09/07/2026: We Americans, who know very little French, got some drinks here to await our uber. The gentleman at the bar welcomed us in with our luggage. He was closing early due to heat, but despite our language barrier, worked with us to communicate and then allowed us to stay until our Uber got here. He made sure we were loaded in our uber, and bid us a friendly fairwell. The drinks were tasty, and he was a very kind man.

21/05/2026: Clean, good breakfast. Limited place on underground garage. Only one homeless guy in they way back from metro! 😉

21/05/2026: Clean but small rooms. A small safe would be a nice addition. Breakfast with plenty of choice was perfect!

26/06/2026: They don't respect the opening hours. It's Friday and they're open according to Google.

18/04/2026: I wanted to buy some mugs and was waiting in line when I simply said "excuse me" to ask a question. The response was immediate and curt: "You can see I'm busy." (It was a bearded man.) Faced with this kind of reception, I left, as did other customers behind me. One can be busy, of course, but the way one responds makes all the difference. A little courtesy would prevent this type of situation. This incident is a bit old, but since I pass by this shop window every day, I wanted to share my experience so that customers receive a warm welcome regardless of the situation or the people involved.

26/07/2026: Excellent bakery. Everything is delicious. The little tables outside are very pleasant. Personally, I also appreciate that they donate bread to Soupe Trinité, a community kitchen that feeds 150 people a day. Thank you, Lendemaine!

16/04/2026: Great night at The Marmot - best place to watch the football in the evening around here for sure! The food is mouthwatering good, one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had. Shall certainly be visiting again when I return to Tignes.

25/07/2026: It's dry, very dry, as if it weren't fresh at all. We ordered a chocolate-hazelnut cookie and an olive fougasse. The cookie is so dry it could break your teeth, and I'm still looking for the chocolate. The fougasse is more like a breadstick, it's so dry! Plus, its center is white, like bread that hasn't thawed properly or is at least two days old (even though we came on a Saturday). Not to mention the swarm of bees (at least ten) that were happily munching on the pastries, demonstrating a serious lack of hygiene. For the price, you can easily find better in the neighborhood!

14/07/2026: I'm sorry to say that the service for tourists is very poor. We had to wait forever, while everyone who arrived after us and spoke French was served immediately and received their orders promptly, whereas we were constantly put off. Never again. Therefore, I cannot recommend it.

10/04/2026: A very good little family-run roadside inn. We stopped there on our way back from vacation, it was perfect.

16/07/2026: One star because I can't give zero. We were very disappointed with our experience. We paid nearly €65 for an order that we ended up leaving half of because the quality was so poor. The chicken was undercooked and very tough, the breadcrumbs were soggy, which gave the impression that the food wasn't fresh. Furthermore, the restaurant is supposed to close at 11:30 pm, but by 10:30 pm, the self-service kiosks were already closed. A customer who arrived just after us had her order refused and was asked to leave. At 11:00 pm, the lights were turned off while other customers were still eating, which clearly gave the impression that they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of the quality of the food and the welcome and service. We will not be returning.

25/06/2026: A superb gastronomic experience in an exceptional setting. The refined cuisine showcases local produce with originality yet simplicity, in a warm and intimate atmosphere. The dining room decor is very well done. I particularly enjoyed the open kitchen, allowing you to watch the team at work and get up close to the chefs. And the sunset over Lake Bourget on the horizon... I was delighted to discover the restaurant during its first week of opening. Bravo!

19/07/2026: 🌊 What a setting... Magnificent and relaxing! I'd been wanting to try this place for a while! 🍽 A short menu featuring local products (trout from Ruelle), and the trout was excellent. The recipes are simple and effective (but could use a little more creativity to offer something different from what you'd eat at home 😉). The sauces are delicious, though. They also offer a vegetarian option (vegetarian risotto). 😊 A warm welcome. Don't miss the chance to see the mill's inner workings!

19/07/2026: The fries were dry, we got ripped off on the drinks, and the food was frozen. In short, it's not real food.

12/07/2026: I arrived at the drive-thru at 11:30 PM, there were four cars ahead of me. They were taking orders every 5 to 10 minutes, and when it was my turn, they told me they couldn't take my order for ice cream. How shameful!

11/07/2026: Meh, not great in Saarbrücken, Germany. It's better and more professional. The service there is more professional... And above all, faster, with a smile to match.

27/07/2026: If you ask us for a restaurant recommendation in the greater Toulouse area, La Boîte aux Galettes will undoubtedly be the first one that comes to mind, regardless of the criteria! Offering such an original, varied, generous, and delicious selection of galettes is a challenge that the team has more than met! (This includes the witty, lively, and welcoming service). And if you're also considering the value for money, La Boîte aux Galettes is practically unbeatable! A regular treat we enjoy with the family!
