21/03/2026: I was walking around the neighbourhood and decided to stop by what used to be the Shannon River Pub, where I spent many years as a regular. The place looks tidy and well presented, and while it’s no longer the pub I once knew, that’s simply part of how places evolve. Unfortunately, the pint I ordered (a Carlsberg) was very disappointing. From the first sip, the flavour was clearly off and quite unpleasant, to the point that it almost triggered a gag reflex. Even though I was quite thirsty after a long walk, I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. It felt as though the beer lines might be in need of a proper cleaning, as the taste was far from what one would normally expect. A shame, as the venue itself seems otherwise pleasant.

26/03/2026: A restaurant decorated with newspaper front pages depicting the deaths of various celebrities—you could say it's a bold choice for a pleasant dining experience. Not to mention the broken TV screen—not very professional. But hey, we weren't there to watch TV. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. The manager's welcome is as cold as his burger buns. Furthermore, seeing a potential customer ask if there's room to eat (when the restaurant is empty), and the manager's sigh in response... You quickly realize what you're getting into. For that price, I would have liked to enjoy my meal. One thing is for sure: I won't be back.

19/10/2025: Finally, an establishment that lives up to its claims!!! Neat decor, friendly welcome and excellent cuisine. We discovered this restaurant by chance, and the detour is worth it, we can't wait to return in a few months to discover the terrace and the rooftop!!!

07/10/2025: A pleasant surprise this summer at this establishment where everything is homemade. I enjoyed the main course and the small tapas. The sweet note disappointed me a little, but that doesn't take away from the work done by this establishment.

10/03/2026: Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered the signature burger thinking it would be a safe bet, but it was incredibly dry. I couldn't finish it because of the meager amount of toppings and sauce. It was difficult to eat almost nothing but a bun, which was slightly burnt in places, and a patty. The fries were also a little overcooked. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the fries either because I was out of ketchup. I had also specifically requested a napkin by checking the option on the website, and there wasn't one in the bag. If I hadn't checked my takeout order before leaving, it would have been a real problem. It's a shame, but it was the last time I'll be at this restaurant. Further to the restaurant's response: no, there was neither a cutlery set nor a napkin in the bag, so I didn't receive "an extra napkin," but only one, which I had to request. Then, I returned the mayonnaise... only to exchange it for ketchup, so again, it wasn't an extra sauce... which is why the overall experience wasn't up to par. Please be more careful in the future when preparing takeout bags. I would also like you to remove my full name, which you revealed in your response.
