23/08/2026: I really love La Cabane à Bagel, whether it's for a full meal or just a quick and tasty snack. The ingredients are good and fresh, and the bagels are generously filled. We've always enjoyed them!
The staff is always very kind, smiling, and pleasant, which is really appreciated.
The place isn't very big, but it's perfect for a quick and delicious break.
A great spot when you're in the area!

20/08/2026: Definitely the best coffee shop in Nîmes.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable; they're eager to sell and know how to do it.
The hot drinks are excellent, and the drinks by the glass (diabolo, syrup, etc.) are perfectly measured.
11/08/2026: I ordered an iced latte and was unfortunately disappointed. The drink had very little, if any, coffee flavor; the milk was the main taste.
For an establishment that presents itself as a roaster, I really expected to taste the aromas and flavor of coffee more. The iced latte recipe clearly needs improvement. Especially since the price is quite high for what's offered.

17/09/2026: We discovered a welcoming restaurant opposite the towers of La Rochelle. The waiters were incredibly friendly, and the food (the mussels) was excellent! We'll be delighted to come back for another meal!
15/09/2026: Beyond terrible unfortunately. The hostess was clearly annoyed by the customers when she almost smashed the aperol spritz glass on the table. The service was rude and hasty and inefficient. It really seems like they want your money even though we saw a lot of people waiting for 20 minutes only to order drinks...
If I were you, go to Cafe Leffe. Its friendly, it's good and you will have a great time unlike we had in here

30/06/2026: A very disappointing bar, clearly a tourist trap. The welcome was cold and unpleasant, with no effort whatsoever from the person managing the bar. We didn't feel welcome at all. I do not recommend this establishment.
25/06/2026: A small after-work bar in the 8th arrondissement. It just needs a triple beer on tap. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

27/08/2026: A very warm and authentic place. A very wide selection of gourmet groceries, and the prices are very reasonable, as are the prices of the food and drinks served, which are of very good quality. Definitely worth a try!
10/07/2026: Didn't eat, just drank beers in front of the large screen during the France/Morocco quarter-final. The owner refused to serve me water in my bottle, a disgrace!
From January 1, 2022, certain establishments open to the public (ERP) are required to provide at least one drinking fountain accessible to the public. Clearly, a place to avoid!

03/02/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, as it was close to our accommodation and the metro. It was definitely a great find, as we didn't want to try anywhere else for breakfast. The sweet and savory items were delicious and reasonably priced. Plus, the guy who served us was very friendly, always welcoming us warmly.
