They'll find you the perfect little table, even during the busiest hours, and if you choose the croque monsieur, you'll be treated just as well as someone who ordered the most expensive dish. So please, choose these places over the "street food" vendors who just reheat a cardboard cutout!

11/07/2025: The principle of paying directly with your phone using the QR code is a good idea, but when you receive your receipt, which is neither a note nor an invoice, by email, you realize that there is no VAT on it and therefore it is impossible to get a refund. I call the restaurant so that they send me a real invoice by email and there it is "no sir, you have to come back to the restaurant!!! When you live 100km away, it is not possible, so never again.

14/01/2026: Excellent spot in Cherbourg for enjoying original burgers! The place is nice and well-located for exploring the city. Special mention for the back terrace, which is particularly pleasant in the summer. The portions are generous and the price isn't exorbitant for the quality. The service is quick and the staff are super friendly! Seeing the kitchen when you arrive adds a personal touch to the experience.

The service was impeccable: the server was attentive, responsive to our requests, and always available. The restaurant's atmosphere is friendly, relaxed, and pleasant, perfect for a meal with friends or family. As for the food, it's simply delicious! The pizzas were tasty, generously topped, made with quality ingredients and a perfect crust, as were the other dishes. A real treat. A wonderful discovery that we recommend without hesitation, and where we will gladly return!

It's just the oversights that are infuriating. You pay for eight items, you want eight items, not six. Otherwise, requests are met (no cheese due to lactose intolerance), and the service and staff are top-notch.

08/12/2025: I went to McDonald's for a meal, and first of all, is the sauce expensive? Because I didn't even have any in my burger; it was as dry as a shoe. I asked for a burger, not a shoe! If that's what I wanted, I would have gone to a store that sells shoe soles, not McDonald's. Honestly, even my dog ​​wouldn't have eaten it, it was so dry. And the ice cream? Don't even get me started. It was like a glass of water, white food coloring, chocolate, and Daim, and for them, that's ice cream. But honestly, it was disgusting. Frankly, I only go to McDonald's when I have no other choice, but honestly, I wouldn't go there on a whim. It's so bad. When I'm not finding hair in my burger, it's a disgrace. And the potatoes were dry too, sometimes moldy. Honestly, come on, let's not get carried away and check that your potatoes are good...

Yesterday, however, I was very disappointed with the meal: it was very salty, the meat wasn't fresh, the fries were overcooked, and the clafoutis was clearly from the day before and also not fresh. I hope this is just a one-off, as I come here very regularly.

Look at the photo of my rice dish, which I just posted. It looks like a hospital cafeteria. When it came time to pay, you didn't even apologize. I had to ask to see you, refusing to pay for this €25 meal. I had you called discreetly, away from your other customers, and if you hadn't barked, we would have negotiated amicably. So no, sir, I'm not here to ruin small businesses, and all my other reviews prove it. I just want to show the plate of lukewarm fish and rice without sauce that you dared to serve me, without understanding that I refused to pay €25, and arguing that the snails and French toast were good! For our two meals, I still left you €30 in cash because I'm not a thief. I even left a tip for your waitress who was suffering from your bad faith and I felt sorry for her. We can all make mistakes sometimes, we can all have problems sometimes, and if you had come forward yourself to take responsibility for this canteen-style meal when your waitress expressed our dissatisfaction, we would have understood each other. Instead, you let your employee present me with the full bill, hiding in your kitchen, even though you yourself admitted that you served me that because there was nothing else left at 12:45! Come on... Let's be serious.

11/11/2024: Après avoir mangé il y a très longtemps des poutines en vacances au Canada, je cherchais un restaurant où retrouvé le plaisir d'en manger une. Merci beaucoup c'était comme mes souvenirs de canada. Nous avons pris des maxi poutine ( depuis le temps j'ai voulu me faire plaisir). Les portions sont très copieuse 😊 je n'ai pas pu finir mais au plus grand bonheur de mon conjoint. Service rapide et très agréable. J'espère pouvoir revenir lors de prochaines vacances.
