08/03/2026: A huge thank you to La Taverne Comtoise for allowing us to enjoy a much-desired fondue, which was excellent (the only place in Morbier or Morez to offer this iconic winter dish of the region; otherwise, it's pizza or kebabs—French gastronomy is slowly disappearing). A truly authentic place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere (we arrived soaked from the Morbier train station 😆). Excellent memories, highly recommended.

28/02/2026: A first and unpleasant experience. The burger patty was frozen, the bun stale, and the tomato was barely there in name—unsurprising for this time of year. Back to the kitchen, the meat wasn't even rare. Frozen fries, much like the atmosphere. The Jura-style escalope was equally disappointing: not creamy, not flavorful... Only our little girl ate well, which is the most important thing. When it came time to pay, the manager didn't say a word, hence my harsh but fair review. It's lucky for them that there's tourism.

08/11/2025: The atmosphere was more like a youth bar than an Irish pub. Allowing customers to vape inside the bar is particularly unpleasant, not to mention illegal. I'll add that when customers can do it right under the servers' noses, there's no excuse. This wasn't an isolated incident.

02/02/2026: An excellent crêperie with generous galettes. The desserts are just as generous. Impeccable service from the owner, who is always smiling and welcoming. Her husband is in the kitchen; he's the one who delights our taste buds. It's definitely worth the trip.

03/03/2026: I've been a regular at this bar for ages (friends live right next door). I went back last Friday: it hasn't changed :D Well, almost. There's a lovely new waitress :p The burgers are great, the fries are homemade... It's perfect when the live music is also to our liking.

15/03/2026: A fantastic place for a great evening with friends. The staff are attentive and accommodating, the sharing platters are excellent, made with quality ingredients, and the wine list seems endless with expert and tailored recommendations. We'll definitely be back, and many times over!
