17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

23/04/2026: Arriving late with my wife and children, the owner was very understanding and welcomed us (for the sake of the kids 😀). The Normandy burger with Camembert was excellent! 01/05/2026: Appalling! We couldn't access the hotel with a horse van – the hotel offered no solution. We were charged for our room and forced to find another hotel. Double whammy! Appalling, they refuse to refund us, no apologies.

29/04/2026: The hotel is very well located in Aix, close to all amenities. It has been tastefully renovated and, above all, the staff are wonderful, from the housekeeping to the dining room and reception staff. They always have a kind word and a thoughtful touch! It's the only hotel I've stayed in so far where everyone is so incredibly friendly.

22/05/2026: Great kebab, really very good. I'm only giving it 4 stars because, yesterday when I got home, oh, surprise: a hair in my fries. I continued eating and then, a second surprise: a hair in my sandwich. I didn't have the energy to go back and take it back. It kind of ruined my appetite.

Regarding the food, there was only one problem: the octopus was cooked without any real flavor and had a "mushy" texture... not what one expects from grilled octopus (and no, people from Auvergne aren't used to eating "mushy" octopus... I'm from Auvergne myself...).

24/04/2026: The cozy atmosphere is a sure thing! I love eating fish there. There are often two or three fish dishes on the menu, and they're beautifully presented in the way they're cooked. Plus, you can tell they're made with fresh ingredients. The dessert selection is original and delicious. One small suggestion for improvement: I would have liked a bit more fruit in the dessert options, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it (proof: I couldn't resist taking a bite before snapping a picture!). 27/04/2026: Great place to watch matches: several large screens are well-spaced, so you always have a perfect view no matter where you're sitting. The atmosphere is really great on match nights; you can tell it's a place designed for that. A slight downside, though, is the prices, which are a bit high compared to what you'd expect from a typical pub. It's still a good experience, but better suited for special occasions than for going all the time.
