23/01/2026: We went for lunch the day before they closed for vacation. We were able to bring our two dogs in, and the service was perfect throughout. We had a main course with dessert and a drink included for less than €20 per person.

09/01/2026: This establishment has a rather ridiculous sense of humor: - Waiter: "They're asking for a menu for two Cokes!!" he said to his colleague. - Credit cards accepted for purchases over €10, which isn't a problem in itself, but writing "for the cheapskates" on the back of the menu board is really pushing it. Not to mention a pint for €10 for a so-called "local" beer that tastes ordinary, even bland.

08/12/2025: A place steeped in history. The view is magnificent, but less important than the warm welcome and conversation with the owner. He told me about the history of the village, this café, and the photos on the walls. And the coffee was excellent. An unusual and incredibly welcoming place. Thank you for your hospitality. And I hope number 79 is drawn in the raffle!

20/12/2025: Today, December 20, 2025, we left Montpellier for Clermont-Ferrand for the holidays. We stopped in Laissac for the baby because the highway was blocked by farmers. We stopped at this restaurant, which was initially closed. They let us in so we could feed the baby... they were so kind! Happy birthday again, have a lovely evening, and happy holidays!

07/12/2025: It's a very good restaurant and I highly recommend it. It's a restaurant I'd like to return to again and again. This time I went for Sunday brunch, and the value for money was excellent. The service was attentive and the food was delicious and well-thought-out. The homemade potato chips, which are served in the evening, are especially delicious. I definitely recommend you go and try it at least once. The menu changes regularly, so you'll definitely want to return!!

20/12/2025: "Avoid at all costs! It's a shame we can't give zero stars." A disastrous experience. The hot dogs were truly awful; the bun was dry and the sausage was poor quality. The service was equally mediocre: you feel completely ignored. To top it all off, it's impossible to make yourself understood because the staff don't speak a word of French. This is unacceptable for a local business. Keep walking!

18/12/2025: A place I stumbled upon by chance! I knew the Schwartz chain for its burgers, but I didn't know they had this little fast-food joint specializing in hot dogs. Honestly, we loved it! The hot dogs are generously filled, and the nachos are very good too. Perfect for a quick meal in the Marais.

15/01/2026: I have read many negative and positive comments, but the people who are acting in bad faith, or because of a show that leaked their name but still boosted their image, and the people who continue to follow them to post negative comments, have a profoundly stupid mentality behind their screens. You entered through the restaurant door; if you are not satisfied, you leave through the same door.

15/11/2025: Visited recently on 11/14/25 Indeed, it's a small, dark, and rather disorganized dive. I've known this place for decades. But it also has a Scottish (or Irish) pub vibe where the people are friendly, and you hear English spoken very often. I've even gone there with my young daughters without any worries. The draft beer menu that day wasn't particularly British, but it was quite extensive.

10/12/2025: It's quite rare for me to leave a review, but unfortunately… The prices are excessive: the meat, with the sauce on the side, cost me €30 in total, and it gave me a stomach ache for three days, and I'm far from being sensitive. The garlic pasta was barely cooked. Regarding the service, nothing particular to say except that the menu wasn't explained to us, just a quick order. In the end, there was no receipt, and after checking, a difference of €5 to €7. It's not a big deal in itself—I can even pay €20 more when the service and food are impeccable—but it's a matter of respect for the customer. On the other hand, the next day I went to a brasserie called Oléa. And there, you can see the difference. I'll let you look up the name of the restaurant in Marseille: the reviews and ratings speak for themselves and perfectly reflect the quality of the place.
