11/07/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit. The portions of fries were really tiny; it felt like they were counting every single fry. The burger also lacked sauce and was quite dry, as if they were trying to cut corners on ingredients. It's a shame, because at that price, you expect more generous portions and a better-prepared burger. I don't think I'll be back.

05/05/2026: We ate there on Saturday evening, received an excellent and very warm welcome from Bruno. We couldn't eat outside, but the food was very good. The ravioli and bavette steak were superb. We will definitely return, highly recommended!

13/07/2026: We had a very pleasant dinner. The food was excellent and the portions were sufficient. The place is a bit hot in summer time, but they provide cold water.

12/07/2026: We loved this place! It’s such a cute little spot in Nice’s old town with a great atmosphere. We had the beef cheek stew and the gnocchi, and both were incredible. They don’t take reservations anymore only walks in so show up early to get a table.

18/03/2026: The staff is very friendly and the service efficient. The food was very good, but I must point out one negative aspect: the cleanliness. I didn't feel comfortable at all, having to clean the chairs myself after they were covered in grease and food. I should mention that we were the first customers of the day. The floors also left much to be desired. Overall, it's acceptable, but there's a significant need for improvement in the cleanliness of the dining area. I certainly hope things are better in the kitchen...

09/06/2026: This was our first time at the Yule Log as a family. We received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The host gave us helpful advice, listening to our feedback. We enjoyed the game (though our daughter didn't, as she kept losing). The beers were good and the food was quite decent. The only downside was that some of the tapas, like the ribs, were difficult to share while playing. We didn't try the downstairs rooms; we'll do that next time. Thank you to the whole team.

10/03/2026: A lovely little neighborhood bar/restaurant. The menu is short and changes very regularly, and everything is homemade. The Thai-style steak tartare was excellent!

15/07/2026: We enjoyed our meal and the food was good, but unfortunately, the way the bill was handled spoiled the experience. Both desserts were included in our set menu, with only a €3 supplement per dessert. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged the full price for the desserts instead of just the supplement. When we pointed this out, we were told there had indeed been a mistake and an initial correction had been made. However, upon further review, we realized that part of the amount owed had still not been refunded: €6 was still missing. That's €12 in total... So we had to go back a second time to claim the full difference. What's particularly disappointing isn't that a mistake can happen, but the fact that we had to insist several times to get a proper refund. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share this experience. The food was good, but a bill should be checked thoroughly and transparently. I therefore advise customers to check their bill carefully before leaving.

13/09/2025: Friendly welcome, cozy and pleasant setting. Fresh and well-cooked products. The surf and turf starter was to die for, the monkfish cheeks were superb, the chocolate caramel ice cream mousse, and the strawberry cappuccino were excellent. A truly wonderful experience.

27/06/2026: Disappointed with my experience. I ordered a slice of beef on toast for €16 and asked before ordering if the beef was cooked. I was told it was, but when it arrived, the meat didn't match what I'd been told. As I don't like raw meat, I couldn't enjoy the dish. I find it regrettable that no compensation was offered despite the misinformation. I expected at least a solution or some kind of acknowledgment from the restaurant.

24/06/2026: I am absolutely delighted with my experience at Mets Mots! The service is attentive, the staff are friendly, and the setting is beautiful. The quality is truly exceptional, and the price is very reasonable. No long wait, and everything is spotless!

15/07/2026: I ordered two lunch menus at €12.90 each, pointing to the chalkboard menu that featured them. They took my order. When we got to the till, they told us, "No menus on public holidays"... Great, wouldn't it have been more honest to say that when we ordered? 👍🏼 EDIT: Thanks for your reply, chat gpt 😑 The problem isn't paying the right price; you clearly saw that I said I'd take the menu while pointing at the chalkboard... just say so directly or remove the chalkboard.

02/07/2026: Both the appetizers and the main courses were delicious. I came here by chance while following in Van Gogh's footsteps, and I had a great meal.

08/05/2026: I prepared a click & collect order using my points, but when I went to pay, it didn't go through, so I went to the store directly and explained the problem. A cold woman told me she couldn't do anything. After that, I placed my order, and the wait was quite long. I picked up my order, but they had given me the wrong drink. I went back to tell them, and they explained that the drink I ordered was out of stock and that they had given me something else as a replacement. Why not mention this when giving me the order? I only ordered a kids' meal, a taco, and some tenders. When I got home, I checked the order, and the dessert from the kids' meal was missing. For such a small order, this is unacceptable! I had to go back. One small positive point: at least the man took it seriously when we told him the dessert was missing, so he gave us a double portion since we had to drive back.

29/04/2026: The establishment is always very well maintained in terms of cleanliness and the staff are always helpful. The ingredients in the sandwiches are always very fresh.
