A very warm welcome with very warm staff.
The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and the Wi-Fi is of good quality.
Very good restaurant with seasonal cuisine and fresh produce. Special mention to the chocolate dome and its extraordinary salted butter caramel!
03/09/2024: Great restaurant, everything is good, the lady who served us is very nice. We had our dog and he was accepted without any problems. The clementine prawn salad is excellent and the sirloin tenderness. The dishes are plentiful. Thank you.

15/12/2024: We enjoyed the daily specials and the foie gras burger. The dishes are well prepared, the ingredients fresh and quality and the portions generous (homemade fries ++++). Gourmet coffee is VERY indulgent.
08/12/2024: Very good time spent last night at this restaurant! Homemade cuisine, very smiling and friendly servers. For a first visit to Saumur, it makes you want to come back! I highly recommend!
PS: only small downside, I would have loved a little homemade sauce for the fries instead of sticks, but that's to be choosy! 😊

Well done to this team.

The little cafe area is nice.
The only problem for me is that I was lucky or unlucky, a batch of not very crispy croissants among a batch of fresh ones from the scale and 2 from the window.

01/09/2024: I knew this pub in the 2010s, after a few years of absence, I returned. The place remains authentic, the bartender as friendly as the old ones, the decor has not changed and the atmosphere plus the clientele remains at the top. Only downside, but good because you have to find fault, the sausages are no longer what they used to be, I still recommend the charcuterie and cheese board. Next review in 10 years...
Otherwise the beer is wonderful
