14/02/2026: Every year we choose a local restaurant to celebrate the end of the year with our Orthopedics department at Bonnet Hospital, and this year our choice was very disappointing. We had to bring our own speakers for music because their sound system was supposedly broken. The dinner buffet was extremely disappointing and very meager for about thirty people, especially considering the price of €30 per person. This review is being written two months later because we haven't received a response from the owner to our email expressing our disappointment. The only positive aspect of this place is the location and its large, well-heated dining room.

23/05/2026: I placed an Uber Eats order for a large order of fries and received a small container of fries poured into a larger one. I called to speak to the manager, and they told me that's how they portion the fries; they choose the quantities. I find it unacceptable to pay for a large order of fries and receive a small container. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

14/05/2026: Dirty restaurant - wrong order - unfriendly staff. I do not recommend it.

20/05/2026: Never disappointed by this establishment, but no delivery drivers were available, and for the first time there was availability on Uber Eats, we placed an order. We waited an hour and a half, with delivery delays every time, only to find out nothing had been confirmed… Sorry for the negative review, but there was a time when kebab shops had their own drivers and things were more organized… The kebab shop next door confirmed everything immediately and delivered on time… L’Etoile Orientale remains the best in terms of taste, but this time it was very disappointing…

10/04/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! Order placed at 8:30 PM. Delivery time pushed back every 5 minutes. And so the delivery was cancelled 😡 Refund within 3 to 5 days. Shameful

24/05/2026: I'm here today because my card is no longer valid, we're losing all our points. I'm calling the McDonald's manager myself. The fries with the cheddar are practically useless, the fries are disgusting, the worst.

19/05/2026: Always forget about sauces at the drive-thru

17/10/2025: The tents were basic, and since it was the end of the season, the food was limited. Clothes got damp. Drying facilities were limited to dryers, and there were no rooms. Wi-Fi was only available in the common room.

03/10/2025: We have visited every year in a campervan for more than 10 years and the campsite is consistently welcoming and good value for money. You can pick your own secluded pitch and the toilets, showers and washing up areas are clean but you need to bring your own toilet paper. Plenty of trees, red squirrels and birds. Often a large group of youngsters at the surf camp on site, but they are friendly and no trouble. The walk to the beach has been refurbished this year and it has injected a new lease of life into the area. The beach is gorgeous however, the sea is really not suitable for children with huge crashing waves, strong currents and a steep shelf.

30/05/2026: I wanted to support the small local fast-food place instead of the American giant next door, but I was wrong... nothing is homemade despite the name "Maison Laffont." The prices are exorbitant for the deplorable quality; I feel ripped off. The flatbread was tasteless, like shoe leather, the nuggets were like something from Lidl, and don't even get me started on the fries. In short, I swore off as soon as I left, never again!

09/05/2026: Outrageous! I ordered a bacon baguette. The bacon was undercooked, tasteless, and the egg was undercooked—it was inedible. Paying €45 for nothing to eat is a disgrace. I won't recommend it since the new management took over; they're unfriendly and unprofessional. Definitely don't go there! And the hygiene is appalling. The woman who works there doesn't wear a hairnet and handles food with her bare hands. Food poisoning is a real risk.

21/05/2026: If all McDonald's were as clean and the staff as friendly as at this motorway service station, McDonald's breaks would be so much better, quicker, and always so enjoyable.

19/05/2026: We spent 1 hour and 20 minutes in the drive-thru. 1 hour and 20 minutes. Enough time to watch a movie, take a nap, or cook a proper hot meal ourselves. Apparently, "fast" in "fast food" is a suggestion, not a promise. At the end of this odyssey, here's our reward: an incomplete order, a mistake on one item, and barely cooked fries. They didn't even have the energy to fry them properly. No gesture of goodwill, no apology, no explanation for the wait. Just an awkward silence and a dubious-looking bag thrust through the window. If you have free time, infinite patience, and a passion for soggy fries, you're in the right place. For everyone else, move along. 🥦 👋 Goodbye McVeggie because eating meat-free is apparently too inclusive. The McPlant nuggets replaced with regular nuggets. Thanks for the unsolicited surprise twist. In the meantime, one thing is for sure, you're not the burger kings of Lozère 👑

01/05/2026: I used to love visiting the Starbucks on Rivoli in Paris, right across from Saint-Paul metro, but ever since the new manager took over, it’s been a really unpleasant experience. I used to go there all the time, and it was always laid-back. Now, he’s very aggressive. Before we even ordered, he came up and questioned us—then, when some friends joined us, who wanted to meet before ordering, he came down and confronted us again, saying, "I saw you pass, but you didn’t order." We explained we were just meeting first, and he insisted we go back up and re-order, even though the tables were dirty, the chairs weren’t reset, and the service was really lacking. This is not at all the Starbucks experience I knew, and it’s really disappointing.

13/05/2026: I ordered a meal on April 28, 2026: everything was cold and there was a very long wait because the first delivery driver didn't come to pick up the order. It was finally delivered by a second driver. I placed another order (same as the previous one) yesterday, May 12, 2026, and this will be my last, because the food was still cold and the Royal Bacon was terrible. I think McDonald's really isn't good when it comes to delivery!

16/05/2026: Friendly staff, fast service!! I removed the stars because of the toilets! They were disgusting, even filthy in the men's room!! Although it was some disgusting customers who were inconsiderate, the cleanliness of the toilets is normally checked several times a day... I hope it will be better next time

26/04/2026: After a 20-minute wait, we left... without buying anything. So far, we've definitely had bad experiences with shopkeepers in Tours.

26/04/2026: We sat down on the terrace. We waited 20 minutes, then called a waiter when no one came to greet us. The waiter told us he'd come when he had time. We waited another 25 minutes, for a total of 45 minutes. We finally left, like other tables around us. You need to review your staff.

13/09/2025: 10€ 4 chicken nuggets and two or three fries either I got ripped off or it's complicated but I've never seen that go to McDonald's you get double plus drinks and dessert..

10/01/2026: Never again. They wouldn't let us sit by the window because they said those were tables for meals. It was 11 am! Those tables were empty the entire time we had our coffee, which cost €7.50! Neither the place nor the coffee was worth it, and the bathrooms were in terrible condition.

07/01/2026: We stopped at this bar because it was really cold outside... Tourist trap with outrageous prices. The staff forgot about us, but at least we were warm. The only positive point: the drink was good.
