03/05/2026: Hello, while passing through the area we stopped at McDonald's. The staff were pleasant, our meals were perfect, the salad was impeccable, I thoroughly enjoyed it, very crispy. Finally, the hygiene was impeccable, very clean. Truly, in 30 years, this is the first time in my life I've seen a McDonald's this great. Other McDonald's should take note! Thank you to the staff, you are superb! 🤩🤩😊👍

01/05/2026: It's unacceptable to see this! The staff give us the wrong sandwiches. We only realize it after we've started eating. We unwrap it without eating it, take it back, and the guy takes it back, puts it back on the sandwich shelf to be given to another customer. We could have touched it or something, and the guy would have served it to someone else. Absolutely no respect for hygiene! Avoid this place!

10/06/2026: Delicious meal, with the €1 option including a small galette – a nice touch. However, I asked if they could charge my phone as I wasn't local and had a long drive ahead of me, and they told me it was forbidden. A bit surprised.

05/06/2026: A bit disappointed, having left there without checking my order, and what a surprise when I got home to find one fry missing from my meal...

19/05/2026: I ordered via click & collect. The order was completely wrong; the three drinks were all the wrong ones... a hamburger was missing, and everything was cold. Furthermore, the hamburgers were extremely poorly prepared... a huge amount of salad per hamburger and practically no sauce.

29/04/2026: The sausage platter was appalling, the service was terrible... but to top it all off, they don't accept credit cards, and of course, it's written down in such a way that you can't see it! Avoid this place if you don't like being treated like an idiot.

26/04/2026: Avoid at all costs, the manager is extremely unpleasant and openly mocks customers (snickering etc) as if we were walking wallets.

31/03/2026: 9:30 PM, no one at the self-service kiosks, 5 customers in the restaurant. 20-minute wait, cold burgers, cold nuggets, cold fries, no sauce for the fries even though I ordered it, no napkins... avoid at all costs. I've never had a 280 so cold and so bad in the restaurant. Even driving 30 minutes home to a decent McDonald's drive-thru, the burgers were less cold.

29/03/2026: The service at the drive-thru was disastrous; don't hesitate to warn the customer if they're giving you trouble, it'll speed things up.

26/04/2026: We came in today for drinks with friends. The waiter arrived and dropped the tray of drinks onto my friend's sweater, and a glass landed on the floor. The waiter then placed the dirty glass from the floor back on our table so we could drink from it. We told the waitress that the sweater was stained with Coke, but she responded arrogantly and didn't believe us. They then went to wash it in the dirty bar sink? Having worked in a bar myself, I find this quite inappropriate and unprofessional. To top it all off, after asking for another glass, which arrived still dirty, they said, "With apologies, €17.50, have a nice day." Even the young waitress seemed embarrassed by the rather unpleasant situation.

21/03/2026: The staff were not friendly at all. Absolutely not! A disaster. They were unpleasant to people on the terrace. In short, don't go there.

25/11/2025: I love Subway, but please update your hours. I arrived on a Saturday at 7 PM, and online it said Subway closes at 10 PM. As a result, I arrived, and it was closed. This happens very often, so please update your hours.

22/05/2026: Frankly, I'm not at all satisfied with my experience at McDonald's. The order took forever, even though there was hardly anyone in the kitchen. They called me to pick up my order when it wasn't even ready, and I had to wait even longer. On top of that, I ordered a meal and some nuggets, and they gave me everything in a simple little bag, not even a proper bag, even though it cost me almost €20. At that price, you expect a minimum of care and professionalism. The prices have become very high, and the service is completely lacking. It's really disappointing. I don't recommend this experience. The colder the fries... You tried to keep my review from being published online; I'll try again. Thank you for allowing me to exercise my freedom of expression. I haven't damaged the brand's image; I'm simply telling the truth.

18/05/2026: Drive-thru this morning around 12:30 AM: The blonde employee with glasses was extremely unpleasant. I ordered a €5 ice cream with barely any topping, simply asked for a little more, and she curtly replied that "I'm only entitled to one scoop," as if I were asking for the moon. No smile, no professionalism, not even a goodbye. If the job bothers people this much, perhaps they should avoid customer contact altogether. Paying this price to be treated like this is shameful.

23/05/2026: The staff were very pleasant, and the restrooms were clean, unlike some of the tables... Otherwise, everything was fine.

21/05/2026: It's shameful, the staff were insulting each other in front of everyone. I sat at a table and it smelled like pee. Seriously shameful, the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

02/05/2026: The Smart Menu is €7! While the one in Hérouville is €5 for a small chicken and a small cheeseburger. They're thieves! Normally it's €5, and here it's €1.50 more! Photo 1 is the one from Mondeville because I don't have the Hérouville one anymore as proof. And I can confirm that this one is indeed the one from Carpiquet! And the second photo...

30/04/2026: Disappointed by the lack of professionalism, the unfriendly and indifferent team. 15 minutes to pay for my drive + 15 to get my order. I was the only customer, no rush. For the wait, I asked for 2 luxury sauces, apparently inventory tonight, and they refused while laughing. It seems that customer satisfaction and management are not a priority in this place.

02/06/2026: A croissant in name only... Bland, no butter, undercooked, and all for €1.50! Avoid at all costs...

22/05/2026: I've been coming to this bakery for years, but hadn't been in for a while... Today I decided to get breakfast and lunch, remembering the products, admittedly a bit pricey, but of good quality... Imagine my surprise when, just by looking at them, the pastries looked like they came from a supermarket... €2.50 for a pain aux raisins!!! I also got a pain au chocolat and a sandwich... Over €10 for everything... I haven't tried the sandwich yet, but the pain aux raisins had the texture and taste of a day-old pastry, and the pain au chocolat... Well, I ended up with a croissant (great...) and it was so bland... Honestly, I almost never leave negative reviews, but considering the price, ending up with products of lower quality than in a supermarket is infuriating, especially since the products used to be so good!! I'll see if I go back for their sandwiches, but as for the bread and pastries, I'm not likely to shop there again!

19/04/2026: Avoid this place! It's excessively expensive, doesn't accept credit cards, has a limited selection, and the products are questionable. A person at the next table ordered mussels, and they smelled very strong. She didn't eat any.

09/04/2026: I'm very disappointed with my visit to this small restaurant. I was served a Caesar salad—if you can even call it that—I've never seen a salad like it. There was hardly any lettuce, a tiny amount, a hard-boiled egg, four shavings of Parmesan cheese, and boiled white chicken, not even breaded. Shameful. They advertised a minimum spend of €20, so you feel pressured to spend €20. And in the end, the waitress said the card machine was broken. If you're thinking of eating there, I strongly advise against it.

08/06/2026: I ordered and didn't check my order (for once). I asked for an iced tea and got a Coke. My grandson wanted a beef McDonald's, but he got something else. For dessert, I ordered a sugar donut and two chocolate donuts, but there were none. I won't be going back. It's unprofessional; they put out whatever they want. I couldn't go back to complain.

07/06/2026: I admit I worked at McDonald's for a few years and I don't usually like leaving Google reviews; perhaps I'm just more discerning. But this visit got neither a Q (dry bun left out in the open air and fries barely lukewarm and dry), nor an S (the first young man was quite friendly and responsive, however, the second employee didn't say hello or goodbye but: "Here!" because they were overwhelmed, so I politely came to get my tray), nor a P (the dining area had trash on the floor and dirty tables; I didn't dare go to the restroom). And obviously, it's not a "Valid" this time. PS: The Apple Pie was, I seem to recall, quite large back then and... much cheaper. Inflation, no doubt, but when you want to keep prices high, you have to provide adequate service. It's a shame.
