01/09/2026: I'd been wanting to come to this place for a long time; it's very well located at the foot of the Butte-aux-Cailles. A bright and cozy spot, we thoroughly enjoyed a Caesar salad and a superb chicken dish. You can enjoy both a more intimate setting inside and a more convivial one outside with large open tables. I'm really looking forward to going back for a coffee at lunchtime or a drink in the evening. The staff are lovely and welcoming; kudos to them!

03/08/2026: We enjoyed the food and the choice of dishes for the Sunday brunch at Sevi à Table. The service was a bit slow in August as the organization had just changed, but the servers were very friendly and we had a pleasant time. Be aware that it's best to avoid the veranda on hot days; we asked to have lunch on the terrace to get some fresh air.

02/08/2026: An extremely disappointing brunch! Upon arrival, I was told that, contrary to what the website and my reservation stated, it would actually be an à la carte brunch, not a buffet, and that I had apparently been informed by phone (no way!). The servers, while very kind and helpful, were not good: they didn't understand the drinks I ordered, even though they were listed on the menu (the "flat white," for example), they didn't serve the correct dishes (I received salmon instead of scrambled eggs, for example), and, most importantly, they left me an hour between each course without paying any attention to me. The food was really subpar: the plates were poorly presented and not suited to an à la carte brunch with so many courses, resulting in a lot of waste! The cold drinks were tasteless (probably bought from a supermarket and full of ice), and the hot drinks were poorly made (the "flat white" wasn't actually a flat white). Basically, I booked a brunch buffet, but what I got was a poorly served brunch at the table, with disappointing food and mediocre service. And all that for €40 per person!

27/08/2026: Albion is undoubtedly the most English-speaking pub in Bourgoin. If you want to have a few beers with friends, watch a rugby or football match, or enjoy a Guinness or an Irish Kilkenny ☘️ (for tourists), it's the perfect place. However, it's much less ideal for a family meal. You order via a QR code, pay upfront, and are even asked for a tip before being served. It's more like a McDonald's with table service than a true pub-restaurant. The flank steak, ordered rare, arrived cold. The burgers were decent, but still very much in the fast-food vein. It's up to you to decide if the concept appeals to you or not.

09/08/2026: A fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service is truly top-notch: a welcoming, friendly, and attentive team, genuinely dedicated to customer satisfaction. The food is also excellent, with high-quality ingredients, flavorful dishes, and beautiful presentation. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the food is prepared with care. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it!

16/09/2026: The restaurant is pleasant, but the same old problem persists with order processing and preparation. Even outside of peak hours, it seems the staff is already overwhelmed with the low volume of orders. Otherwise, the food was good. The only thing missing is a closed restroom.

14/09/2026: Unfortunately, the manager displayed a very rigid attitude. Despite providing numerous documents proving my student status (timetable, contract, transcripts, etc.), he refused to accept them, insisting that a student ID card was absolutely required. I find it regrettable to adopt such a robotic approach instead of demonstrating a modicum of understanding and flexibility in what is clearly a legitimate situation.

18/09/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent, the service friendly, and the welcome warm. It's the kind of restaurant we wish we could find more often. We loved the octopus and the veal. Special mention goes to the pavlova for dessert. Good value for money.

04/08/2026: Wonderful hotel, old school vibe. If you can get a room with the Lake view, it is worth it. The food is great and fairly priced.

22/08/2026: We had dinner Friday night at L’Âne Rouge in Saint-Cyprien, right across from the port, and we had a wonderful evening! 😊 We chose tapas platters, with all the ingredients and preparations being homemade. Everything was truly excellent, flavorful, and beautifully presented. 😋 You can taste the quality and care that goes into the dishes, and we enjoyed every bite from start to finish! A fantastic place that we highly recommend, both for the food and for the atmosphere and setting overlooking the port. ❤️ We will definitely be back!
