25/02/2026: I went to order and saw the blonde girl barista reading something under the computer. I stood there smiling hoping she would notice that there was a customer, since it seemed like she saw me in her peripheral vision. I thought she was just finishing checking something, so i waited about 30–40 seconds, then i said “Bonjour” and she finally responded. I ordered a Mocha Blanc Frappuccino with almond milk and caramel drizzle on top. I also asked if she could make it very icy and not too liquid, like with a lot of ice. She smiled and said yes and proceeded to say something to the barista which i cant understand what. Mind you, i always order this exact drink everywhere i go and it’s usually good. But this time, it tasted extremely sweet, like pure sugar syrup. It honestly felt like the milk and espresso were missing. On top of that, it wasn’t even an extra icy Frappuccino texture i asked her to make at all, it was completely liquid. So i paid over 9€ and ended up throwing away half of it because it was too sweet and not enjoyable. (My husband drank most of it because he didn’t want to waste a 9€ drink, but I told him it was really unhealthy since it was unbelievably sweet.) Worst. Never leave a bad rating at a Starbucks before. This is my first.

15/02/2026: Cold, no welcome, I really don't recommend it, especially the blonde manager who was very unprofessional and had a terrible welcome.

01/04/2026: Very pleasantly surprised. For me, the best McDonald's I've been to. The restaurant is clean, the service is very fast, and the staff is truly professional. Keep up the good work, it's really very enjoyable! 👍

30/03/2026: As Americans to get to go an McDonald's out of the country is a fun experience. That they brought the food to you quickly and efficiently was better than home. The staff never seemed to not give their job their all, impressive. Plus you watched them clean the tables.

19/04/2026: Delivery was promised within 40 minutes, which was fine, but an hour later, still no delivery… We called, and they told us our order was leaving just now, even though we were 10 minutes away. 20 minutes later, still nothing. We decided to call again, and they told us not to worry, it was coming, but 15 minutes later, still nothing. We called again, and they gave us excuses… then it was coming, then they offered to reorder and pick it up, and finally, they offered us a refund of half the order as soon as we could come in person, which we accepted. Finally, the order arrived, but after a two-hour wait. To top it all off, our meal was cold, and as you can imagine, they don't want to give us a refund. I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm furious. Paying for delivery and a meal that arrives two hours later and is even colder is unacceptable. Especially when they give us the runaround and then lie to us! This happened last Sunday, April 12, 2026 – avoid it!!!

05/04/2026: I ordered two bowls that were reheated; the cream was as if the dish had been prepared an hour earlier, and it was completely cold. If I get sick, I'm going to sue you!!!

18/03/2026: I ordered takeout on Wednesday evening, March 18, 2026: 9 veggie nuggets with potatoes and a cherry Coke. I noticed the smell was unusual and unpleasant. Upon opening the bag, I was unpleasantly surprised to find there were only 8 nuggets, and they weren't veggie... The person who prepared my order deliberately put in a bag of chicken nuggets (there's a large chicken silhouette on the packaging). As a vegetarian, this kind of mistake is unacceptable to me. How can they make such a mistake when it's clearly visible on the packaging?! I've noticed from reading the reviews that there are regular order preparation errors. At this point, it's not just mistakes; there are people on this restaurant's staff who are doing a poor job and/or are doing a sloppy job. Furthermore, the floor behind the counter where the restaurant staff work was covered in dropped fries, which the staff had to walk on while preparing and serving orders to customers. Therefore, I do not recommend the McDonald's in Genay.

14/03/2026: I just ordered a Big Tasty (order number 4566) for takeout this Saturday evening, March 14, 2026, with an extra two bacon slices and one white cheddar cheese. I get home, and there are no bacon slices or extra cheddar cheese, and I paid extra for all of that! Seriously, please learn to respect your orders. It's not complicated, and it avoids a very unhappy customer who has lost money. Have a good evening.

30/03/2026: Very expensive and bad for digestion. I'm done with fast food. Small kebab shops are cheaper and better, even the fries!

28/03/2026: I went to the drive-thru. My order was unfortunately inedible because all the Cokes were spilled. So I called when I got home, but there was no answer, so I called again the next day. They found my order and told me it wasn't possible to remake it because they weren't responsible once the drinks were opened. It's a joke! The place is filthy; I even saw a rat scurrying across in front of me. They should call the health inspector; I'm sure they're rigging things for themselves, but when it comes to refunding customers, that's another story. I wasn't asking for much, just for them to remake my order.

14/04/2026: We're here right now… the floor is dirtier than a sewer, there's a mistake with every customer order, including the number of items (several products were missing). An employee came back to retrieve the macarons he'd mistakenly added to our table. I've never eaten such disgusting potatoes in my life. The staff is completely incompetent and unfriendly. Avoid this place if you want to have a good time with your family.

31/03/2026: The location is good and convenient, however…; we came as a group of four, but only one of us ordered a set menu. We went to our table, and when it came time to receive our order, there was no greeting, only a remark telling us that we weren't allowed to be four people ordering the same thing. The service was very disappointing…I do not recommend it.

17/04/2026: The food was fine. However, there was very little seating. No play area for children.

08/04/2026: Having arrived in the evening, there wasn't much of an atmosphere left... since C is more of a daytime event!

16/03/2026: Almost two years since my last review, which I'm updating because it's a disaster. A simple drive-thru order, and nothing but mistakes. Fries instead of potatoes, ice cubes when we asked for none, and all in 20 minutes! Is anyone actually running this "fast" food place?

06/03/2026: €7.50 for 2 cheeseburgers is criminal. The service was decent, though.

03/03/2026: First time I came to this establishment with colleagues, and the last time I'll ever go... It's the first time I've ever seen such unfriendly restaurant staff! Not a hello, not a smile. Luckily, not all the shopkeepers in Roye are like that... As for the payment, we had no choice but to divide the total amount by the number of people in our party. Unfair, considering some people had ordered a cheaper menu than us... Anyway, I won't dwell any longer on this bad experience. Thankfully, the food was good! That's the only positive thing!

23/02/2026: There's certainly quantity, but what about the quality? The value for money isn't optimal, and I'm still waiting for a smile from the owner.

07/04/2026: The gourmet coffee (or tea) is worth the trip. Everything is 100% homemade and the portions are enormous. A delight! The restaurant is very well located. The dining room is welcoming. The service is quick. The welcome is very warm. The dishes are delicious... Everything is perfect.
