15/09/2026: Hello, I wanted to thank the staff for their very friendly, welcoming, and professional service. The restaurant was very clean and reasonably priced. I will gladly return to eat there, though I am still a little apprehensive.

13/09/2026: Awful experience. I went there this Saturday, September 13th, hoping to get something to eat. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by stifling heat and a musty smell. There were four of us, and we each ordered two €4.95 meals with two burgers. We had a choice between beef and chicken, and being avid athletes, we mostly opted for chicken. But when our order arrived after a 30-minute wait... THE CHICKEN WAS UNDERCOOKED AND COLD! We then went to the registers to exchange our burgers because, as you know, undercooked chicken can contain salmonella, a deadly bacteria. Imagine our surprise when the bald, bespectacled, and slightly bloated man told us, in the most disrespectful way possible, that it was simply chicken and that they wouldn't be exchanged. I am very disappointed with this experience and in order to avoid any further bad news I am going to call the health department to check this restaurant.

31/08/2026: Friendly welcome, excellent atmosphere, and on top of that, the food is delicious. A must-try! A great restaurant for families, it has a charming little corner with an old-fashioned school desk and games to keep children entertained.

17/09/2026: There are restaurants we enjoy, and then there are those that become associated with a memory we cherish for a lifetime. For us, Au Crocodile is now one of those. Celebrating our civil partnership in this iconic Strasbourg establishment, founded in 1840, wasn't simply an opportunity to discover a fine restaurant: it was choosing a venue worthy of a moment that meant so much to us. And the experience far exceeded our expectations. From the very first minutes, everything exuded elegance without ever feeling cold. The setting, the service, the structure and pace of the meal… everything was meticulously planned, yet never overly formal. We truly felt welcomed with a smile and genuine warmth. Sometimes these kinds of establishments can be intimidating for newcomers or young people seeking new experiences, but not here at all; we enjoyed an exceptional and personalized experience. And then there's the cuisine. Let's get serious! This is gastronomy that aims to impress, working with ingredients with remarkable precision. The dishes are refined feats, choreographed, generous in both emotion and quantity. Every detail seems to have its purpose. Special mention goes to the blue lobster, a true highlight of the meal. Its preparation right before our eyes, with the ravioli, the jus, and that finishing touch that transforms the dish into a veritable spectacle at the table, will certainly remain one of the most memorable aspects of our experience. This is exactly what I love about fine dining: when technique fades into the background, giving way to pleasure, and you remember a moment as much as a dish. As one of the restaurant's signature dishes, and rightly so, I am impressed and delighted to have been able to explore the full menu, having chosen the appropriate tasting menu. The wine pairing was sumptuous, but I found the non-alcoholic pairing for my wife a bit repetitive, though thankfully she still enjoyed it very much, and that's ultimately what matters! What I remember most is the restaurant's ability to transform a dinner into a veritable ballet. We came to celebrate something important to us. We left with an even more cherished memory. Thank you to the team at Au Crocodile (or Au Crocodile, I'm not sure which you prefer), for this exceptional experience, for the cuisine, for the service, and for the thoughtful touches that made a young couple so happy. A grand Strasbourg establishment, a truly great restaurant… and now, a place that holds a very special place in our hearts. We'll be back, perhaps even at the chef's table.

06/09/2026: A small update since the change of ownership: the foundation remains solid, and I've noticed a significant improvement in the fries (really excellent). Feel free to add a touch more seasoning to your meat (I'll ask next time if needed). I recommend it; it's still a must-try in Quimperlé.

06/09/2026: I ordered the poutine without extras, and it wasn't necessarily the best poutine I've ever had. I tried another poutine in Lorient before today at a different restaurant, and it was only slightly more expensive and much more satisfying. If you like meat, order the meat supplement; otherwise, it feels like you're just eating fries with a sauce that tastes like bouillon cubes, and the cheese is bland and tasteless. The fries were overcooked and a bit tough. You're better off driving a little further to the one in Lorient and enjoying it. However, the service was friendly.

22/07/2026: A desperate stop in 35 degrees temperatures and they let us wait inside as we were 3 minutes early before opening 😜 The beers, staff and the music play list was brilliant 🤙 They even played a track I requested 🤙🤙🎤😎 Coming back tomorrow!!! On our second visit just as good and great Planche mixte !!!!

07/08/2026: Where to begin? The dishes are prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The menu is reasonably priced, the service is pleasant, I recommend this place to everyone, it's top-notch! I recommend it without hesitation.

07/08/2026: Wandering through the narrow streets during our visit to Vézénobres, the fig capital, we stumbled upon this oasis of freshness, a delight for both the palate and the eyes. A true treat! Warm welcome, very affordable menu, and generous portions. I highly recommend this establishment for a most enjoyable culinary break.

25/08/2026: We had a great time on the terrace. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

11/09/2026: During every stay in Limoges, we have lunch there as a family :-) Excellent cuisine, excellent service, excellent value for money, very pleasant and comfortable dining rooms, perfectly set tables—in short, everything for a perfect lunch or dinner. And a special mention for the lunch menu, which changes weekly and offers delightful discoveries each time. Bravo and thank you to the kitchen team, and thank you also to the waitstaff for their professionalism, friendliness, and discretion. We hope to see you again soon :)

An ideal setting for relaxation. Chef Estelle is exceptionally kind and caring – pure bliss! Highly recommended.

15/05/2026: This gym is one of the best I've tried in France! And I've tried quite a few! Best value for money: €13 entry fee for two climbing areas with perfectly set routes and a kilter!!!! Absolutely nothing to complain about! We'll be back ❤️

10/05/2026: A great place to learn, and even more depending on your skill level. Several climbing walls are available for all ages. Food is also available on site. Really excellent.
