22/08/2026: They haven't changed the opening hours. We walked all the way from the castle just to eat here, and it said it was open. They haven't bothered to update the hours. There's a sign on the door saying it's closed from August 9th to 24th. Everyone has the right to a vacation, of course. Nobody's judging that. But the least they could do is update the online schedule, which is where everyone checks it. Especially when you're closed for so many days.

12/08/2026: A lovely place to get rejected by your bread. My only reservation is about the man I was with, but the cakes themselves were delicious and comforting (thank goodness). On the downside, they were so large and took so long to eat that it created a very awkward moment after my declaration of love. He offered to pay for my share, but I'm an independent and proud woman, so I paid. I'll definitely be back (alone) when I've regained some dignity.

16/08/2026: Hello, yesterday my husband and I went for a drink. The glasses were stained inside, the dishes were poorly washed, and to top it all off, we witnessed a huge, very violent argument between employees. I do not recommend this restaurant.

23/07/2026: A loyal customer since they opened, I can say I've never been disappointed. I order very regularly, almost every day, and the quality is always consistently excellent. The sandwiches and salads are fresh, generous, and truly delicious. What I particularly appreciate is that everything is prepared in front of the customers with fresh ingredients. It's reassuring and shows the team's dedication. The establishment is always clean, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Even when it's busy, orders are prepared quickly without any compromise in quality. It's become a must-visit for me. The consistency, the freshness of the products, and the professionalism of the entire team deserve to be highlighted. I highly recommend it! 😀😀😀😀

27/07/2026: As always, for the second time I'm here, everything is very good, food, service and quality, 20 euros parking ticket, they give you a parking ticket, first, second and third, very good, tasty enough, shower, you pay two euros separately, there is a very nice grandfather who was in the legion, he accommodates and welcomes you and the atmosphere is very nice, you can take a walk somewhere, there is an alley down, it passes by the vineyards of a chateau nearby, the alley is two and a half kilometers and at sunset it is very nice, quiet and cool, even at the end of July. I wish you all success and a pleasant holiday.

23/07/2026: Based on other Routier restaurants in France, Mily Metre is a big step ahead. The owner is always smiling and ready to joke, and the restaurant is full of good-humored guests. The menu offers a daily menu, à la carte dishes and pizza. Draft beer is €3, and the daily menu is €17.50 (starter, main course, dessert, wine and water). If you want a good piece of entrecôte, you have to pay another €4, which I think is completely justified. The showers are clean and cost €2, and the toilet is neat and clean. The parking lot is lit and safe. The only small complaint is the enormous amount of dust in the parking lot. If colleagues (not all of them, of course, but those who rush in as if they were driving a Formula 1 car will be recognized) had a little more respect for the guests on the terrace and colleagues who sleep with the windows open, they would enter slowly and there wouldn't be so much dust. Best regards to the staff and the owner, until we meet again!

Extremely rare vinyl records everywhere (Lou Reed, Tom Waits...) and an amazing atmosphere, quality alcohol (Japanese Nikka) at very reasonable prices, and above all, such friendly and welcoming staff and management. We had a fantastic, timeless evening. I'll be back every time I'm in Paris. Thank you a thousand times over! ❤️❤️❤️

01/09/2026: I'd been wanting to come to this place for a long time; it's very well located at the foot of the Butte-aux-Cailles. A bright and cozy spot, we thoroughly enjoyed a Caesar salad and a superb chicken dish. You can enjoy both a more intimate setting inside and a more convivial one outside with large open tables. I'm really looking forward to going back for a coffee at lunchtime or a drink in the evening. The staff are lovely and welcoming; kudos to them!

27/08/2026: Albion is undoubtedly the most English-speaking pub in Bourgoin. If you want to have a few beers with friends, watch a rugby or football match, or enjoy a Guinness or an Irish Kilkenny ☘️ (for tourists), it's the perfect place. However, it's much less ideal for a family meal. You order via a QR code, pay upfront, and are even asked for a tip before being served. It's more like a McDonald's with table service than a true pub-restaurant. The flank steak, ordered rare, arrived cold. The burgers were decent, but still very much in the fast-food vein. It's up to you to decide if the concept appeals to you or not.
