10/12/2024: J’ai commandé via ubereat, avant d’avoir lu les commentaires qui disaient que ce n’était pas bon, gras etc J’ai pris un Berliner et Dieu merci c’était très bon, je suis de Paris et ça été un de mes meilleurs grecs Merci au livreur qui m’a convaincu de ne pas annuler ma commande !!

10/08/2024: Nous sommes venu à 4 en famille. Très bon service, le personnel est très aimable et les plats sont très bon et en grande quantité. En prime, petit concert. Il ne fallait rien de plus. C'était top 👍

11/04/2024: Probably the best thing that happened to Avoriaz the last decade! Good & original served food, very friendly service in La Fruitiere. (No so much in the self service & I also miss the pasta rolled in the Parmesan cheese). The performances are really great this year, costumes are nice. DJ’s are good, especially when they play less commercial deep house. The unlimited folie was a perfect initiative, we enjoyed the Kiddy Smile DJ set. A perfect place to start a sunny afternoon, dance and even make some new friends. Much more style & ambiance than the one in Val Thorens.

31/07/2024: Una esperienza da fare assolutamente se si passa da Evian. Servizio di classe, cucina meravigliosa (ci sarà mica lo zampino di qualche italiano?), piatti curati, ricercati e dai gusti raffinati. Tanti complimenti davvero alla chef, che abbiamo avuto l’onore di conoscere, per la creazione di questi piatti, e a tutto il suo staff.

22/08/2024: This is very misleading, because there is a very expensive restaurant (that we went to) and a cafeteria (much better value, that we wished we’d gone to!). We paid €350 for 2 adults and 4 children. The food was very poor, and the service equally poor. The pepper starter was the most bizarre thing we’ve ever eaten. The aubergine dish tasted like a cross between stale liquorice and burnt toast. We thought at least there would be incredible views, but the restaurant is very small with small windows. The views in the cafeteria are far better. Don’t waste your money in the fancy restaurant, just go to the cafeteria!

17/09/2024: Accueil très décontracté. Très joli décor simple et sobre. Repas excellent (poulet sauce aux bolets, légumes, gratin dauphinois) servi copieusement. Café gourmand pour prolonger cet agréable moment. Merci nous reviendrons.

16/09/2024: Accueil froid de la part du patron. Refus de service pour 4 personnes à cause d’un chien de taille moyenne qui nous accompagnait (Berger Australien). La nourriture est peut être bonne mais nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de la goûter pour les raisons évoquer juste au dessus.

04/08/2024: We stayed six nights at the Les Gentianettes hotel, and overall, our experience was quite satisfactory. The setting of the hotel is elegant, offering a real change of scenery. The services offered, such as the swimming pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzis, are in perfect condition and greatly contributed to our well-being during our stay. The welcome from all the staff of the establishment was very warm. However, we were disappointed by the attitude of the hostess, who lacked commercial sense and friendliness. After five nights, we noticed that the bedding, although of good quality, did not suit us (too hard) because there was no real mattress topper. We asked if it was possible to add one to soften our mattress, but she simply replied that the bedding was exceptional and that she did not understand our request, and above all, she did not try to find one. solution. This unsympathetic response tarnished our stay. As a result, we considered leaving the hotel early, but no refund was possible, forcing us to stay. It's a shame to end on a negative note when the establishment as a whole is rather satisfactory. For future customers, it is also important to note that catering and breakfasts are quite expensive. Plan a substantial budget, with prices of €25 for breakfast and €37 per person for a pierrade, for example. Even if the staff remains very friendly, apart from the hostess, they lack a lot of experience. We had to request drinks at a dinner several times and also had to request that part of our bill be canceled for drinks at the pool that did not concern us. Despite these inconveniences, the Les Gentianettes hotel remains a pleasant place for a relaxing stay, provided you are prepared for certain costs and a variable welcome depending on the people you talk to.

27/08/2024: Superbe endroit mais prévoyez un bon budget pour déjeuner. La cuisine est bonne mais , heureusement à ce prix ! Serviettes en papier, pas de nappes... Les vins sont aussi à des tarifs prohibitifs. Globalement le rapport qualité prix est très moyen. Ne vaut pas le déplacement. On trouve des endroits beaucoup plus sympas et abordables à Megève.

24/08/2024: Super! The location is very welcoming as is the service. The quality of the food was excellent and the prices were fair in my opinion. We had a really good time. Especially recommended for those who love barbecue!

21/07/2024: Arrived from Brest, third time I have tasted a dish in the restaurant, the staff welcomes with a smile, the portions are frankly generous, the restaurant is clean, terrace for sitting in the open air, I really recommend their Turkish sausage : a pleasant fruity taste The kebab meat is tender and in nice pieces (not just mince) and the price is lower for the quality and quantity served (: Keep it up honestly!

14/09/2024: Très surpris pas l’ambiance de la salle très chaleureuse et conviviale. La cuisine est excellente et le tout est sublimé par la sympathie et l’hospitalité du chef. Un vrai plaisir.

10/09/2024: Grosse déception. Après une journée très éprouvante moralement, (sépulture d'un couple d'amis) ce jour, un moment de détente aurait été bienvenu, en rentrant chez nous à la roche. J'ai appelé à 5 reprise pour réserver une table..... Répondeur qui nous dit: Nous sommes fermés que le mardi.. Super, on est lundi 9 septembre. Alors, nous décidons de nous rendre sur place. Porte fermée, aucune lumière, aucune réponse à la sonnette.... c'est le cœur bien gros que nous nous sommes résigné à rentrer chez nous, bien triste. Alors, bon conseils 1) Mise à jour de vos horaires 2) Rappel des gens qui laissent des messages 3) Un mot sur la porte est toujours bienvenu. En gros, resto qui a l'air sympa mais un manque de communication est évident. Nous essayerons de retourner un de ces jours mais.... faudra aucune déception. Habitant la roche dur foron, nous restons surpris par ce manque communication. A bientôt.
