06/01/2026: We had a wonderful New Year's Eve. The food was refined and delicate! A real treat! And a lovely atmosphere to continue the evening. The staff were very welcoming and attentive!

12/12/2025: Arriving among the first, the waitress looked me up and down, refusing me access to the garden and leaving access for the other people behind me. I was very disappointed by this behavior, which made me leave immediately.

06/09/2025: Do not eat here if you are hungry. The food quality is okay, but the portions are tiny. You will need a long sit if you plan to fill your stomach, since you can't order more than two tapas per person each time. The owners also seemed more interested in each others company than with the guests. Maybe it is a good place to drink, we did not try any alcoholic beverages, but for a good dinner, I would go somewhere else. Reaction to the owners reply: we know tapas are supposed to be small, but normally they are not this tiny. In Spain, a country where they know how to make tapas, portions are significantly larger. After the first round of tapas we concluded that, with these portions, our stomachs were not going to be filled no matter how long we would spend here. So we went elsewhere for a proper meal.

16/03/2026: I'm writing again because this McDonald's really treats people like idiots and is wasting my time. I ordered from them for the first time, and one of the toasted sandwiches was missing, half the fries were missing, and one of the drinks was incorrect. They contacted me to offer a refund following my initial comment here, promising me a free meal as compensation. I went there to ask for the free meal, and they told me no, only the toasted sandwich would be refunded. So I canceled my order and accepted being ripped off for two fries, a drink, and a toasted sandwich, which comes to roughly €13, but this review will stay here; it's not the only one I've seen. This restaurant is deplorable, and I want to emphasize that this isn't the only order I've had with them. I strongly advise going to another fast food restaurant when you need a quick meal.

14/03/2026: I never post reviews, but I have to this time because I'm so fed up. Every time I come here, I wait at least 30 minutes. It's the longest McDonald's I know. Living in Sollies-Pont, it's almost faster to go to the one in La Garde and back, and it's always warmer. Here, on top of waiting, it's cold.

15/12/2024: Well, we were having a nice quiet evening, and there's the bouncer, a guy about 1m40 tall - let's say he wasn't hired to watch over the counter - who shows up like s he wanted to resolve the Third World War. His big problem? I took out my electronic cigarette... to smoke it OUTSIDE. Not in, there, OUT. But hey, unable to prove anything, Mr. Inspector Gadget changed the tape and started accusing me of having spoken in French after having responded in English. Let's face it, there, in a bar where they speak to you in English as soon as you walk through the door, that's quite a reproach. And this is the best: the guy offered to “take me outside dancing”. Yes yes, dance! I was cramped. I didn't know if I was dealing with a bouncer or a failed Revolution audition. I didn't dare ask him what the steps he had in mind were, but I imagine they mostly involved boots. Obviously, when I asked him to show his business card, he refused. Honestly, I'm pretty sure she just exists in his dreams, like his career as a prima ballerina. A little word for the boss, while we're here: maybe hiring real pros, with certifications and all that, would avoid this kind of circus, don't you think? A bouncer is supposed to keep calm, not play lounge cowboy with customers. Ah, and while we're at it, we should also sort out another detail: the fries. Because there, cold as they were, they could have been used as ice cubes. And that, boss, is unforgiving.

29/03/2026: We were attacked by a drunk man who assaulted a friend of mine. The "security" man—if you can even call him that—did absolutely nothing except protect the man. Security was nonexistent. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Avoid it.

11/03/2026: I think it's a great bistro for a quick bite, for a hot chocolate (which is very good, by the way) in winter, or for enjoying the sun on the terrace when the weather's nice, especially on market days :) It's a Vincennes institution, and the staff is friendly.

04/03/2026: Clearly the best terrace in Vincennes. This place is very popular but remains truly delightful. I love going there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and I've honestly rarely been disappointed. However, you have to be careful when it's crowded; sometimes the dishes are a bit rushed, which is a shame. That said, the menu is quite varied, with simple bistro dishes and a slightly more elaborate daily menu, and it's always very well executed. The service varies, again, depending on how busy it is. Since the restaurant is very often full, the servers sometimes struggle to keep up. The portions are still quite generous, though, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. I rank this restaurant in my top 3 in Vincennes, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
