26/07/2026: A word of advice: TURN AROUND! We came for drinks and a snack. We shouldn't have. So we ordered: a latte, a decaf, and being a tea lover, I naturally ordered a tea too. Negative points: The dishes were dirty, barely washed… there were dried coffee stains on the spoons and cups, the decaf was incredibly bitter, but the tea! It tasted awful, like it was several years old, which wouldn't surprise me given the rather yellowed bag… after some research, I found my answer: it was a cheap, low-quality "Lord Nelson" tea from Lidl. Probably expired. And when I see the characteristics of this tea, I immediately understand the problem. The latte was undrinkable… If the drinks are already awful, there's no point even questioning the quality of the food! 🤮 Anyway, we saw people ordering food… and they didn't even finish their plates! The only positive point: The young waitress, who was very smiley and kind. Sure, the prices are affordable, but if you're going to eat and drink disgusting things, it's not worth it. We won't be back! 😤

26/07/2026: We were looking for a restaurant to eat at before heading home (end of vacation), and we stopped at this restaurant. In all the years we've come to Argelès, I'd never thought to stop here. It was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed the fresh ingredients, and the waitresses were very pleasant. We'll be back. Thank you.

29/05/2026: As for the bartenders, no complaints: they do their job very well 👌 The drink prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, a major negative point concerns the security guard at the entrance. Upon my arrival, as I was simply about to enter, he grabbed my arm and asked, "Where are you going?" Uh… just to have a drink, that's all 🤨 I completely understand the importance of security: ensuring everyone's safety, preventing disturbances, controlling entry… it's normal and necessary. But there's a way to interact with customers. A calm and respectful exchange would have been more than enough, without any aggression or haughty attitude. People come to relax, have a good time, and unwind, not to be greeted this way. It's a shame, because this kind of experience unfortunately gives the establishment a bad image. I sincerely hope this point will be taken into account, as there is clearly a better way to interact with customers while remaining professional.

11/07/2026: So, overall, good/very good value for money. As for the food, I only ordered one dish; it was quite good, a bit too garlicky for my taste, and the vegetables were already getting cold when it was served. I'm not sure, but I think the plates weren't reheated. Aside from that, the meat was cooked as ordered, and they made an effort with the presentation. The service itself was good, but unfortunately, I had ordered a Pinot Noir with the meal, and it wasn't served until I reminded them. Mistakes happen. Apart from this "incident," everything was fine with the service, and the waiters were pleasant. The atmosphere is more restaurant than brasserie, although if I understood correctly, they have a "brasserie bar" area without food service, so that's something to consider. In any case, the "restaurant" area is large, with mirrors everywhere, and quite nice. All in all, I'd give it a 16/20.

It's a shame because the reputation was built on this consistently superior quality. When you bought it, you knew you were in for a treat; that's no longer the case today, despite the prosperity. So, growth or croissants and other treats?

27/06/2026: A little disappointed with my taco; there was no cheese sauce, which is essential for a taco to be called one, and my fries were soggy and brown… probably a problem with the cooking and the oil level. The service was great and the atmosphere was cool, it's a shame about the food.

12/06/2026: Friendly welcome, kebab meat was okay, but the fries were inedible, burnt, and soggy. €14.50 for a kebab plate is a bit much, once but not twice.

10/05/2026: I love Chaud, it's just a classic and it's right down the street from me. The maxi panetto steak with white sauce and homemade Gruyère is incredible. I highly recommend it; you'll cry over the sandwich, eat Chaud!!

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful time. The staff were discreet and friendly, and the homemade food was excellent. I highly recommend the cheddar bacon bun—it's absolutely amazing—and the chocolate mousse was delicious. All this for a very reasonable price in a charming setting that was perfect for the heat (with misting systems installed outside everywhere)! Don't hesitate :)

18/06/2026: I ordered a smoothie, and of course, they made me pay before I even got it. The waiter, dripping with sweat, struggled to blend the fruit. He handed me a pot of poorly blended purée. I pointed it out, and he just shrugged and said, "Ah." Well, that's it, that's definitely the last time I'm going back there. €6 for tasteless, unblended fruit purée... keep walking

16/05/2026: Honestly, it was a disaster. I ate there and a few hours later I had severe food poisoning: stomach pains, nausea, and I couldn't sleep all night. I don't know how they store their food, but something was clearly wrong. Plus, the hygiene of the place didn't inspire confidence. First and last time for me. Be careful before eating there.

21/06/2026: It's a shame that the website says they're open continuously, but a sign at the entrance confirms they're only open from 10 am to 9 pm in June, when the kitchen stops serving at 2 pm. And no recommendations for places to eat with two young children, which isn't great, especially since it seemed like a really nice place.

12/06/2026: A real hidden gem! 🥳 Delicious food and the beer was ice-cold and fresh. The staff speak good English. Update from the next day: the burger is also super tasty, and the service was even faster than the first time! 😄

06/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at Les Délices des Neiges in Font-Romeu! A warm welcome and a truly friendly owner. You immediately feel at home. The products are fresh and homemade, and you can taste the difference: everything is delicious and prepared with care. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Font-Romeu. We'll definitely be back!

06/03/2026: After a long walk, we wanted a quiet place away from the main street. A lovely terrace, away from passing cars... good coffee and delicious pastries! The owner was very friendly, and the products were fresh. I recommend it.
