18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.

11/12/2025: I came a few months ago and the service was truly appalling; this time it was the same. No smiles and the politeness left much to be desired. I don't understand how the team wasn't better briefed, given all the negative feedback regarding their friendliness and customer service. I think a serious review of their approach would be beneficial.

08/12/2025: When we arrived, there were no more potatoes (which I can understand, but it wasn't even 9 pm...). It's a shame, because because of this, we had to pay more by buying them individually. And why? No menu was available because of this shortage. We'll remember to go directly to the counter next time (if there is one...) to ask for a discount. Oh! Speaking of which, many of the sauces were also unavailable. What a shame. Now, let's talk about the food. The tenders were good, no complaints there, and thankfully so, because that's why we came. However, my daughter's burgers weren't very generous. A tiny piece of tender fighting for space with a minuscule slice of cheddar... could be better. My brother-in-law, on the other hand, ended up with a rather... unusual burger. A slice of cheddar decided to make a run for it and live its best life ON THE BUN, I tell you. My sister, on the other hand, ended up with ice cream with a stale topping. And my wife got a random topping that didn't match what she'd ordered. What's more, she didn't get her drink right away when it was finally served, which forced her to get up again. The service was reasonably adequate, but the staff could be a bit more cheerful. I understand that a potato shortage can be disheartening, but even the smallest smile is nice. In fact, the place was rather sad. Almost deserted. I can't wait for the potatoes to come back.

29/10/2025: We ate well, but it was very difficult to make ourselves understood, and the menu hadn't been updated in ages. The atmosphere was rather dull, with the same music playing constantly. And there were only two other people in the room.

07/11/2025: Every time we're in Bollène, a stop at La Flambée is a must for us. We love it. From the friendly phone service to the smiles when you arrive, the pizza is simply divine. I highly recommend it.

22/12/2024: We had lunch in the little nook under the stairs with my little dog (the best spot!) 👍👍 It's such a shame it's been sold 😡 because the owner is a perfect reflection of his establishment, and the owner in the kitchen is simply a culinary whiz! Even the dog got some pâté as an appetizer—it was just fantastic! Hopefully, the new owners will keep this old-fashioned bistro concept, which is all too rare these days. 13/12/2025: I was able to order a taco meal at this fast food restaurant. The order was ready at the requested time. The taco was good, but nothing special. The manager is very welcoming and friendly. He also accepts restaurant cards. Now I just need to try the kebabs for that fifth star.

The decor is refined and elegant, with a truly cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The tea room is calm and pleasant, perfect for chatting, relaxing, or simply enjoying the moment. You feel comfortable there, almost like at home, with that little something extra that makes you want to come back. You go in out of curiosity, and you leave wanting to return very soon.
