03/08/2024: Atypical room, we find ourselves in a pirate tavern!
Super nice decor, the atmosphere was also there. The entry is "filtered" to try to maintain a minimum of security.
On the negative side, I will say the price of the evening.
Paying €11 for a glass of rum, while everywhere else it costs between €6/8 a glass, that makes a big difference. (I'm talking about a particular rum, because there are cheaper ones, but all of them are almost more expensive than elsewhere)
The price is not justifiable, and for an outing with friends, the budget quickly explodes, which is a shame.

05/04/2024: They have no garden and terrace, although they are present in the advertisement, small but clean and well-maintained rooms, educated and friendly staff.
01/04/2024: The staff are always keen to help. La Villette is not the best part of Paris but if you want to stay there this hotel is fine as a tourist hotel. Like all Parisian hotels the rooms are small, but we were okay with that.

Too bad the service is deplorable with a waitress who throws the coffee on the table and spills half of it and doesn't even apologize 😕
10/10/2024: Excellent, efficient, and my grilled meat was succulent 🤤 and home fries. Thank you for this lunch served with homemade Bernaise sauce. A full restaurant is a sign of having a great time 🙂 keep it up.

16/08/2024: We had a takeaway meal, the New Yorker and the children's menu were very good except for the burnt onions which we had to remove from our sandwiches, a shame because it was really burnt/black so the person who made the sandwich took it away. obviously saw it when putting them on.
We waited more than 30 minutes and the people who arrived after us were served before (A person from the establishment came to apologize).
Beyond these 2 points, once again it was very good.

04/07/2025: Hello, a few days ago I went to McDonald's and there was a woman in a red shirt who was yelling at a teammate who was eating fries. I was honestly shocked by her behavior. Are these the working conditions at McDonald's? I'm very disappointed 😢 I just felt sorry for the young girl.

08/07/2025: Nous avions réservé une table à 19h30, nous sommes arrivées à 19h40. Nous avons essayé plusieurs fois de commander sans succès. Quand un serveur s'est enfin présenté, il était 20h10 et nous avions raté le happy hour. Le serveur, embêté, nous a dit qu'il ne pouvait rien faire. Nous avons demandé à parler à la personne en charge qui était derrière le bar et qui a été extrêmement désagréable, refusant de reconnaître quoi que ce soit et nous parlant mal. Nous sommes parties sans consommer après avoir attendu plus de 30 minutes.

Go elsewhere closer to Châtelet. The quality/price ratio is better
