We would particularly like to thank Timur, the manager who welcomed us. He was very attentive, professional, and warm. Thanks to his hospitality and service, we had a very pleasant experience.
The only minor point for improvement is that the cleanliness could be better. Aside from that, we were very satisfied with our experience and highly recommend this restaurant.

07/07/2026: We had an amazing bouillabaisse dinner at Chez Fonfon last night. We sat near a window with a view of Vallon des Auffes and once we placed our order, the waiter came back to the table to show the ones who ordered the bouillabaisse, what seafood will be in our dish. The soup was delicious, hearty and rich in flavor, it was incredible! For wine, we followed the recommendations off of the menu.
The waitstaff was knowledgeable and took good care of us. It was a wonderful dinner.
06/07/2026: If you can't get into chez Michel this is a great alternative. Just as good.

The woman was very unpleasant, as if we had forced her to work!
This kind of behavior is very childish.

One drawback… €15 for a slice of foie gras with a red fruit coulis… overpriced…
A warm goat cheese salad at €19… also overpriced considering that, on average, you restaurateurs make a substantial profit margin.
We all have to make a living, we all have bills… but paying for the ambiance and not the quality or quantity… that's a shame.
An aggressive pricing policy that will ultimately backfire on you, unfortunately.

16/03/2026: Despite the stairs for three floors (especially when returning from a night out), we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We slept well, and the breakfast kept us going during our mountain excursions.
