09/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpage. It's very well located. The welcome was excellent, with staff taking great care of us. We felt very comfortable there. The common areas are spacious. We loved the mulled wine by the fireplace.
We ate very well. The breakfast was very generous. The spa in the evening after a day of skiing was a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
14/03/2026: A very cozy hotel, right at the foot of the slopes (5-minute walk) in Vars Sainte Marie, with charming managers and top-notch staff. The food is also flawless. Go for it!

We are pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago and we made a detour of only 500 meters from the GR (long-distance hiking trail) to stock up on supplies. The shopkeeper allowed us access to the church, which was closed due to theft. She then advised us to visit the convent right next to her shop.
We recommend you take this short detour, which will enrich your pilgrimage.
