30/07/2026: I only gave one star for the food because I didn't eat in the pub. The waiter, Jeff, was 🤩🤩🤩🤩 friendly. The service was pleasant and professional, always with a touch of humor. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: Good service and good food, the beer wasn't expensive, considering the prices at the door, and we were able to reserve a table right in front of the TV. The music and lighting weren't up to par for what's supposed to be an Irish pub. I watched the World Cup final perfectly.

13/09/2026: I received a little lesson in politeness from the manager because I forgot to say hello when I picked up my order. The condescending tone was clearly more refined than the order itself: when I got home, the Big Mac was missing. Politeness goes both ways. So does respect for the customer. And while we're on the subject of giving lessons, we might as well start by checking the orders.

12/09/2026: I'm really disappointed with my delivery order. I ordered a box of nuggets to share, but it only contained 15 pieces instead of 20. I'm really disappointed by the sloppy delivery preparation. Especially since this isn't the first time.

Connoisseurs will appreciate the aged ribeye, the Black Angus hanger steak, and the steak tartare, available in portions from 250g to 450g depending on your appetite! The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection to complement the meat. Some weeks, sweetbreads are featured as the daily special with homemade mashed potatoes: a delight! And on some Friday evenings, there's grilled lobster: a must-try! Regulars always return and quickly become loyal customers.

05/08/2026: A very bad experience. We arrived in the afternoon, when there were few diners and the place was nearly empty. Despite this, the person in charge was hostile. It took a long time for them to take our order and even longer to serve us; we waited about 35 minutes for our food, whereas other customers—who were French—were served in about 15 minutes, even those who had arrived after us. There are busier places nearby where we received faster service and better treatment.

We asked why the closing time was listed as 9:30 PM and why they were closing now... his response was, "Ugh... we're closing because... well, you know..." This has happened three times already. And on top of that, he told us to go to Sennecey...

19/04/2026: The food is good, but the service is incredibly slow. We arrived at noon, and our starter wasn't served until 1:20 PM... A bit long for a cold starter (foie gras terrine) in a restaurant that wasn't even full... We had to wait three hours for our starter, main course, and dessert, and we still had to wait for the chef to finish serving the other tables before taking payment, as the waitress couldn't do it. 🥱🥱🥱💤💤💤

17/05/2026: Very nice hotel. We had a large clean room, one of 2 on ground floor near parking, excellent for a person w mobility issue. Large parking. Quiet. Pleasant staff, very good restaurant (one menu for the day). Good breakfast. Recommended.

23/04/2026: The Lion d’Or is a particularly well-maintained hotel where you immediately feel at ease. The rooms and common areas are bright and well-kept. A very comfortable stay is guaranteed. The welcome is warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Just a 10-minute walk away, you'll find a lovely park with a discovery trail showcasing the region's trees: a wonderful opportunity for a stroll while learning something new!

16/03/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday evening with four people. What a happy coincidence! The welcome, the service, the warm food, and we were pleasantly surprised by a beautifully prepared and delicious meal. Bravo!

07/03/2026: We were in La Grande Motte for the race. We stopped by chance as a family at the horse-drawn carriage. We received a very warm welcome, the food was good, my salad was generous and beautifully presented. The pizza and burger were also very good. The restrooms were very clean, which was a plus.
