I was invited to lunch today.
What a pleasant surprise!
A truly warm welcome.
A beautiful, inviting, and comfortable dining room.
Impeccable service (and in white shirts).
A varied menu and an excellent meal.
It's delicious, it's beautiful, and it's expertly prepared.
Coffee with a small madeleine—simple but so delightful.
I had lunch at a Restaurant with a capital R.
Thank you.
24/01/2026: Food arrived before beer.
Guinness was served in a regular glass, pretty bad for an Irish pub.
Food arrived cold. Fries were tiny, like matchsticks.
There was no music. It felt like a funeral. The toilet was decent.
The waiter was actually very friendly, but rather slow. Drinks and ketchup were served by a regular customer instead of the waiter himself.

19/09/2024: Bon restaurant avec un personnel à l’écoute et disponible. Les choix sont variés et les assiettes copieuses. La qualité c’est grandement amélioré ces dernières années. Je recommande.
27/08/2024: Personnel très accueillant et disponible. Nous sommes arrivés à la limite de la fin du service et pourtant l’accueil a été très chaleureux.
Les plats sont très copieux, très bien présentés et savoureux.
Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Nous reviendrons sans hésitation lors d’un prochain passage.

13/12/2025: The service and food were perfect, but this morning it was almost as cold inside as it was outside. A little warmth would be welcome for both customers and staff. Heating in winter, especially considering the price of the service, should be the bare minimum to avoid shivering.
