16/05/2026: While walking down the street, I stumbled upon Maison Landemaine. A friend had recommended this bakery, and I wasn't disappointed! The pain au chocolat was absolutely delicious, incredibly melt-in-your-mouth. I also tried a fruit tart—fantastic! The service was quick, and I chatted a bit with a friendly waitress. A great place I'll definitely be back for again and again!

16/05/2026: When you buy a meal deal for almost €20 and the sandwich is cold, the fries are also unsalted and bland, and the drink tasted like water—it was disgusting. I do not recommend it, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! As for the service, the waiters... well, I don't know if you can even call them waiters, they are completely unfriendly, not even a smile. There are also issues with the garbage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

10/05/2026: Great cozy place for serving some breakfast. I had the English breakfast and I was very pleased. The waiter is a man city fan.. Seems everybody is.. In Paris.

07/05/2026: We were a group of four. No one came to see us. We waited 30 minutes. We got up to go see the first server, who told us we weren't in his section, and that was all. We found the second server, our server, in the next room, chatting. We left.

12/04/2026: If you're looking for the best croissants in the world, you'll find them at "Au Cœur de la Mie". For years, we've spent our annual holiday in Recloses and always look forward to enjoying their delicious, handmade, and oven-fresh croissants and baguettes. The warm atmosphere and attentive service invite you to linger. We're already looking forward to our visit next year!

16/05/2026: We arrived at 10:20 PM on a Saturday night after a competition and were refused entry with our athletes, even though closing time was 11:00 PM. The person wasn't very friendly. We definitely don't recommend it; it's a shame.

16/05/2026: We tried the chicken wrap and it was very good. Our son's menu instructions were followed. Atmosphere: the music wasn't too loud, the set was modern, and the place was kept clean.

17/04/2026: I'm quite disappointed; the sandwich I ordered wasn't very filling, there wasn't much choice, it wasn't worth it, I might as well get a sandwich at the Monoprix next door. Although the waitress was lovely.

10/04/2026: I highly recommend the salmon and cucumber bagel! This new bread adds a new flavor to this already excellent sandwich. The pre-made baskets are definitely worth it: three different pastries and/or viennoiseries for €2.

14/05/2026: The food is so good, but it lacks seasoning and is sometimes very, very dry. McDonald's isn't always very clean, especially the restrooms, and when you go into the play areas, you can immediately see that they aren't very well maintained. The atmosphere is cool at first glance, very nice; you can eat peacefully without being bothered or having people come up to you. However, I also want to mention something: when I get takeout, you sometimes say, "You won't even see the receipt, I could just take something from someone else." It's the same thing. Takeout orders are often incomplete and take a very long time, sometimes even 30 minutes for a McDonald's order. I prefer to cook at home if that's the case. As for the Candy, it's not always complete; you have to constantly check. I'd like to stop checking. It would be good to check other dishes as well. Otherwise, the food is quite good if you want something quick to take away; it's pretty good.

14/05/2026: It's always the same, something's always missing. The staff don't seem to want to work or aren't cut out for customer service (no hello, no goodbye, not even a smile). The burgers are always thrown together haphazardly, and I never get any sauce, even when I ask for it. Great 👍🏼

09/06/2026: This restaurant's food quality is steadily declining, but their prices never go down! The dishes are prepared hastily, some are tasteless, and the manager has an answer for everything. It's so easy to post on social media. The staff are clowning around at the manager's request, and the dishes look beautiful. In short, they only show us what they want us to see... Yes, indeed! To be clear, I do not recommend it. Avoid at all costs.

02/06/2026: Disappointment Despite a Decent Welcome We dined at Septième Art on a Sunday evening and the experience was generally disappointing. The starter was decent and quite pleasant. However, my main course, Thai noodles with shrimp, was inedible due to its excessive sweetness. I must acknowledge, though, that the manager was responsive: he came to inquire about the problem and offered to replace the dish with duck breast and fries. The gesture was appreciated, even if the duck breast turned out to be rather ordinary, with somewhat tough meat. The desserts confirmed our disappointment. My partner's Paris-Brest looked homemade, but unfortunately, it was quite a failure. As for me, the crème brûlée, advertised as "homemade," left me perplexed. Its appearance was already surprising, with a very yellow color, but it was the response I received when I asked for it to be served lukewarm that particularly caught my attention. I was told that it wasn't possible because it would become liquid again. This explanation surprised me. A traditional crème brûlée, made with eggs, can usually withstand being slightly warmed without becoming runny. This is often a distinguishing feature of homemade crème brûlée, unlike an industrially produced product made with stabilized ingredients. I obviously can't definitively confirm the origin of the product served, but this response, combined with the appearance of the dessert, seriously called into question the "everything homemade" claim. More generally, we felt a lack of transparency. Before ordering, I had asked if everything was homemade and fresh, especially given the absence of the "homemade" logo on some dishes on the menu. The waiter assured me that everything was. Yet, in my Thai wok dish, the peas seemed to be canned and the shrimp were frozen. The manager then explained to me that the use of frozen shellfish was permitted under the Maître Restaurateur (Master Restaurateur) designation, which is true. I want to clarify that I don't question the freshness of the meat and fish, which certainly seem to be prepared fresh. However, the claim that the entire menu was consistently "fresh" and "everything homemade" didn't match what we actually found on our plates. The problem, therefore, isn't so much the occasional use of frozen or processed products as the lack of consistency between the marketing message and the perceived reality. Even some desserts or items in the gourmet coffees we saw on neighboring tables cast doubt on the truly homemade nature of the entire offering. Ultimately, between the numerous justifications, the inconsistencies in the messaging, and the unconvincing quality of the dishes, we left with the feeling that the "everything homemade" promise was largely exaggerated. The bill, however, was rather high considering the experience offered. For the same price, we believe there are much better options in the area.

24/05/2026: During my walks in Metz, I always stop to refresh myself at Le Vivier, a pub with a magical atmosphere. The drinks are served with lovely hands that gently touch the glass. I regularly enjoy a much colder vodka iced with ice cubes in front of the TV where they're showing the football game, and the music selection is perfectly chosen, like hard metal or hardcore rock 🤘🏼 🎸 I even surprised myself by dancing once! It's nice to still be accepted despite my advanced age… 👴🏼🏚️🗝️
