The mini burger starter was fantastic, followed by white pudding with mashed potatoes and mustard sauce, or the superb baby scallops. 07/09/2026: Comfortable bar that felt genuine, not a manufactured "Irish bar". Good beers and whiskeys. Closed on Sunday or we would have tried their "Celtic Hotdog", just to find out what that is!

07/09/2026: One of the very few restaurants open in the evening in Bellême. The menu is very short because everything is fresh and homemade. The service is very pleasant and professional. The wine list is also short, with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

15/08/2026: One of the view place where the menu is a bit different from Burger and other rubbish.. side dishes are actually side with a bit a vegetables, mash. A nice change from just french fries !!! Perfect lamb you could cut with your folks. Nice truffle flavored pasta with burrata. Decent choice of local wine by carafe. Worth a visit!!!

15/08/2026: A really nice restaurant! The food arrived quickly and perfectly met our expectations 🙂. A very warm welcome from the waiter, who had a great sense of humor and even offered us a shot of infused rum before we left! I highly recommend it!

16/09/2026: A pleasant surprise, found along our route. Clearly many regulars, which reassured us. Friendly staff, especially the brunette waitress with her charming accent. We had a good lunch today at a reasonable price.

06/09/2026: A great experience at this restaurant! The food was good, but it's the quality of the service that really stands out. The staff were incredibly attentive, distributing refreshing bottles of water with sprayers and regularly refilling our water carafes. The terrace is pleasant, even if it's a bit enclosed under the parasols, so in the evening we couldn't really enjoy the cool air when the temperature dropped. An excellent place for a delicious lunch and attentive service.

27/07/2026: I came here in October of last year, and forgot to write a review but I couldn’t let it slide after such an amazing experience, We’d just visited the catacombs nearby, and were looking for a cozy place to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we found La Vie d’Ange. The owner happened to be in the place and welcomed us, the food was delicious and the hospitality made the night even more special than we expected :) Definitely a place id recommend to anyone looking for a place with a lot of heart behind every plate and welcoming gesture. Thank you for making that night so memorable.

07/07/2026: The restaurant is interesting and well-suited for an aperitif, charcuterie board, or focaccia with wine for connoisseurs; the wine list is very good. However, it's disappointing for a more traditional meal: a very limited menu, no salads, not enough choices, and very few vegetables or side dishes to accompany the meat. In short, it's a wine bar.

08/06/2026: A very warm welcome and family atmosphere. We stopped by on a Sunday evening with the MG France club, and the owner had prepared cold meals for us on this Sunday evening, the eve of the Monday bank holiday. A truly welcoming experience; I highly recommend it! 👍👍👍

21/05/2026: We had a lovely stay at this hotel with its family atmosphere. The room was comfortable, as was the bedding, but it was a bit cramped, at least the one we were given. Otherwise, it was quite quiet, even though you could hear the nearby traffic (when the room faced the main road). We really liked the price of the aperitifs—they were reasonably priced! It's a shame there's no more self-service food, but the breakfast was good! Adding an egg cooker would make it even better :) Finally, the jacuzzi was fantastic, and the motorcycle shelter was great too! 👍 We had stayed before, we came back, and as long as you offer good value for money, we will definitely return! Original, varied, generous portions, very high quality of food, a very special mention for the cheese and dessert (ice cream) 😍😍 When professionalism is combined with kindness, success is complete. 14/08/2026: A perfect experience! We used Schwoob catering for our wedding reception and everyone loved it! It was excellent! The contact we had there made the service easy and high-quality. I highly recommend them!
