29/03/2026: We had the pleasure of lunching at L’Envers du Décor in Saint-Émilion, and the experience was absolutely remarkable. Located in the heart of the historic village, this restaurant offers a warm and elegant atmosphere, perfectly in keeping with the unique charm of Saint-Émilion. The cuisine is refined, authentic, and flawlessly executed, showcasing magnificent seasonal produce. I chose the calf's liver, which was simply exquisite, perfectly prepared, and bursting with flavor. My wife opted for the fish of the day, which was also delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was accompanied by an excellent glass of local red wine, followed by a glass of champagne, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The wine list is outstanding, as one would expect in one of the most prestigious villages in the Bordeaux wine region, with some truly excellent selections from Saint-Émilion and the surrounding area. The service is particularly warm, attentive, and highly professional. We also greatly appreciated the very warm welcome extended to the Quebecers, which made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. A must-visit in Saint-Émilion for enjoying excellent cuisine in a charming setting. We will gladly return on our next visit to the region.

25/03/2026: A very good experience at this bistronomic restaurant. The service is excellent, it's popular with tourists, so we recommend making a reservation. The food is truly superb; the lamb was wonderful and tender, the desserts are homemade, and there were six of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The decor is very pleasant. High-quality French cuisine.

01/04/2026: The food and atmosphere are lovely! But the owner is a scoundrel! After paying €7 for a slice of cake I really do expect to be given a box for the leftovers. Especially as the restaurant is supposed to be promoting zero waste. After asking for a box, I was given an open/half-box; after asking for another one so I could close it, I was given a NAPKIN; after asking AGAIN, I was told that the box is an EXPENSE and that they can’t just give it away like that! So I was suggested to wrap it in cling film, which unfortunately blew away in the wind. To hear from a restaurant that giving a customer a standard takeaway box is an EXPENSE is really shabby and very unprofessional.

15/03/2026: A very good experience. The bartenders are very friendly, the place is pleasant, and there's a great atmosphere, especially during rugby matches. A minor complaint about the burgers: they're good, but the bun isn't great, and the bun makes all the difference.

13/03/2026: At Cottage Élysée, it's always a great night out! Once you discover this bar, it's hard to leave... and you always want to come back. The atmosphere is that of a truly warm pub, where you immediately feel at home. The servers are absolutely fantastic, always smiling, efficient, and incredibly friendly, which makes every moment even more enjoyable. And a huge thank you to Nico, the owner, who is a real sweetheart. Always welcoming, attentive to customers, and with a contagious good humor that truly embodies the spirit of the place. The drinks and food are excellent, perfect for a wonderful evening with friends. A friendly, authentic, and addictive bar in the best possible way!

12/03/2026: The owner is super friendly. He knows his wines very well and served us some very interesting vintages in a very pleasant atmosphere.

04/03/2026: It is a really cozy place, ideal to sork wit your laptop or read a book (they have like a library). They have one cookie that is gluten free (buckwheat, lemon flavour), but they cook everything together (cross contamination). My boyfriend said the matcha cookie and the coffee were delicious.

A good selection and catering to dietary restrictions, a melting pot where you can choose to work in peace and quiet or mingle with a diverse crowd in relative tranquility. A good selection of teas and coffees... and a very good selection of books from reputable publishers. Fresh, organic, local, vegetarian. In short, a quality spot for those who want to avoid the blandness of most places... a gem in Brest.

13/03/2026: We were taken to this wine bar by a colleague on our first night in Lyon. We sampled so many wonderful wines & sampled the wonderful tart & salad on offer. Christophe is so personable, fun and extremely knowledgeable and greatly added to making it a wonderful evening. Also good value for money. The wine bar is small but so worth visiting that we went back on our last evening. Thank you Christophe.

13/03/2026: I love this restaurant; the food is good, and the waiter is pleasant. The only downside: the seafood sauerkraut. It's not up to the standard of what the restaurant next door offers. It wasn't a generous portion: one mussel, one shrimp, half a piece of fish, and tasteless cabbage. A shame.

22/02/2026: Le menu du jour à midi est toujours un vrai moment de plaisir. C'est très bon, copieux, varié. Et pour 16€ on se régale véritablement. La présentation est soignée, on est très bien accueilli. J'ai trouvé qu'un verre de vin à 6€ est trop cher cependant.

22/02/2026: We were very lucky to get to visit it without reservation. We loved it!!! But the next day we wanted to go back and found it was full for the following 15 days!!! We hope to be able to visit it again next time if we ever come back to Besançon… And don’t miss the cookies, delicious!

07/03/2026: An entrance opens onto the street, leading under a beautifully decorated wooden roof adorned with string lights. The zucchini carpaccio with octopus is a delight! A superb atmosphere with soft background music.
