08/07/2026: A very warm welcome. The meal was delicious and generous, and we were surprised by the price: salmon salad, dessert, and coffee for €11.70. I highly recommend it. A wonderful discovery!

10/06/2026: Least Irish pub I have visited for a while. It did have Kilkenny and Guiness but that and the name were the only Irish aspect. Food was a sloppy burger brought in foil from a neighboring restaurant (not sure which), no cutlery, US baseball on the TV and a server who was polite but probably couldn't find Ireland on a map.

07/07/2026: A really nice spot right on the oceanfront. In the height of summer, it must be packed! You can eat at a counter overlooking the sea. It's simply fantastic! The welcome is very warm and the staff are super friendly. The food is simple and delicious; they even have hamburgers for those who love them! Tapas too... The Eguzki beer is amazing... No wonder, it's a Basque beer... It's accessible for people with reduced mobility. And on top of that, there's music and a great atmosphere! The prices are very reasonable. So, I definitely recommend "Le Bistro du Mata" if you're looking for a nice place to have lunch while taking the time to unwind in an idyllic setting.

But what really impressed us was the service and the kindness of all the staff towards both humans and our four-legged companions. What a pleasure! Well done to the whole team, and don't change a thing. The food is just as good, by the way. Highly recommended!

17/06/2026: The café is a good size and has a wide selection of cycling products. The service is excellent. My wife and I left with a few things, and they gave me a delicious espresso on the house! I would definitely return on my next trip to Paris.

31/12/2025: Excellent welcome. Even when all the tables were taken, the owners took our mobile number and didn't hesitate to call us back to let us know a table became available. Furthermore, the coffees and teas were delicious, as were the cakes, all in a cozy atmosphere! We had a wonderful time in this friendly place. Congratulations to the whole team!!! :)
