27/06/2026: We came for a drink on the terrace, and the waitress, besides being rude, didn't know the menu. It started raining, and there was no way to move inside, even though we had a child with us. We left. The staff was deplorable, especially the manager.

25/06/2026: Didn’t stay to sample the fare, the young waitress was so rude we just left! Avoid, across the road in the Port de Pleasance is a wonderful little bar called Bernie where the host is wonderfully welcoming, the beer is cold and the tapas are tasty!

09/07/2026: The one in Wattrelos (Sartel) is a disaster! Four fries practically fighting over each other, and sundaes at €3 each... I honestly think I would have been better off getting a kids' ice cream! Even my 6-year-old daughter was still hungry after her meal, and she doesn't eat much! At those prices, I won't be going to McDonald's next time! 😠

22/07/2026: This is one of the very few unrenovated McDonald's restaurants in France that's still stuck in the 2010s! The McDonald's spirit is definitely there! The food quality is fine, nothing was forgotten or there were no unpleasant surprises! However, it's risky to try and place an order when your train (Line H) is arriving in less than 10 minutes; it's a gamble, in my opinion… But a renovation is definitely needed ⚠️🚧

22/07/2026: Apparently an old McDonald's, shabby interior, broken tiles, old damaged tables... Not too crowded when we went, yet a long wait to be served.

02/05/2026: As a loyal customer, I'm never disappointed. The pizzas are all delicious. The burgers are a treat. The desserts are wonderful. The owners are absolutely lovely. Everything is homemade. I highly recommend this establishment.

02/07/2026: Fantastic! I went there for lunch one day and had a Caesar salad with a virgin mojito. It was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the salad! Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the music, the service, and the waitress, who was lovely. I'll definitely be back!

18/06/2026: It's good, with original starters like the crispy beets. The tagliatelle with shrimp dish was delicious. The service was very pleasant and quick. Lunch special: starter/main course for €16.50. It's a generous portion. Impeccable!

01/07/2026: Delicious soft bread, great choice of fillings. Good coffee too (ice latte). They have a version of their menu in English as well, which was very helpful. Didn't try any of their baked goods but they looked lovely. €1 surcharge for eating in, rather than taking away.

28/05/2026: The rooms with sea views are truly lovely; I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. The hotel has a nice atmosphere. You do have to be prepared to climb a very long flight of stairs from the street, and then another flight or two. But the hotel has a lot of charm. The €10 breakfast is ordinary but adequate, with very friendly staff. The restaurant, however, is another story. It has a beautiful sea view, which is nice. But the prices are high for average quality. And above all, in our case, the service was interminable... an hour between the starter and the main courses... an extra glass of wine that finally arrived when we had finished everything... (with a "you're welcome," seemingly to teach me some manners after my failure to say thank you!). It was very annoying, a shame. We obviously decided against having dessert for fear of being stuck there even longer.

16/05/2026: Television with only one working channel, no hand soap, only one power outlet in the room, breakfast at €10 per person with very limited choices… Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Only the view from the room is decent. The reception also needs improvement…

15/07/2026: A wonderful experience at this establishment where the expertly prepared dishes are complemented by a beautiful setting and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Visited on July 14, 2026

29/05/2026: Second bad experience at the drive-thru in less than a month. - The first time, I was alone at the drive-thru and waited almost 10 minutes without any communication from the employees at the order kiosk. So I left. - The second time, same situation: alone at the drive-thru, I was asked to wait "a little while," which ended up lasting at least 5 to 10 minutes. So, once again, I left, because I wasn't going to wait indefinitely like the first time, especially without any further information. This is unacceptable, especially since no one else was at the drive-thru. The wait was therefore completely unjustified.

11/07/2026: I'm not leaving a review because I almost went but didn't. It has to be said that closing at 8 pm when the concert is at 6:30 pm is a bit short if you're coming from far away. However, the owner should read and respond to reviews. That shows they care about their customers.

17/07/2026: I always go to this bakery or the one in La Chaume, which is excellent. But yesterday I bought what was sold to me as rum babas, but I was looking for the rum—there was no rum in it. I had bought some in La Chaume that were excellent, with a real rum flavor, but I was disappointed. At €9 and change, I was a bit let down. After that, I bought a burger, which was excellent, as well as a ham and butter sandwich—too much butter in it—and some wraps. They looked big, but they were small, with a lot of salad and not much sauce. I don't know what happened that day, but it wasn't great.

05/07/2026: We had lunch there throughout our entire week-long vacation. I highly recommend it, and the staff are fantastic and incredibly friendly.

25/05/2026: Disappointed, I ordered by phone, arrived with no written record of my order, and had to return it only for them to put whatever they wanted in it. I asked for no tomatoes and Andalusian sauce. It came with tomatoes but no sauce… I won't be back.

24/05/2026: The kebab was very good. However, the price was excessive: 2 kebabs, 2 jugs of wine, €49. At that price, I think I'll go somewhere else.

24/06/2026: I strongly advise against going there. The welcome was not pleasant at all, the terrace was full of flies, and the service was far too slow for three people. The food was only so-so.
