22/07/2026: Hello, last Thursday I went to get my bread and to my great surprise I witnessed an altercation between the owner and an employee. I was shocked by the way the manager spoke to her employee, who was otherwise very kind. I don't understand how in 2026 someone can still be so harsh on their employee! I don't condone this kind of behavior, which is why I will buy my bread elsewhere.

22/07/2026: The staff have become more friendly and welcoming lately, and the pastries are still excellent. For special occasions, you can order any cake or ice cream dessert you like; you won't be disappointed!

27/06/2026: The grounds are great, but the toilets are deplorable (all the soaps are broken, there's litter everywhere even at the start of service), the food is mediocre for the price, and to top it off, there was a hair in the dish… Really disappointed; I don't remember it being like this a few years ago.

25/06/2026: Third visit, as a couple, to this unique restaurant with its original concept. Despite the heatwave outside, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the air conditioning was well-regulated. The service was efficient and friendly, with well-supervised young trainees. ;) Good value for money; I was pleasantly surprised by the refinement and flavors of the dishes. And to finish, a quick visit to the shop, where the welcome was very pleasant and professional. Definitely worth a visit.

21/07/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! It's a shame I can't give zero stars! In this era of dog-friendly shopping, you take one step into the store with a puppy in your arms (not a paw on the floor, no risk of getting it dirty) and you're thrown out like you're unclean! Even though the store is empty and there are only two saleswomen deep in conversation… we must be disturbing them… The pictogram at the entrance is incomprehensible! For a very good customer since Hoalen first opened, such a welcome is atrocious! It's clear the store manager has changed a lot! #dogenemy

30/03/2026: We came to celebrate a birthday, but we mostly tested our patience… We arrived on time → waited 15 minutes completely ignored, not even a glass of water. The welcome was nonexistent. We ordered fondues, clearly explaining the quantities → the restaurant decided to do its own thing and changed the order without warning. The result: inconsistent portions, identical fondue pots… either they were improvising, or hoping we wouldn't notice. We asked for an explanation → the waiter vanished. Literally. Houdini, but without the show. The drinks? Forgotten. We had to ask for them; apparently, they were optional. And the food… the fondue was so acidic we wondered if it was a dish or a cleaning product. The charcuterie was on par with school cafeteria fare on a dreary Monday. All this for a hefty price, though that, on the other hand, was perfectly reasonable. In short, nonexistent service, disorganized, and questionable quality. At this point, it's no longer a restaurant, it's an experience. Avoid it, unless you enjoy paying a lot to be ignored.

10/06/2026: €18 for an Italian salad with mozzarella because they were out of ham? I find the price a bit excessive, more like something you'd get at a seaside salad, if that!
