07/12/2025: Situation recap: me, a girlfriend, and a friend
IT WAS AWFUL. We arrived with a maximum of 10 people, all men. The women introduced me and my girlfriend.
A disaster. It was incredibly awkward, a cold atmosphere, constant discomfort. We didn't even know where to look, it was so embarrassing. And paying €34 for a Coke and two Desperados? What a joke!
RUN AWAY!
07/12/2025: Arriving at 2 a.m. on a Saturday, the experience was disappointing from the very first second. The main room is tiny, lacking atmosphere, and feels completely neglected.
The reception didn't help: the manager's reaction upon seeing us was, to say the least, bizarre and only exacerbated the discomfort.
The bar prices are simply incomprehensible: €34 for two Desperados and a Coke. At that level, it's more about exaggeration than service.
With so little entertainment and such a poor atmosphere, there's no reason to want to explore the rest of the place. As for the advertised €40 rate for single men, it's completely unjustified given the quality of the drinks offered.

15/06/2024: We came here to eat and work and gentlemen came with bad attitude to move us to tiny table where we cannot even put our food on. Horrible customer service, definitely not the western civilization far from the United States standards. Place not worth to earn our business.

28/09/2024: We were staying in the campsite opposite and had read good reports about this snack bar. We were very happy with the burger and home made chips we had. It wasn’t overly busy but others came while we were there and service was good. If in the area I would definitely return.
25/09/2024: L'endroit est tellement cosy. Une belle vue sur le château. La serveuse est extrêmement gentille. Le burger et frire maisons excellent ainsi que le vin de bergerac moelleux. Une belle pause avant de monter au château de Beynac. Chloé

16/06/2024: Very good meal, very tender meat, nothing to say. A little children's menu suggestion would be good because the dishes are very well served.

13/06/2024: It doesn't even deserve 1 star, unpleasant, non-commercial, I asked for a commercial gesture following a 2 hour wait to be served and still no one came to see us on the terrace we had to move 4-5 times in order to get the order which was for 3 American ham which consisted of just a piece of baguette with a slice of ham and oven fries. I won't tell you see you soon

31/10/2024: We have had our stew ravioli here every week for many years (more than 20 years) and have never been disappointed. For the holidays we have special ravioli. A wide choice and always a delight... not to mention the other dishes cooked from time to time for a change a little... and to taste.
Free municipal parking nearby, that’s also great 👍
08/08/2024: Really pleasantly surprised by this place. The food looked good on a walk past and we gave it a go. We were not disappointed. The quiches were my particular favourite (ham one was just perfect) but their seafood (deep fried prawns) were also really good as well! I suggest you pick up some stuff here for a picnic like we did. We also returned and got some of their pasta to cook up for our dinner that evening and it was on point!

18/05/2024: a friendly place where Brassens, Blondin or Fallet would meet! friends first: good things to eat, good wines to drink, a surrealist decor Dali is not far away, wooden tables carved with a billhook, barrels raised to place the box of tapas!! At Pierrot's or perhaps at Vincent, Paul and the others', in short it's friendship that takes the quarter and it's the simple taste of things as we like them.
