14/04/2026: For a €57 order, we asked for an extra barbecue sauce and they charged us for it… even though we just wanted to exchange it for a creamy sauce we had left over. The service at McDonald's has been declining lately…

25/10/2025: A very charming hotel in an incredible location, I really liked it. The area is also incredible and very beautiful. This establishment has its own history, and I love the wood.

07/10/2025: I arrived the last day before the hotel closed last week. We were 10 customers, almost all cyclists. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley, it is really impressive. The service was good and nice, and the room was nice as well. It would merit a 5 star, but the reason I give a 4 star is the price. It was too expensive for the quality it gave. But I might come back to explore the valley.

06/04/2026: The staff was incredibly unpleasant, no greeting whatsoever, just plain rudeness. But on top of that, the quality was truly lacking. The meat was cooked hours in advance and kept warm in frozen containers – nothing fresh. It's beyond the pale... And the pressure of not saying hello is no excuse. Besides, you can go to most of the reputable kebab shops in Grenoble, like Mendo Mekan, Mivan, and La Maison du Kebab, despite the much larger crowds. Their meat is cut directly on the spit. This new trend of speed—cutting beforehand and keeping it warm, repeating the old ways several times—is mixing with the new. And it's the same with your pre-cooked steaks; it's ridiculous, and you're not the only ones. 92% of customers prefer to wait a bit and eat properly rather than be served immediately. This really needs to change. It's a shame, otherwise it's clean, but really not professional. Making money is good, but pleasing the customer in the process is better, I think.

06/02/2026: Hotel closed in 2026. Here is the email I received today following an inquiry. It doesn't clearly state whether the closure is permanent or not. "Dear Sir/Madam, We regret to inform you that the Cosmos Hotel will not reopen for the 2026 season. We would like to sincerely thank you for your loyalty over the years and for the trust you have placed in us. Your support of the Cosmos has greatly contributed to its history and success. Thank you again for your understanding and for all the moments we have shared. Sincerely, The Cosmos Team"

02/04/2026: Thank you to Riwan for his welcome at McDonald's Cesson-Sévigné. Furthermore, when I went through the drive-thru, he took my order perfectly on the first try without me having to repeat myself. The 5 stars are for him, to highlight his professionalism. I went on April 1st, and no, it's not an April Fool's joke, but the fillets were very good 😃

29/03/2026: APPALLING, There are no other words. We came specifically to try the new Mario Galaxy sauces. Even at the drive-thru, the person didn't understand the order at all. My partner picked it up, and one of our drinks and a fry were missing. Everything was served cold. He had to go back inside to get the rest of his order. But the icing on the cake! When he got home, there were no sauces at all!!! I called, and they basically told me, "Sorry, you can come back, we'll give you the sauces and an ice cream for free" (nice, eating sauces with ice cream). I expressed my dissatisfaction, and they told me that basically they wouldn't give me a refund because the order was pretty much correct (lol), and that it was basically my partner's fault for not noticing the missing sauces. So yes, I'm sorry, but you don't need a PhD to read what to put in a bag for an order on a chart! And the person insisted that she had put the sauces in and that she was certain! Lovely evening, and we eat at 10 pm! Avoid at all costs

19/02/2026: Well, there's not much positive to say... Nothing works! Plenty of self-service kiosks, okay... They're incredibly slow and filthy. Even when McDonald's is almost empty at 2:30 PM... it's still not fast. And the worst part is, McDonald's is filthy, the tables aren't cleaned even though there's hardly anyone there. Finally, the price is high considering the tiny portion of fries crammed into that kind of fry container; it's nowhere near the same size as a medium in Switzerland. Yet the price is the same. At that point, you might as well eat at Autogrill or suck on the gravel in the parking lot!

11/02/2026: We ordered a McFlurry, they served it half full and without the extras, and when we complained they sent us away!

01/03/2026: Very bad, the staff are grumpy, no smiles, the sandwiches have no sauce, and the meat is barely cooked and served cold.

18/02/2026: The worst McDonald's in the world, seriously. The wait was insane, there was no organization, orders were mixed up, and the staff were lost and unpleasant.

03/03/2026: Very friendly waiters, very pleasant atmosphere, prices are reasonable for the quality of the food

25/02/2026: Always a warm welcome. Weekly set menu at €21: starter + main course or main course + dessert. The menu includes an amuse-bouche. Quick and efficient service. My favorite place to stop when I have meetings or business lunches in Chartres.

26/03/2026: A wonderful discovery this evening, a place that brings us closer to the sea, since we don't have it here in Alsace 😅 A very warm welcome and excellent service, a very pleasant atmosphere with background music that adds to the ambiance, something that's becoming rare in restaurants. We enjoyed some very good food this evening, we'll be back because it's a truly great place, thank you! 😊

19/01/2026: Passing through Reims, I discovered this restaurant. The welcome and decor were friendly, the chicken bagel was amazing, the cookie for dessert, the artisanal drink, and the price was reasonable. So I'll be back soon with friends.
