18/12/2024: After hearing about this restaurant for their raclette sandwich, I'm not disappointed to have gone to try it 😋 The concept is really great! You choose your sandwich in the window and they add a huge dose of real raclette cheese, for 9.5 euros. So rather than spending 10 or 12 bucks in the Christmas markets, it's definitely better to come here. At least no scam, the sandwich is super well stocked, the bread is good, and the cheese is smooth and gratinated on top 🥰

14/12/2024: Tasty, fresh, and simple. I recommend giving it a try. The seats are quite limited though.

27/03/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit to McDonald's Auxerre last night for two meals. The manager was very rude and unprofessional when I tried to explain the situation. Such a lack of respect is unacceptable for a company like yours. [Edit: Thank you for your response, but you are completely missing the point. This isn't just a matter of "feelings" or courtesy: I paid for two Mario Galaxy items, only receiving one out of two.] Your manager refused to correct this factual error despite the evidence I provided at the time. Acknowledging my message is one thing, but refunding me for a product that was charged but not served is quite another. I am still waiting for a concrete solution to this loss.

09/03/2025: A very pleasant tobacco bar to frequent. Well located in the city center, it is pleasant to sit on the terrace to have a coffee or other drink. The staff and owners are very pleasant, smiling and friendly.

25/02/2026: Truly disappointing. I've never had anything to complain about before, especially when the manager (Frédérique, I think) was super nice, but today he wasn't there and it was a disaster. I first ordered a bacon wrap at the drive-thru, without the bacon since I'm pregnant. When my order arrived, I checked and there was bacon in the wrap. I parked and went straight to the counter to tell them and ask for one without bacon. I was immediately greeted by an employee who was condescending, saying, "Are you sure there's bacon? Did you even check?" I told him that obviously I wasn't coming all this way for nothing. He ordered another one, so I took it and went to my car. When I unwrapped it immediately after receiving it, the wrap was cold, practically frozen! It was freezing cold, I was getting fed up, so my mother went to ask them to make me a hot one. She was received by the same employee, who told her he would call the manager. The manager arrived and told my mother (the icing on the cake!) that it was normal for the wrap to be cold because there was tomato in it! And so, the tomato slices were cooling the wrap! Even though I called him back, I had opened it immediately after receiving it, and besides, the first one with bacon was nice and hot. Anyway, the manager told my mother to go back to her car and that he would bring it to her. He brought it back, I unwrapped it, and once again, the wrap was cold! The inside was a little, and I mean a little, warmer, but the wrap itself was frozen solid. It's unacceptable! Once, I could understand, but this is clearly a joke. This is the first time I've experienced this in this fast food restaurant, but I'm not about to set foot in it again.

12/03/2026: I really wanted to take the time to leave a very positive review after my visit to this McDonald's, because the service I received deserves to be highlighted. I was served by a tall, blond, always-smiling young man named Axel, who was particularly helpful. From the moment I arrived, he greeted me with kindness and professionalism, which is unfortunately quite rare these days in many places. This young man was very polite, patient, and attentive. You can immediately see that he enjoys interacting with customers and that he does his job with seriousness and good humor. His smile is contagious, and he immediately creates a pleasant atmosphere. He's the kind of person who makes you want to come back, simply because you feel welcome. It had been a very long time since I had met someone so pleasant in a fast-food restaurant. In a world where everything often moves very fast, taking a few seconds to properly welcome people, remaining respectful, and keeping a smile makes all the difference. This young man perfectly embodies what customer service should be: respectful, warm, and professional. I sincerely believe that this kind of employee deserves to be highlighted, as he contributes enormously to the positive image of the establishment. Thanks to him, my visit to this McDonald's was very pleasant, and I left with a very good impression. A big thank you to Axel for his attitude and professionalism. I hope his work will be recognized as it deserves. In any case, I highly recommend this McDonald's, both for the speed of service and the quality of the welcome.
