12/04/2026: McDo de Tavers très décevant !!! çà n'est pas une 1ère concernant ce McDo et toujours même problèmes : service bcp trop long et à chaque fois, il manque quelque chose ou erreur de commande complète ! L'erreur est humaine mais quand elle se répète systématiquement çà n'est plus une erreur mais de l'incompétence. On a le droit à un "désolé" et on vous remet ds le sac le sandwich sans compensation (manquement, attente +++ ...). Bref, c'est très moyen !!! Dernière expérience début avril 2026 : encore 1 oubli de sandwich. On me dit que "non" tout figure dans le sac. Je finis par tout enlever devant tout le monde et on finit par me dire "ah, oui, effectivement, il manque un sandwich". (rires ds l'équipe McDo qui s'en amuse) J'ai l'impression vraiment de déranger et on me parle avec dédain. Extremely unpleasant, and not the first time this has happened at this McDonald's. I get home and my daughter finds a cheeseburger WITHOUT CHEESE!!! Same for my husband's! As for me, I ordered a cheeseburger without ketchup => result: with ketchup! This is REALLY unacceptable, and it's been going on for far too long! The responses given to customers regarding reviews are always the same (bordering on sarcastic and barely acknowledging responsibility. A blatant display of bad faith that promises change but never comes!). Disrespectful to customers in several respects (food, service, cleanliness...). What a SHAME! Thankfully, BURGER KING is opening very soon in Baule, so goodbye to McDonald's Tavers (unprofessional!!!! Probably the worst McDonald's in France) and hello to the new location that will actually prepare and serve the sandwiches we ordered :) Goodbye McDonald's Tavers Hello BK :)

21/07/2026: My boyfriend and I went there one night because no other bar was showing the football match we wanted to watch. When we arrived, the man who served us was very friendly. The sign said they made cocktails, so I ordered a caipirinha, but he said they didn't have any. Then I ordered a margarita… a huge mistake on my part… the worst margarita I've ever had. I absolutely do not recommend it. I drank it and left the glass full. It was truly awful! We didn't go back during our stay. We ordered a charcuterie board, and it wasn't good either. I definitely don't recommend it; there are many other bars nearby that are worth visiting.

13/06/2026: Passing through the city center and bumping into some friends, we decided to have a drink on the terrace, which is well laid out but a bit noisy and with a significant pedestrian crossing – something that needs improvement...

21/07/2026: A disgrace! We waited 30 minutes, from 11:30 PM to midnight, without ever receiving our order. We finally had to go into the McDonald's to ask what was going on. They told us they had only received one order, when they could have at least prepared the others. The result: an endless wait, no clear explanation, and above all, no compensation. Very disappointed with the service. Avoid at all costs!

20/07/2026: A mistake at the till, no receipt given, requiring a return trip to have the bill corrected… Then dry burgers, a small portion of undercooked fries. Considering the prices, the quality is definitely lacking. At that price, I'd rather pay €5 more at a local restaurant and eat quality food with proper service.

26/12/2025: After two cancellations without apologies or discounts, we finally managed to eat at the restaurant. The dining room was poorly heated, and we were cold all evening. The meal was good, but nothing special for a Michelin-starred establishment. Other restaurants in the Gien area are worth recommending; they are less expensive, better, and offer more elaborate menus.

30/11/2025: The lounge bar of my student days...1977/1982...it was the place to be in the Plum district for night owls...cocktails, mega ice creams, club atmosphere...it's sad that this nightclub is closing soon.

19/10/2025: Extremely disappointing! We were at a student event between two cities, an event we'd been planning for a long time with the bar, and on the day, they didn't open the dance floor in the basement (and there wasn't enough room for everyone). Each time, they told us they'd open it soon, but in the end, it wasn't even open at the scheduled time (they opened around 12:40 AM instead of midnight). Eventually, the students got fed up and left the event. This is a complete lack of customer service and respect.

18/07/2026: We were a group of eight people: four adults and four children aged four to seven. We arranged our own table, but our drinks took half an hour to arrive (the cocktail contained old, rotten mint leaves). After being repeatedly ignored by the very unfriendly staff, we escaped to the pizzeria across the street. What a shame.

14/07/2026: The staff are super friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great.

14/07/2026: A terrible experience! During our visit, we received a very poor welcome. The waitress had a disdainful attitude and spoke to us disrespectfully. Despite having already ordered, we were asked to leave. We left very disappointed by the service and the atmosphere. We do not recommend this establishment and prefer other bars like Delirium or Caliente.

25/06/2026: I really love this bar, which blends tradition and passion. I highly recommend it for any student night out. Well done! The waiter and waitress were fantastic 👍 Special mention to Canelle and Noémie, who are amazing waitresses. Would it be possible to get the Snapchat of the waiter named Hugo, please?

06/07/2026: First visit to the bookstore since Yelen took over. Thanks again to her for her kindness and helpfulness! The decor is lovely, and there's a good selection of books. We had a great time enjoying a delicious milkshake 😊 Highly recommended!

04/07/2026: A beautiful bookstore, with a very helpful and attentive bookseller. The children's and toddlers' section has been greatly improved. The milkshakes are refreshing and the muffins are excellent. Don't hesitate to visit or revisit the bookstore. There's been a change of ownership, and it's been a wonderful discovery.

12/07/2026: Super quick, welcoming and attentive staff. No complaints about our meals, and parking was easy.

12/07/2026: Stopped on Friday evening, July 10th, to eat on the road. It's a disgrace! Three young men working in appalling conditions, without air conditioning, without supervision? At least, no one was seen helping them! And yet they don't complain and try to do their best. The waiting time is unbearable; what else can they do? The state of the dining room... of course, they don't have time to clean it! Overflowing bins everywhere, dirty trays piled on every table, the state of the outside, SAME! Even worse. I don't understand how, in this day and age, three young men can be allowed to work in conditions like this on a Friday evening, during the peak travel period. They should be shut down and protected, but of course, that costs the big bosses money!

16/07/2026: Really bad, the cappuccino tasted something other than cappuccino and the aperol spritz was watery..

24/06/2026: Indeed, 5 euros for a cappuccino that has absolutely no merit.

21/03/2026: The restaurant service needs to improve a lot. Since honhabagafat TRYO has nothing to do with the excellent service it had years ago.

21/03/2026: An incredible end-of-season day with magnificent weather. The fire pit was amazing, far from overpriced for a resort, but absolutely delicious. Hats off to the cooks!

13/05/2026: Honestly, there's nothing to say. If you're a bettor, you absolutely have to go to Longchamp. With its authenticity and history, no tobacconist on earth can rival it! If you call yourself a bettor and you've never been to Longchamp, you're NOT a bettor!

12/03/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! I was relaxing on the terrace with a friend, having a coffee. Important to remember for later: the café was empty. A friend happened to join us five minutes later to get a coat. This greatly irritated the café's "manager," who expressed her annoyance by throwing ashtrays on the tables around us and even going so far as to throw my friend's bag on the floor. Furthermore, she just kept stewing next to us, making it perfectly clear that we were not welcome in her shabby café. She practically threw us out. We paid for our coffees, and to our surprise, the price displayed was incorrect. Avoid this place; head instead to Café Le Mistral, just 10 meters away.

03/03/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop, very good products; for me, it's the best bread in Saumur, and the same goes for their pastries. The service is pleasant, and they always think of the little ones by giving them a small cream puff, which isn't always the case in bakeries. I highly recommend it.
