31/08/2024: The quality of the baguette needs to be changed...their bread was excellent but for several months it hasn't been the same....a shame because the saleswomen are very welcoming. We were loyal daily customers but now we only come occasionally....

21/08/2024: A loyal customer for years, I find the quality of the bread to be a change... the crumb of the traditional baguette is no longer the same. On the other hand, the saleswomen remain very pleasant even if there have been a lot of changes.

11/07/2025: Excellent Corsican tapas bar with a terrace overlooking the square. I recommend the Limonce Spritz and the aubergine!

30/08/2024: Cherchant un coin de paradis sur les coups des 13 heures, nous voilà engouffrées dans les rues du 6ème. Après avoir arpenté quelques rue sans succès, nous nous retrouvons face au Molière, dont les terrasses pleines et les nombreuses recommendations du petit futé nous séduisent. Lorsque la carte nous parvient, première déception : des plats très classiques (burger, fish & chips, ravioles…). Sans perdre un instant, nous commandons. Quelques dizaines de minutes plus tard, les plats arrivent. Pour faire bref : un burger simple, sans grande saveur, mais au prix épicé. Des « ravioles aux légumes » sans legumes donc sèches, tout autant que la serveuse, qui, peu flexible, nous impose un supplément lorsque nous demandons une variation dans le parfum de glace. Pompon sur la Garonne, on nous propose une fraise tagada pour accompagner notre café. Le Molière, quelle tartufferie !

Tout était très bon et frais : plat du jour, salade à composer, glaces (merci pour les suggestions). Équipe dynamique. Mon seul regret : ne pas avoir eu de monnaie pour un pourboire... 29/03/2024: The bars are basically nice. But the clientele is sometimes from the extreme left who have rotted the walls of the toilets with ugly tags and stickers... And it gives a dirty image of the bar.

Steven gave us good advice on small restaurants and activities to do, thank you very much, it was very pleasant! The hotel takes great care with kind touches. The breakfast is complete and very generous. The hotel is quiet and very well located, a stone's throw from the port. With the parking it’s a real plus. The rooms are unusual and pleasant. Thank you it was a good time

24/08/2024: La Baronnie was an excellent choice for our first trip to Île de Ré. Its prime location, combined with beautifully renovated rooms and impeccable service, made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel's recent renovation ensures that everything is fresh and modern. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the cleaning staff do an excellent job maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The hotel's lovely garden provides a peaceful time for everyone to relax and enjoy the sunshine or shade. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. While our stay was overall fantastic, the only downside was that our room had windows facing the road. The noise from passing by people made it a bit difficult to sleep. We recommend bringing earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. Despite this minor issue, La Baronnie remains a highly recommended hotel for those visiting Île de Ré. Its combination of location, comfort, and service makes it a great choice for a memorable stay.

10/08/2024: We have dined here each year with few breaks for a quarter century since it was a somewhat run-down auberge du lac run for water skiers and have greatly enjoyed watching it develop into a lovely secluded place with a great and spacious lakeside view, very good food, imaginatively put together and beautifully presented and a warm welcome.
