05/04/2026: I stopped by this morning and everything was absolutely delicious 🤤 One small drawback, though: I would have really appreciated a plant-based milk option. That would be a real plus for people with intolerances or who prefer alternatives.

01/04/2026: The bread is really not great, the pastries, cakes, sandwiches and related items are very good but quite expensive. They have long opening hours, allowing for a pleasant break.

18/02/2026: This place has become just another ordinary spot. We used to know it was much better, and during school holidays, they didn't even serve waffles at 4 pm, and that seemed perfectly normal... As a former bartender, I always managed to help customers out. What a shame.

Instead of making Les Deux Guides a hotspot for nightlife in Le Grand-Bornand... it's a very, very ordinary place!

11/03/2026: When I leave McDonald's, I'm still hungry. There's always something missing: no sauce, no napkin, or the fries are cold, or even a glass of water instead of a Fanta. And once, there weren't any toys in the kids' meals. It's really not great. I'm going to try to find something better. I hardly ever go anymore, and I'm going to stop going to that place altogether. It's a complete mess. The nicest person there is Olivier, the server and head cleaner.

13/01/2026: I arrived in the afternoon at 1:45 PM, knowing that the opening time was 1:30 PM. There was a long line outside, stretching all the way to the exit. The security guard was only letting people in one at a time because there were already too many people waiting inside. I left at 4:00 PM, but at 3:15 PM we were told that there was no point in waiting beyond the cordon and that we should come back the next day, with the same uncertainty about getting an appointment. We were given a form to fill out for those who wanted to be contacted by phone. I had been warned that you had to arrive very early to have any hope of getting an appointment, but experiencing it is quite another story. The pointless wait in the cold, the uncertainty, and the wasted time. Everyone's nerves are being tested. Several people have reported arriving at 9 a.m. that same day who were unable to enter the building and had to return in the afternoon to wait indefinitely. It's inhumane to make so many people wait unnecessarily in the cold. Are there any solutions to manage this infernal wait? A ticket system, an estimated wait time? Allowing more people inside the building, even if it means sitting on the floor where it's warm and dry to make the wait less unpleasant. It's a nightmare. It's better to complete as much as possible online and call an advisor from home, even if it means waiting 20 minutes on the phone, than to travel there for nothing and waste your day. Or arrive more than an hour before opening time to have any hope of being seen.

31/12/2025: Staff shortages result in excessively long waits, both inside and outside. Not to mention the lack of parking, making travel difficult even though the bus stops nearby. Some people prefer to use their own vehicles.

29/03/2026: I waited 30 minutes at the drive-thru for a nuggets meal; they said there was a glitch! They didn't even have a napkin in the package! They're completely overwhelmed and disorganized! And it's not the first time.

11/04/2026: I'm very disappointed with my visit to this bakery. The saleswoman was unfriendly and haughty. The hygiene also leaves much to be desired. We were treated like dogs. There was shouting at the baker from the back of the shop. I don't recommend this bakery in Caen; go to one on the coast instead, you'll find a much warmer welcome!

31/03/2026: I eat and have my coffee at Florent's every day. Everything is delicious, and the service is incredibly friendly. It's always a real pleasure to go there. The coconut macaroons are simply amazing!

09/04/2026: Such disrespect is rare. There were four of us, and we literally abandoned our order as soon as it was taken by an insolent and disrespectful waiter. The entire staff has changed.

31/03/2026: I don't know if it's changed owners recently, but it's not as friendly as it used to be. The welcome was cold, and the merguez sausages were barely cooked and the fries were too pale. At €8.50 for the set menu, it's expensive for just two merguez sausages. I don't recommend it. Sorry.

09/04/2026: I've spent two evenings at McDonald's on the road to Narbonne between 1 and 2 am. The staff is excellent, especially Yslem; we had a great time chatting while ordering, which was really nice! Thank you!

14/02/2026: Every year we choose a local restaurant to celebrate the end of the year with our Orthopedics department at Bonnet Hospital, and this year our choice was very disappointing. We had to bring our own speakers for music because their sound system was supposedly broken. The dinner buffet was extremely disappointing and very meager for about thirty people, especially considering the price of €30 per person. This review is being written two months later because we haven't received a response from the owner to our email expressing our disappointment. The only positive aspect of this place is the location and its large, well-heated dining room.
