10/06/2026: Perfect hotel to go to when coming to Lourdes. Such a peaceful spot. Only a few minutes' walk down the road from the bus stop that takes you to the airport. Right by the riverside, and as you come out of the hotel, just across the bridge, you enter into all the stores and restaurants. Small supermarket just across the bridge also, which was super handy. Approximately an 8-minute walk through the shops to get to the sanctuary -perfect walking distance. Staff are brilliant, very kind and respectful. The bar was open till around 11 pm; they served us coffee after we came back a bit late from the prayer at the church. So kind and respectful. Would highly recommend . The rooms are very neat, simple, and clean regardless of what size. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend for a peaceful trip of prayer coming to Lourdes. 06/06/2026: The rooms are very poorly soundproofed; you can hear all the taps, showers, and toilets in the other rooms, as well as street noise. My room was right next to the elevator, so I could hear the machinery—it was impossible to sleep. I went downstairs to ask for a different room, and the response was that the hotel was full. There was also a gentleman who couldn't sleep in his room because of the heat; they gave him an old fan. The air conditioning doesn't work. In short, a terrible hotel.

14/03/2026: A few years ago, while traveling from Alsace to the Landes region, I booked a room at "La Coloniale" bed and breakfast. I arrived around 5 p.m. on a Sunday evening in mid-October. The weather was rainy, dark, and gloomy, and there was no one at reception. I called the mobile number I had and reached someone who I was clearly bothering. The gentleman was invited to a friend's house for drinks. Barely polite, he questioned my reservation date. He did, however, explain how to access a room (Prune) which wasn't the one I had booked (Perle). There was no one to suggest a restaurant for dinner, so no dinner. The next morning, still no host, I dealt with a housekeeper, who was quite pleasant, for breakfast and to settle the bill for my stay. Conclusion: disappointed by this reception which lacked the most basic respect, this is not an address I recommend.

02/08/2026: This bar was a wonderful surprise! A very attentive young couple with great energy. We had a fantastic time and we'll be back.

18/09/2026: The bagels are good... but paying an extra €2 for nothing is unacceptable! We ordered two bagels with the avocado option... €2 extra for each bagel. And neither of them had avocado! I find that really unfair considering the price.

18/09/2026: Expensive for what little there is to eat... plus they refused my bill because it was slightly torn, claiming the manager wouldn't be happy... they won't see me again, I'm better off going to Subway

22/07/2026: I visited this place in July because there was a power outage in my area. Best decision ever! They speak English, the coffee was really good, and they even provide complimentary snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I had a great experience. I'll definitely be back. 17/09/2026: A 13-minute wait for 9 nuggets (when I went to the counter to complain, the person gave them to me directly because my order was waiting behind me). It was 11:00 AM and there was no other customer besides me. Extremely high prices, for example, a Crocmacdo is €3.70, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. In short, I used to go there regularly, but I've had more than enough. Especially since Burger King is right next door and much better in the end.

06/09/2026: One Sunday evening, when I went to this McDonald's, after being served, the burger (size 280) was cold. I find that rather disappointing for a Sunday evening, when there weren't many customers. On top of that, the large caramel sundae wasn't nicely topped. For €3.50, it would have been better to buy a decent ice cream.

06/09/2026: A McDonald's that made me want to eat McDonald's again: fast service, hot and well-made burger, and above all, finally generous ice cream, both in quantity and topping. Addendum: €12 for a simple Chicago Best Of, €3.70 for a Croque McDo.

03/08/2026: For years I've been getting pan bagnats at Multari when I came on holiday. I had one yesterday and I'll never order from them again! A simple tuna and tomato sandwich with three radish slices and bread that doesn't resemble a pan bagnat at all... A disgrace!!
