27/08/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at the McDonald's in L'Isle-Adam. I had 148 loyalty points available on my app and wanted to use 75 points to get a Royal Deluxe burger, which is listed under my "Iconic Burgers" rewards. At the drive-thru, I scanned my loyalty card and was told I couldn't use my points. I then asked the cashier directly if it was really impossible to use points at the drive-thru, and he confirmed that it was. I find this really disappointing and, above all, very unclear, since my app offers this benefit and the loyalty program information indicates that rewards can be used at the drive-thru. If the L'Isle-Adam drive-thru doesn't allow the use of loyalty points, this should be clearly indicated to customers and in the app. A very disappointing experience, especially for a simple use of loyalty points.

16/08/2026: What a lovely place Café de la Poste is! The food and wines are perfect... organic, homemade, and natural... a warm and welcoming atmosphere... and the bill is unbeatable! They also have a very pleasant guesthouse next door in the old post office! Yes, they still exist!

21/08/2026: It's a true slice of paradise! My friend and I were just passing through Gap for four hours before catching our BlaBlaCar ride. Our brief visit to this café made us want to stay longer… or simply come back to Gap! A huge thank you to the owner and her husband for their warm welcome and kindness. They are down-to-earth, genuine, and deeply humane people—truly worthwhile individuals. Thank you again for your advice about the city and for helping us with our luggage. We rarely leave tips, but your kindness truly touched us. A wonderful encounter and a place we won't forget. We'll definitely be back! It's so refreshing to see people like that!

18/08/2026: We dined there two nights in a row on the recommendation of Boris, who owns a bar in the shopping arcade. Very good, fast service, very friendly waiters and waitresses!

16/08/2026: Rustic mountain cuisine that does the job. Good dessert (French toast). Still, the bill was a bit steep.
