14/09/2024: Je ne connaissais pas ce restaurant mais des amis nous ont invités en juin ; le cadre est juste magique , la cuisine excellente et raffinée. Que dire de plus sinon que nous y retournerons lors de nos prochaines vacances dans le sud.

03/12/2024: Very cool! We went there for brunch. This was the first one I made and it makes me want to make more! The dishes available were very varied (there is something for all tastes), coffee, orange juice is unlimited which is very appreciated. Small downside on the available space because we were very crowded at the table and having a stroller, we didn't really have the possibility of parking it somewhere. But I would happily come back!

24/08/2024: J’y suis allé un midi. Commande aux bornes simple, service rapide et correct, personnel sympathique. Par contre il faut revoir l’entretien du restaurant !!!! Lampe tombée scotchée sur le mur, mur détérioré, WC limite hors service vasque sous film plaque de commande presque HS, tables non nettoyées ,sol collant et les canapés sont tachés… dommage le repas était bon manque juste d’épice pour donner un vrai bon goût.

This was already the case 15 years ago. I recommend 100%.

By arriving on time and eating it 5 minutes later.⁸
Since the previous owners left, I no longer recommend coming here at all, several relatives have had the same problem.

06/07/2025: Papy Joe in Lorient: a huge disappointment, even as a takeout.
I had fond memories of this restaurant, but this takeout order really put me off. The burger was bland, uninteresting, a far cry from the delicious recipes of yesteryear. The fries? Reheated leftovers, hard as cardboard, despite a cheddar sauce meant to enhance the flavor.
The most regrettable thing is to see how much the quality has declined. Before, there was more choice, burgers crafted with original flavors. Today, we're far from that.
Result: 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries, 1 brownie, and €43 for a frankly mediocre experience. Avoid, even for a quick order.
01/07/2025: I ordered via Uber Eats, having fond memories of Papy Joe's, they've obviously changed their menu and the quality as well. Burgers are much less tasty than before and the "cheddar fries" are soggy and without any cheddar in reality, they taste like a low-end cheddar sauce...

19/12/2023: Les plats étaient tous délicieux, avec un équilibre entre les saveurs qui frôle la perfection.
Le vin de Gascogne était lui aussi très juste, fruité tout en étant sec.
L'atmosphère était tranquille et chaleureuse.
Nous avons passé une excellente soirée !
