17/12/2025: Traveling in August in a campervan near Lake Chaudanne, we cycled to this restaurant, which had received good reviews, for dinner. Indeed, it deserves 6/5 for the quality of the dishes (freshness, taste, presentation) prepared by the chef and the simple, friendly service from his wife. We thoroughly enjoyed the generous portions of everything homemade and had a wonderful evening with this lovely couple... Thank you again!

23/09/2025: We had lunch here with my wife, son, and dog. A very pleasant surprise; the food was generous and refined. We were even offered baked oysters as an appetizer 😊 A true delight, from the starter to the dessert. Congratulations to the chef 👌😁 Very pleasant service and setting. I recommend it 100%.

20/02/2026: Hello, unfortunately the quality has dropped considerably. I was wondering if this was normal, and we went to another Léon today, the one in Châtelet, as well as another one in Paris a few months ago, and it was really very good there. The real taste of the old days. Here, at the one in Vélizy, the mussel pots have no flavor, the sauce is tasteless… And it's a shame, because it wasn't like this before. So we're forced to go elsewhere to find the real taste. Otherwise, the staff is friendly.

27/12/2025: The service was very good, however the crepes tasted burnt. The batter was tasteless. The tartiflette was unseasoned, just potatoes, cream, Reblochon cheese, and bacon, not browned, not well-prepared for €19...

15/02/2026: A restaurant just the way we like them! Here, everything comes together: simplicity, quality, and absolutely delicious, homemade dishes. You'll discover Corsican specialties, prepared with authenticity. Excellent atmosphere. The welcome is wonderful and warm. The value for money is simply unbeatable in Ajaccio. I've never been disappointed; it's always a delight and a truly enjoyable experience. The team is fantastic. There's only one restaurant I return to regularly: this one, because I know I'll have a wonderful time every time. A sure thing.

22/01/2026: Helpful staff! Great atmosphere at the establishment. Perhaps a little too crowded during peak hours. But otherwise, excellent, I highly recommend it!

02/01/2026: I used to go to Columbus Café regularly with my friends; it had become our little ritual. But learning that, on their farms, breeding sows spend almost half their lives locked behind bars is shocking. For a discerning clientele, it's incomprehensible. Columbus Café needs to take a real step forward and make a clear commitment to respecting the Pig Minimum Standards. Many of us are waiting for this change!

17/02/2026: As regulars, we decided to have lunch there for Valentine's Day. We were greeted with a smile by the staff. The service was impeccable and discreet, with attentive staff who always had a kind word and a touch of humor. The table was spotless, and we had a choice of a set menu (starter and main course, or two main courses and dessert, or starter, main course, and dessert) at very competitive prices. The cuisine was original, beautifully presented, with generous portions and excellent quality ingredients. They even gave us time to savor the meal before bringing our dishes and finishing our coffee! That day, the dining rooms were full of guests, but the organization was flawless. The staff and the owner were attentive and always listened to the customers with the utmost discretion. We had a wonderful time. Auberge du Halage is truly a place to eat, a restaurant worthy of a Michelin star. A must for food lovers: don't miss it!

04/01/2026: A very surprising restaurant, completely off the beaten path, but with a very varied menu and very refined cuisine worthy of a gourmet restaurant. Frankly, I recommend it to everyone; it's very, very good.

11/02/2026: If I didn't know other restaurants in this chain, I would strongly advise against Léon de Bruxelles. The service here is very mediocre (slow, very slow), and you have to specifically ask for finger wipes. The mussels are overcooked, etc., etc. So, if you want to go to Léon, don't choose this one.

09/11/2025: It's absolutely delicious, fresh, and flavorful. We ordered the various appetizers and then the ravioli, which were very, very good. The ravioli pasta is extraordinary, and the meat filling is aromatic and flavorful. It's the kind of dish you remember for years afterward. The Armenian wine they offer is wonderful—sweet, fruity, light, and yet with a high alcohol content. And the owner is a person worth meeting.

05/12/2025: A little bit of English (Irish? there was draught Guinness!) pub atmosphere in rural France. Excellent food and lovely service - what's not to like?

07/12/2025: We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. A rather unusual anniversary, certainly, but so enjoyable. The owners were incredibly attentive, and the food was just like back home. A change of scenery, just the way we like it.

24/08/2025: We ate there three years ago when we returned from vacation, and this year we did the same... and it was just as excellent! The frogs' stew with their gratin (simply excellent), the black cep mushrooms... in short, we had a great time, and so did our children! We learned that they were retiring in a month (well-deserved!!), but that the next generation will be well taken care of... to be continued! We wish you a wonderful retirement and thank you again for this wonderful place!
