28/03/2026: So, on a Saturday afternoon at 3 pm, there was practically no one there, but there was a wait to be served... Plus, it was cold, the fries were definitely from this morning, and to top it off, there were potatoes mixed in with my fries... And the tray was dirty.... On the other hand, there was a great atmosphere behind the counter, I won't deny that, they were having a good laugh!

18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.

22/03/2026: Every time I come, I'm treated poorly. This will be my last time here. Today we waited over 15 minutes for takeaway coffees even though there were barely 10 customers on the terrace and only 4 staff members... The girls preparing the coffee are unpleasant; you don't feel welcome. It's expensive and not great. That said, thank you to the very friendly, smiling waiter who was very apologetic and attentive.

22/03/2026: It was a Sunday, we wanted to have a drink and a pastry, but they kicked us out simply because we weren't having brunch. Their attitude was unacceptable.

15/03/2026: We were kicked out before we'd even finished eating, just to make room for others and make money! Tiny burgers for the price. Very disappointed.

14/03/2026: The waitress was great but the owner kicked us out of the table explaining that it was reserved (which we knew because the waitress had already told us) but as we were leaving he immediately seated other people even though we hadn't finished our drinks.

12/04/2026: Nice restaurant area, very scenic setting by the river and in view of the chateau. Difficult to find as there is no signage on the main road or in the small lane. The music ambiance is a little old fashioned and could be a little more upbeat! Food was good with well balanced dishes and nice presentation! A small problem with the wine was handled very professionally and discretely. We would definitely return!

18/02/2026: I ordered a mojito and was given a glass full of water with large ice cubes that made the water level rise considerably. Tasteless and far too expensive for a glass of water.

01/02/2026: The prices are too high... Quick tip: Don't arrive close to 9 pm because they'll make you wait. Why? Because after 9 pm there's an extra 50 cents per drink! Unbelievable.

05/04/2026: I had anticipated the problem by ordering two chickens for 12:30 PM. Upon arrival, I couldn't find the order: I spent 30 minutes repeating my name before it was finally located… And then, I was told the chickens weren't cooked. So, I ordered at 12:30 PM and left at 1:15 PM. Once seated, I was in for a nasty surprise: the chicken was pink in places, clearly undercooked. On the phone, they quoted me €29 per chicken (€58 total), but at the register, they charged me €61. It's not a huge amount, but added to everything else (the delay, the disorganization, the cooking), it adds up. A disappointing experience; we'll go somewhere else next time.

01/04/2026: Good service; even when there are minor oversights, the staff do everything they can to correct mistakes quickly. The restaurant is quite clean and is starting to offer entertainment for children. One of the best in the 94th district.
