26/09/2024: Group evening. Excellent meal. Listening staff. I recommend.

24/09/2024: Being on vacation we came to dine at your establishment with friends. Before the meal we wanted to have an aperitif with possibly a charcuterie board. We were told that it was not possible, that there was no possibility. The tone was not pleasant. The unpleasant and welcoming person arrived with 4 small pieces of very hard bread with a semblance of fish rillettes. We had aperitifs + main course + dessert (gourmet coffee) + glass of wine. The food was very good. We left a pretty slate. Very disappointed with the welcome of the person, the service

15/12/2024: Restaurant that you absolutely must discover. The dishes are excellent and the service impeccable. All products are fresh with a beautiful presentation. I would add that the pancakes served in the afternoon for young and old are delicious without forgetting the mulled wine to comfort the hikers after the tour of the lake.

04/12/2024: Perfection: pleasant but simple setting, relaxed but respectful welcome, refined but complete menu, simple but excellent products, careful cuisine but without unnecessary frills. Thank you for allowing us to escape burgers, pizzas and other fried steaks by offering us an Auvergne that is both modern and traditional.

18/09/2024: Mediocre restaurant. Sardine rillettes served in the box. Chicken supreme makes it a small industrial thigh with cold industrial sauce… And we took what was available… Brief…

31/08/2024: To avoid absolutely.... We went with 4 people who were really very disappointed 😞 meal not up to par despite not being complicated dishes, on the other hand pancake at the top. Taste more or less good. Personally I don't recommend... On a personal level, smiling, but that’s all.

Et la nourriture est de très bonne qualité, pour ne pas parler du café, que c'est comme en Italie. Un gros bravo à vous, je reviendrai avec plaisir.

22/09/2024: A dear friend of mine had highly recommended Le Bar à Vin. We attempted to go there twice. The first time, we thought they were closed because the corner looked like an entrance, and it was closed. I'd say that I'm not too with it, but the second time we went, the same thing happened to someone else. They really should have a sign pointing to the entrance, which is pretty nondescript. So, we finally make it in and there are two people ahead of us and the venue is not full. It took us over 40 minutes to get seated, by then, the line just continued to grow. There were only two ladies waiting on the entire venue. There was a lady at a counter for shipping wine orders and another man, maybe the manager, walking around from time to time. Without a doubt, they were understaffed, but honestly, if no one is buying or shipping wine and you're the manager, pitch in!! Our waitress was nice enough and shocked when we only stayed for one tasting. Clearly, it's a place where people go to linger, but it definitely, at least that day, is unable to accommodate its clientele. A bid disappointment especially since there are many other such venues to relax and enjoy in Bordeaux!

16/09/2024: We had high hopes for this cheese and wine tasting, especially after queuing for 20 minutes just to get in. The wait gave the impression we were in for something special, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. The main seating area looks charming enough, but we were led to what can only be described as a drab, old-school canteen setup. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable, making it hard to settle in for what should have been a relaxing experience. Things went from bad to worse when we ordered. We were told they had run out of every cheese except goat’s cheese—which was ridiculous, given it was only 6:30pm and, more importantly, we were in France, the home of great cheese! How can a place hosting cheese tastings run out of cheese so early in the evening? To make matters worse, the wine menu didn’t offer any guidance on pairings. While our waitress was friendly and tried her best, it wasn’t enough to salvage the experience. The whole thing felt underwhelming and far from what we’d expected. To top it off, they served nutty bread without checking for allergies, which seemed careless, especially in this day and age. Overall, this tasting was absolutely not worth the visit. Save your time and money for somewhere more deserving.

22/09/2024: There is one of the waiters who I think has a real sociability problem, getting involved or getting too involved in his work, which needs to be reframed quickly, I think, which is causing him to lose a lot of customers with his habit

19/08/2024: Entrance very good Main course a disaster especially the meat not very knowledgeable the cook or he wants to win on that Decent dessert The waitresses are overworked and poorly organized and nothing to worry about from customers. Really disappointed

04/06/2024: An incredible experience. Lost in the countryside, a chef and his team perform an extraordinary magic trick for an hour. Fresh products, daring recipes, and sophisticated trompe-l'oeil. Everything is excellent. Two appetizers, starter, main course, dessert, an extraordinary cannelé with coffee, and a small chocolate cake as a gift for the road. We didn't touch the alcohol, due to the road, but the cart invites you to taste it. Thank you for this moment of pure pleasure.
