We tried several establishments in St. Lary, and our favorite remains, without a doubt, "Au Balcon". 19/03/2026: Excellent spot for dinner with friends (upstairs) or a romantic dinner for two (downstairs). Rugby and football matches are shown on a large screen, depending on the schedule. Very nice food and wine list. Everything is fresh and delicious. Special mention for their Caesar salad, which is FINALLY made with the original recipe. Good wine list. Friendly and efficient service.

26/04/2026: I just had lunch with my family on the terrace, thanks to a reservation made by my daughter who lives in Toulouse. I wasn't disappointed at all; the service was impeccable, professional, and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and, most importantly, delicious, from the appetizers and shellfish to the meat. Everything was cooked exactly as we requested. To complement the meal, the wines we tasted were perfect. All this for a reasonable price for a Sunday in Toulouse. I will definitely be back. Reservations are essential.

The food was excellent, the dessert was delicious, and the Poignée de Syrah wine paired nicely with the meal. We had the Poulet Voyageur and Bol des Alpages, followed by a wonderful apple pastry-style dessert with whipped cream. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home-cooked style meal away from the typical tourist spots.
