13/04/2026: A very simple and welcoming grocery store where you will find regulars with Creole accents and products from the Mascarenes with a few tables to enjoy a small dish, excellent Dahl puri or chili candies.

02/07/2026: I had the opportunity to eat there one evening during our last meal of our vacation, and I was very disappointed. It's more like a working-class restaurant than anything else; apart from the good wine, I can't say the food lives up to expectations. No local products, the duck leg was dry... and so on. The price doesn't justify what you get on your plate, unfortunately.

30/06/2026: We only had dinner. A very warm welcome and an excellent Périgord meal. A pleasant atmosphere among the staff and a friendly local feel. I recommend it.

25/05/2026: Upon entering the pastry shop, we were greeted by a kind and smiling employee who skillfully guided us in our selection. Even though all the cakes looked so tempting! We enjoyed our cakes outside, basking in the sunshine. We had the pleasure of chatting with Ms. Ordieni and her employee over drinks. It was a truly delightful conversation about the pastry shop's specialties, the decorative items sold in the store, and more. A lovely time spent in Bayeux. We highly recommend this pastry shop and chocolatier. P.S.: We are from the Orne region.

18/04/2026: The young saleswoman gave us a very warm welcome. However, it's a shame the mini St-Eve cookies are so soft and stretchy; they flatten out when you cut them too short.

07/07/2026: The gentleman wasn't active, the order was taken incorrectly, and they didn't even say hello. They can't even manage to be polite. Frankly, I'm disappointed, especially since there weren't many people around. I ordered from my car, I stated my order, I had to repeat myself several times, and they couldn't even be bothered to respect the order. I don't recommend ordering from my car. I was very disappointed today.

07/07/2026: WHAT CAN I SAY… A 40-minute wait when there were only three cars, and the carpool wasn't even full… First, we were asked to wait without a greeting or an apology. Anyway, after the minutes of waiting, the manager, Virginie, gave us our order without an apology or a smile. I asked for deluxe sauces as compensation… two tiny, ridiculous sauces? …it’s shameful… The -73 ice cream I ordered was prepared and sat on the counter for 20 minutes… I’m not sure that’s a proper cold chain protocol… Let’s get down to brass tacks about our order… no caramel in the Daim caramel McFlurry… no onion in the 280… in short… I understand the lack of staff, the lack of preparation, and the lack of communication… but you can’t push your luck, especially since there are still people working there at 11 pm (I know, I worked at McDonald’s for 3 years). Anyway… A complete rip-off, I don’t recommend it…

04/07/2026: The staff at this small casino were welcoming. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working on this sweltering day and the heat was unbearable.

04/07/2026: A very friendly place, which is rare for a casino. Smiles from beginning to end. Thank you to the managers for their kindness and thank you to the very smiling, friendly, and engaging staff. Don't change a thing except maybe make the air conditioning more powerful. Thank you.

23/07/2026: The fries were bland, the service was terrible (they forgot the sauces), and the floor was so sticky that my aunt's flip-flops got stuck and she almost hurt herself. I don't recommend it. The burger was awful; it looked like my 8-year-old sister had made it.

26/06/2026: The pizzas are great. The place is cute, and the servers are lovely. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of meeting the owner and his angelic face. What a shame to spoil such a pleasant face with such a miserable attitude. Sir, I hope you one day find the serenity needed to manage 25 customers and 40 late pizzas without taking your frustrations out on your servers. Perhaps if your mother had breastfed you, you would have been less frustrated. But don't worry about your team; they're fantastic and save the day. Closing the kitchen at 9 p.m. on a World Cup night was audacious; confusing your servers in front of your customers is even more comical. Keep your chin up. Luckily, you have the S, it's great 🫶🏻

26/07/2026: We came here for the interior, of course. It's beautiful, no doubt about it. But overall, you won't be able to fully appreciate the beauty of this place. It's very crowded. The counters are busy. Many are sitting with laptops, taking up space for others. The restroom is almost right in the center, and the line is endless at the entrance. The staff can't keep up with cleaning. And of course, the order for drinks confused me. The wait is incredibly long, which is unfortunate. Secondly, people who ordered after me received their drinks much earlier. The drinks were okay. But I probably wouldn't go here again.

14/07/2026: We ate there over the weekend of July 14th, sitting in the shade on the terrace. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. It was quite busy, but the service was fairly quick. The food was good and simple. There was a children's menu with a good selection. The view of the harbor was lovely.

11/07/2026: A good beer, enjoyed in moderation overlooking the harbor, was the perfect way to start the summer. Nothing better!

17/07/2026: A lovely place with a warm welcome, tasteful decor, and impeccable service. The pizzas are delicious, as are the mussels—a real treat! I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

18/07/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's. I ordered a McDeal with a chicken burger. Upon taking the first bite, I realized I had been served a beef burger. I called an employee over to point out the mistake. She simply replied, "I'll bring it right back." At no point did she ask me to return the burger, so I finished it while waiting for the one I had actually ordered. A few minutes later, the manager came to our table and informed us that she couldn't give us the chicken burger after all, because the first burger should have been returned. I explained to her that the employee had never asked us to return it. Her only response was that the employee had only been there for a week and hadn't known. I find this justification unacceptable: a communication error within the team should not be blamed on the customer. In the end, I never received the burger I had ordered, even though the error was entirely the restaurant's fault. A simple gesture of goodwill or a product replacement would have been enough to resolve the situation. Instead, I was left with the feeling that my complaint wasn't being taken seriously. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of service and incident handling.

15/07/2026: I came to pick up a meal order and used the drive-thru. It's not the first time this has happened to me; I already left a comment about it, but it wasn't taken into account. The person was unpleasant. On Sundays, the menu wasn't honored; I was given an iced tea instead of Coke, and my sandwich was completely different. And like I said, it's not the first time. At some point, they need to check things properly. This needs to be reviewed.

15/10/2025: Six of us had dinner here last night and it was excellent. The soup, fish tartare, foie gras were lovely starters. The plats included salmon, lamb and chicken, all delicious. Dessert was a delicious chocolate construction and lavender crème brûlée. The waiter was very helpful with English descriptions of the dishes, chose some dishes for several of our party and had excellent wine recommendations. Service was quick and not cloying. And we relaxed after dessert finishing our wine without being bothered. One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Malaucene and we’ve been to most of them. Would put this as one of the top three.

27/06/2026: The bar is nice in the evening, however, I paid for a drink I never received. The waiter told me I didn't want to pay, even though the payment went through to my account. If you want to be ripped off like that, go somewhere else. Apart from that, the atmosphere in the evening is good…
