26/03/2026: A restaurant decorated with newspaper front pages depicting the deaths of various celebrities—you could say it's a bold choice for a pleasant dining experience. Not to mention the broken TV screen—not very professional. But hey, we weren't there to watch TV. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. The manager's welcome is as cold as his burger buns. Furthermore, seeing a potential customer ask if there's room to eat (when the restaurant is empty), and the manager's sigh in response... You quickly realize what you're getting into. For that price, I would have liked to enjoy my meal. One thing is for sure: I won't be back.

09/05/2026: Every time I visit Paris, I make sure I come here. This time, I specifically came to have my birthday dinner. C’est parfait, comme d’habitude!

02/05/2026: An absolute gem of a restaurant, the jewel in the crown of the 11th district. Fresh produce sourced locally, exquisite wines from artisan winegrowers across France, friendly staff who provide helpful advice on the numerous wines available by the glass. I prefer sitting on a high stool at the zinc counter, right in the heart of the action, but there's also a terrace to while away a long summer evening or to sneak a cigarette with a glass of Gamay. Wines by the glass to suit every budget and taste, a full wine list with hundreds of references from little-known winegrowers to stars of renowned appellations. Even if I only have a few minutes, there's always time for a small plate of Comté and a glass of Jurassian Chardonnay.

23/05/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience at La Pépite last night. There were three of us, and not a single dish was up to standard. I ordered a completely tasteless meat dish, the kind you'd find at home with no effort whatsoever. My friends had a wok dish without sauce, dry and frankly awful, as well as pasta with a cold burrata. After sending it back to the kitchen, the dish came back reheated in the microwave… the burrata had exploded on the plate. The worst part? The price. We paid an arm and a leg for such mediocre quality. Clearly a restaurant to avoid. The only positive point of the evening: the view. Thankfully, it was there to somewhat redeem the experience.

22/05/2026: I've been coming to this restaurant for several years. The prices had already gone up quite a bit in recent years… my favorite goat cheese salad is no longer on the menu. I ordered the Caesar salad with crispy chicken. First of all, it wasn't healthy, and one of the main ingredients—the avocado—was black and stringy… it's impossible for the chef not to have noticed… I pointed it out to the waitress, who seemed completely indifferent. So, at €24 for a salad, that's unacceptable. Very disappointed.

22/05/2026: The service is adequate, but the fries seem to be on a very strict diet… The bags are rarely full, and sauces or napkins are often missing from orders. It's a shame; the experience would be much better with a little more generosity.

09/05/2026: Fourth visit to this market. Another culinary adventure, this time with an Afro-Caribbean theme. Tasting a beef mafé. Each stall had its own unique aromas, making it difficult to choose. But no regrets about our choice.

31/03/2026: My wife and I have driven past this chocolate factory for years, always saying we'd stop next time. This year we finally made it happen, and it was a fantastic decision. Such a wonderful, creamy, and uniquely flavorful explosion of taste, triggered by a hot chocolate, was a truly exceptional moment of indulgence. What's more, we were able to enjoy it together in the beautiful, tastefully decorated café. The icing on the cake was the owner's offer to let us finish the pot of leftover chocolate. We bought some pralines and enjoyed them that same evening as dessert—absolutely delicious. A glass of Otard Extra 1795 Cognac completed the perfect indulgence.

02/02/2026: An excellent crêperie with generous galettes. The desserts are just as generous. Impeccable service from the owner, who is always smiling and welcoming. Her husband is in the kitchen; he's the one who delights our taste buds. It's definitely worth the trip.
