25/05/2026: Hello I'm writing to leave a review because we stayed at the hotel on May 22, 2026, for two nights, but we were very disappointed. The rooms were dirty, with cobwebs and seagull droppings all over the windows. We were on the 4th floor, so the cleaning staff had access to clean a yellow stain on the headboard, and the price of €410 for two nights shouldn't even be that high. There was also a major problem with the key. Every time we wanted to get into our room, we had to go through reception, not to mention the time a gentleman had to come and bring us a new key. We paid extra for a better view, but instead, we weren't even placed in the center of the hotel; we were put at the far end, so we were practically at the end of the sea. Very disappointed. Avoid this hotel; it's far too expensive for the quality.

14/09/2026: Do not go there if you do not speak fluent French. The service was particularly poor; we had to wait longer than the French guests, at least an hour. They also didn't come by to ask if we wanted anything to drink, and we weren't shown a menu. Guests who arrived half an hour after us had their food earlier; in fact, they were already gone before we got ours.

11/09/2026: What more can I say! Perhaps a little frustrated that I couldn't have dessert, because after the appetizer platter and main course, comes the guilt-inducing moment of worrying about the calories consumed! The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was good. Next time, it will be a main course and dessert without the appetizer platter :)

04/09/2026: Café du Soleil, a Ferney institution where we were regulars, was suddenly in for a surprise. Ordering a spritz, in keeping with the grand tradition of aperitivo, we were brought fries and mayonnaise without even asking. We thought it was included with the drink, like in Italy, but when it came time to pay, I realized it wasn't. This rather unpleasant practice left a bad taste in our mouths and will force us to find another place for our aperitif next time.

30/08/2026: I was very pleasantly surprised yesterday by the place, the clientele, and the staff. Excellent service, friendly staff, and a lovely encounter on the terrace. Their kindness and helpfulness are quite rare and deserve to be highlighted. I highly recommend it!

23/09/2026: This place has potential: the food is good and the setting is very authentic. It's a shame the service doesn't live up to it; you don't necessarily feel welcome. The portions aren't very generous, especially for the price. Would I go back? No.

22/09/2026: Average service, unfriendly and unhelpful waiters, very small portions, overpriced, €8 corkage fee per bottle… I don't often leave reviews, but I have to this time given the hefty bill at the end of dinner. Luckily, the food, the atmosphere, and my friends were great to make up for the meal, but personally, I won't be back.

31/08/2026: High-quality traditional cuisine in very generous portions; the delicious desserts are well worth the trip. The staff is very attentive yet discreet. An excellent restaurant in Avoriaz that we highly recommend. Thank you again for your warm welcome and helpfulness.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A Savoyard restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and perfectly suited to cheese lovers. The raclette is particularly enjoyable, generously portioned with high-quality ingredients. The 100% Wagyu pierrade is a delight. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere very welcoming. An ideal place to spend a lovely time with family or friends. And the decor is very charming! I highly recommend it! Everything is delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts. And the wine list is a treat for connoisseurs!

11/08/2026: Came here a few times in one day while staying at hotel close by waiting for airport. I dont know what all the bad reviews are for the experience was very pleasant to me. The food was fresh the outdoor seating was very good and the service from any staff I met was excellent.

24/07/2026: Excellent service, delicious food. Special mention for the farm salad with its goat cheese purses from the region, and a very thoughtful touch to change the water carafes so the water was always fresh throughout the meal. Thank you for everything.

22/08/2026: It's a shame, there are some good products, but far too many flies. The tables were dirty, frankly, avoid it. The outside is filthy, I won't even mention the inside, and the prices are exorbitant.

The bartender concocts superb cocktails and is happy to advise you, particularly on the signature creations. For a starter, try a Bloody Mary, uniquely flavored with an excellent truffle aroma from Maison Sébalcé, a supplier to restaurants since 1966. Then, savor a platter of sausages and cheeses, including a summer truffle gouda—simply divine. Finish your evening with a lemon tart cocktail, another original creation. In short, head to Les Oubliettes, the home of cocktails forever.
