12/03/2026: I really like this bakery, which is located near my work. However, I find it lacks variety. I often go to check if they have the Caesar salad or the pasta salad, and I haven't seen it lately! I also once found a bacon and crème fraîche tartine, but they haven't made it since. It's a shame, it was delicious.

16/02/2026: The bread is delicious, but I think it's a shame to pay €1.50 for a seeded baguette when there aren't even any seeds inside...

14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

15/02/2026: Pleasant experience, lovely and attentive staff who answer the phone when needed. The homemade breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend it. Clean room, clean and comfortable bedding, towels provided. One small detail: bring your own shower gel as there isn't any. The air conditioning was set to 24°C, we were cold during the night, and we wanted to take a bath but couldn't fill the tub as there was no hot water. A pleasant place to stay, I would gladly return. Thank you to Francis, his wife, and their staff.

23/09/2025: Our server was truly charming from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, professional, friendly, and very funny. I promised to come back to leave a tip because it was impossible to withdraw money from the ATM for some obscure reason. Unless it was to come back and have a pleasant time at Henri's Tavern :)

18/09/2025: My wife and I stopped in for a quick beer and wine, and made instant friends with the patrons and owner Henry! We highly recommend a visit when in the area!

07/12/2024: We were on a road trip and stopped to La Bourse located on the town central car park. This can be an advantage to keep an eye on your car and goods inside. The food quality was correct. The place is nice and clean. However, we never got served for the entire meal we ordered for, but paid for it as it was a course formula. Unfortunately, the 2 attendants were not numerous enough to serve everyone they accepted in the room. We spent two hours awaiting for the rest of our meals and decided to leave. The attendant apologized and showed poor respect for the manager/owner of the place who does not really care for the good operation of the restaurant and the business ethics. I strongly recommend to avoid La Bourse restaurant.

02/03/2026: An incredible experience that I highly recommend to everyone! A traditional mountain restaurant, accessible only by snowshoe/hiking or cross-country skiing, which is part of its charm. Without running water or electricity, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and truly impeccable service. The historical insights shared during our meal made all the difference! We will definitely be back next year!!

16/02/2026: It's not good, I don't recommend it. The service is slow and the pizzas are cooked to a crisp, with a charcoal taste.

16/02/2026: Very, very mediocre... Not worthy of a restaurant. Keep walking. For the details: Kids' menu up to age 5, so by deduction, at 6 you're an adult. Frozen nuggets. Frozen fries. The pizzas... Tomato sauce straight from a big can bought at Promo Cash or Metro, probably with pre-seasoned oregano. After this nice industrial base, let's move on to the toppings where the cheese has no flavor, and the ham is even worse. All this on a bland, undercooked crust. Incidentally, I'm still waiting for the bread I asked for at the beginning of the meal. The waitress's exaggerated friendliness doesn't make up for everything, far from it...

21/02/2026: It was very good. The food was excellent and the service quick, but not friendly. I would have liked more dessert choices, particularly something with chocolate. My only true complaint is that they doubled the price of my wine on the bill. Instead of charging me 3 euro a glass, which is very reasonable in Strasbourg, they charged me 6 - which is ridiculous. I suspect they did this because although I speak good French, I have an English accent. I doubt this would happen to someone with without an accent. So French people - enjoy! Foreigners - attention!

05/03/2026: I'm a regular; the food is excellent and the pastries are very good, especially the cookies. Everyone is very friendly and it's inexpensive compared to other places. One of my favorite spots in Pau.
