The only downside is serving jarred asparagus during peak season; it would be better to refrain from doing so or at least mention it. It's a real shame...
The carbonnade, however, was very good; that was excellent.
It was very cold inside (not much different from outside).
The service was good and quick. At lunchtime, there's no menu, only a set menu (choice of two starters, one main course, and two desserts).
09/04/2026: A friendly place with a warm welcome and quality service. Despite a few unavailable dishes, the food was still good. 🙂

A feast for the eyes upon the arrival of the dish, followed by enchantment for the palate in a serene and tranquil setting.

25/04/2026: I'm attaching a photo of the ice cream cone I paid €4.50 for. It's outrageous! I can only imagine the look on the tourists' faces. Honestly, what a disgrace for Marc! It's beyond ridiculous. Amateurs! It's a complete rip-off; you wouldn't even serve that to a 5-year-old!

12/04/2026: We were regulars, and we went back on Friday, April 10th. There were four of us eating, and all four of us got sick. We had our doubts at first about the quality of the meat, and there was a smell of vomit in the dining room. We ate anyway, and all four of us ended up with stomach aches and diarrhea. 🤨

19/04/2026: If there's one place in Old Lyon where time seems to have stood still, it's here.
The decor is authentic, reminiscent of an old film.
However, the quirky owner creates a lively atmosphere and serves drinks until the early hours.
A superb spot for making great (and friendly) acquaintances over a drink.
P.S.: I didn't eat there.

This allows you to sample a good number of wines without necessarily having to buy a whole bottle or glasses.

P.S.: It's disappointing to see responses to negative reviews that aren't taken seriously and are often condescending, like "too bad, maybe next time," instead of any attempt at self-reflection. 🙄

The food is good, varied, and always made with quality ingredients. I especially loved the salads—they're simply excellent!
The place is super easy to get to, with a lovely terrace for when the weather's nice. Honestly, it's a great place to relax, a chill atmosphere guaranteed ☀️
Even in the afternoon, it's perfect for unwinding with a cup of tea.
Definitely the place to relax!

15/05/2026: It's a shame that an XL platter only contains a dry sausage, two small pieces of cheese, two small slices of cured ham, and a lot of bread, all for 22 euros. It's really too little or too expensive; it's a real pity. The service was quick and without any problems.
15/05/2026: We arrived at the restaurant as a group of 16. The staff were fantastic and very pleasant, and we had a wonderful meal. The young woman at the till was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it.
