You're in her house, and if her children are napping on the sofa in the lobby in the morning, you might get a bit of a scolding if you try to walk through before the advertised breakfast time of 8:00, as if you've entered a private space.

28/04/2026: A very pleasant place with very friendly staff. However, given the simplicity of the dishes, one might expect better, especially the hard-boiled eggs in the Lyonnaise salad. And finally, the highlight of the meal: 16 euros for a 50cl bottle of Mâcon wine... I've honestly never seen anything like it, it's highway robbery. Putting that aside, it was okay, but nothing special.

28/06/2026: La Tête dans le Fut is a must-visit beer bar in the Touraine region, serving Ballan-Miré and Joué-lès-Tours. Enjoy indoor or outdoor service, good beers, and reasonable prices.

21/05/2026: This restaurant is overpriced for what it offers. A chicken fricassee with three measly little chicken thighs, pasta, and a mushroom sauce cost €15.90... No more burgers with steak were available after 12:15 PM... The pulled beef burger was awful, like shepherd's pie in a bun... A panna cotta for €7! No set menu or daily specials were offered... A 50cl beer was €8! Very disappointed with the value for money, which I could understand in downtown Tours or even Paris, but in an industrial area in Montbazon...

The guacamole is fresh, and the chili adds a lovely aroma without being overpowering. As for drinks, I highly recommend trying their cocktails! The lemon curd is a must-try on the menu. 13/07/2026: I ordered a McFlurry and was very surprised by the portion size, which was extremely small. I went back to the employee who had prepared it. She insisted it was the standard size, in a rather unpleasant manner. When I explained that McFlurries usually served were significantly larger, she stood by her statement. She then offered to call a manager. While going to get him, she said to a colleague in front of me, "I'm not going to change the rules for one customer." This was an inappropriate remark, especially since I was standing right next to him. The manager gave me several contradictory explanations: he first told me the portion size met the chain's guidelines, then offered to remake the McFlurry, performing the "three turns" required by McDonald's. He also explained that the dessert looked smaller because of the new, larger packaging and because the ice cream had been compressed. However, as I was leaving, I overheard him say to the employee, "You barely did three turns." So the problem wasn't just the quantity served, but also the employee's attitude and the lack of consistency in her explanations. A disappointing experience.
