22/03/2026: Fantastic experience at Riva in Strasbourg! The atmosphere is friendly, festive, and truly enjoyable—perfect for spending quality time with friends or as a couple. The portions are generous, with a special mention for the flank steak. A huge thank you to Maxime, our server, who was absolutely amazing from start to finish: smiling, professional, and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell he loves his job, and it makes all the difference. Fast service, a welcoming team, a pleasant setting… everything is there for a great evening. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!

02/04/2026: Honestly, I'm still shocked by the attitude of the employee at this shawarma place. The guy is incredibly aggressive for no reason. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're bothering him just by existing. Even asking a simple question annoys him—he answers curtly, with an almost contemptuous tone. No sense of service, zero politeness, not a smile… just cold and sometimes downright unpleasant responses. It's like he's doing you a favor by taking your order. And then there's the food… it's awful. The shawarma is swimming in oil, to the point of being sickening, poorly prepared, with absolutely no care. Honestly, between the tense atmosphere and the catastrophic quality of the food, there's no reason to go back. A little respect and care in what you serve would be a good start.

02/04/2026: I had the misfortune of buying a meal at this establishment two days ago, accompanied by some friends who were simply waiting for me to finish. As another customer (Joude Omar) reported, halfway through our meal, the staff put constant pressure on us to order. They ended up yelling at us about using the power outlets, even going so far as to cut the electricity. They even complained that the price of my meal didn't justify me being seated at a table, even though the restaurant was empty. Unacceptable service: I will never return and I strongly advise against this establishment.

20/12/2025: Today, December 20, 2025, we left Montpellier for Clermont-Ferrand for the holidays. We stopped in Laissac for the baby because the highway was blocked by farmers. We stopped at this restaurant, which was initially closed. They let us in so we could feed the baby... they were so kind! Happy birthday again, have a lovely evening, and happy holidays!

14/06/2025: Pleasant and fast service. The maki and sushi were excellent. The staff is friendly and the food was well presented. The front of the restaurant isn't attractive, but don't be fooled by that, as the interior is cozy.

09/05/2025: I have been ordering here for almost 6 years and have never been disappointed. The salmon is always fresh, the skewers are excellent, and even the rice is well seasoned (which is rare!). Delivery is fast, orders are always well prepared, and above all, hygiene is impeccable: I have never had the slightest problem in all these years. You can't go wrong ordering here. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and rigor over the years!

16/11/2025: The pizza was good, but the crust was too thin, leaving us wanting more even with the "large" size. They don't accept credit cards, which is a real shame!

09/04/2026: I came for lunch this morning and the experience was mixed overall. The coffee was decent, but unfortunately the service wasn't up to par. One of the new young waitresses was rather unpleasant, with a cold and unwelcoming tone, which really spoiled the experience. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but a welcoming atmosphere makes all the difference. I hope this aspect will be improved in the future.
