29/08/2026: I don't often leave reviews, but I've seen recent reviews that I personally feel could be misleading. The staff are regularly welcoming, chatty (when it's not too busy to chat). They'll offer recommendations, and know about each of their different bags of coffee for sale. They'll speak English to you if you need (despite the fact that if we go on holiday to anglophone countries, everyone can only speak english). I've personally been a barista elsewhere for years and it's unforgiving. You have a bad day, or your family member is sick, or you slept badly, or you have a headache, you had better fake a smile or you get a 1 star review. You also had better not remotely feel the stress of 30 people coming in at once. We give zero grace for people who aren't even on amazing wages.

28/08/2026: I don’t recommend it at all . Recently the staff has become more and more agressive ! If you go to coffee it ‘s also to relax !! So forget about going to this one! I think they think they’ re super hype now and have forgot that they also have to welcome people properly as that counts as much as the quality of coffee !!!! I ‘ve been shout out by a girl from the staff there and this is not acceptable as i never never shouted or intended to have such kind of conversation going to have a coffee with a friend ! Be careful Deep , we are more and more people to say that the staff is cold and agressive . Check on TripAdvisor as well

The owner always greeted us with a smile and good cheer, even when she was short on time, as she runs the restaurant single-handedly! We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent crepes and ice cream. The place itself is fantastic, decorated with spirit and character (authentic zinc, antique tiles and flooring…), and the food (tastefully sourced) is a delight! On several occasions, we've noticed how friendly, welcoming, and attentive the team is. A big thank you to the whole team for your kindness and consistently pleasant service! 👏

22/09/2026: Thanks to McDonald's St. Serge, when I was just a little kid, I often ate there, especially the famous McChicken with delicious fries and crushed tomatoes. And after that, what did I do, you might ask? Well, I'll tell you, I went to play my best soccer games! But that was a long time ago now (sad smiley). Anyway, tonight I ordered a McChicken and I was served super fast, it was like Mbappe was in the kitchen, it was so quick! The person who took my order was super fast and efficient, like a real speed demon, and the waitress was also super fast. Anyway, back to my story: I sat comfortably in a white armchair fit for the greatest kings of France, I unwrapped my McChicken and a delicious smell of lemon and chicken wafted up to my nostrils. So I decided to take a bite and... A wave of nostalgia washes over me (scoring a goal in the clásico in 4th and 5th grade, my first dates, my parents, saying goodbye to my football club...). The burger I ate wasn't just a burger, it was the story of my life. Thank you to the whole McDonald's team for giving me this experience.

18/09/2026: They supposedly close at 6:30 PM, but at 6:07 PM they're not taking any more orders! Actually, they should say 6:00 PM! I recommend an internship at the French Coffee Shop in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, where they don't close 30 minutes before the posted time!

10/09/2026: I stop there every time I'm in Rouen; it's been a reliable choice for me for years. The service, the welcome, and the food are all excellent. The taste is far superior to the competition. Go without hesitation!

19/04/2026: Friendly and welcoming, whenever I want to unwind, you can be sure to find me there. I go dancing alone, and it's the best place where you can feel completely safe. The welcome and service are impeccable; all the employees, as well as the owner, are incredibly pleasant. I highly recommend it. After posting my review, I saw a comment below from a woman who said, "If you're alone, never go there... you have to be easy or something..." Well, I've always gone to the balafon alone, I've always danced alone from beginning to end (yes, I love to dance) without being bothered during the evening (yes, sometimes people ask me to dance, but a simple NO is enough). I've always gotten home without any problems, even though I live more than 15 km away and had to catch the first bus. I'm the tall, slim brunette who arrived first and left last. See you very soon 🤗

08/02/2026: This place is fantastic, pleasant, and friendly. The owner and all her employees are very helpful and welcoming. Good atmosphere. That's why I don't understand why they were closed last night, February 7th, 2026. If anyone has an answer, please let me know? Hoping it's a temporary closure.

04/09/2026: We hired Paganis for our wedding last weekend and they were incredible: their service, their kindness, and the quality of the food. They made a giant lemon meringue pie for us—it was their first time making one, and it was a huge success. Highly recommended!
