25/07/2026: Excellent service, generous and high-quality food, I highly recommend it!!!

01/07/2026: On Wednesday, July 1st, during a stroll through Lille, we were drawn to the terrace, ideally located on the steps with a magnificent view of the Grand Place. It was hard to resist the urge to sit down and enjoy a refreshing drink! I especially want to highlight the excellent service. The young man who greeted us and took our order was truly friendly, smiling, pleasant, and patient. This deserves to be mentioned, as it is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare to encounter waiters or waitresses who perform their work with such good humor and enthusiasm. Thank you to him for this enjoyable experience. I hope future visitors will have the chance to enjoy the same!

18/09/2026: Coffee was great, had a good conversation with the barista there, she was so kind and even went as far as to recommend a natural wine bar, and some restaurants! Over all, a really great experience !!

08/09/2026: A tiny, well loved coffee spot tucked into the Marais, and one that had extra pull for me given the Danish flag hanging inside and the fact that they sell La Cabra beans, easily one of my favourite roasters back home. It felt like a little piece of Copenhagen dropped into Paris, in the best way. Properly good coffee, small and characterful space, exactly the sort of find you hope to stumble across.

27/08/2026: I had a medium shrimp poke bowl today. It was very good! The combination of ingredients and the two sauces were good, but I was disappointed by the amount of rice at the bottom of the bowl. It also needed more grated carrots. These aren't the most expensive ingredients, so it's a shame. The proportions could be adjusted, otherwise it would have been perfect!

04/08/2026: No one was allowed to have a drink in the square while waiting for their reserved table because otherwise they'd get too many customers. The staff were friendly but overwhelmed, and the meal cost €27 per person. We ordered it pink and rare. We ate shoe leather, asked for a change, and it was even worse. No gesture of goodwill or even a digestif. Being in the restaurant business, I can say the place is really nice but lacks marketing and organization. Yes, yes, it's your place, pay at the hotel on the day of departure. The duck is €27.

03/08/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, both the food and the professionalism of the staff. A big thank you also to the Chef who accommodated my requests (without this, without that, etc.)! I particularly recommend the creamy dessert for those with a sweet tooth…

01/09/2026: Another burger missing... We can't even call to ask for something to be done next time... It's depressing to see this when 8 or 10 people are behind the counter getting paid to do practically nothing... And what's worse, we went to Rosière two days ago, excellent, but here in La Chapelle Saint Luc, it's disgusting, the burgers are nothing! Half-filled, cold... I'll come visit you tomorrow.

It's truly a pleasure to be served with such professionalism and a smile. A top-notch team and an employee who deserves special recognition. We will definitely be back.

20/04/2026: A truly enchanting experience! Stepping through Ida's door is like finding the comfort of home. The welcome is incredibly warm and the food is simply delicious, authentic, and generous. You feel right at home, the food is wonderful... You can't wait to go back. I'm especially looking forward to trying the spaghetti and meatballs.
