30/07/2026: This McDonald's is a huge disappointment. Having tried many all over France, it's by far the worst I've ever experienced. I've been going to this McDonald's for over five years. Seeing the impressive number of negative reviews, I realize I'm not the only one having this experience. Customers all make the same complaints, and aside from a copy-pasted response under each review, nothing seems to change. The problems are always the same: interminable wait times (far from the 15 minutes usually seen at other McDonald's), orders that are ALWAYS incomplete AND cold, and repeated mistakes. Being allergic to tomatoes, I always ask for my burgers and wraps without them. Despite this, I've found them in my order several times, which simply prevents me from eating my meal. For someone with a food allergy, this kind of mistake is far from trivial. When you order a meal and an ice cream, they give you the drinks and ice cream at the register, and sometimes you have to wait up to 10 minutes for the hot drink (which is usually cold). You end up with melted ice cream and no ice in your drink. On top of that, there's a huge lack of organization and often unpleasant service. Reading the reviews, you get the impression that nothing changes despite the numerous complaints from customers. What's more, it's one of the most expensive McDonald's in France. It's really a shame for a brand like McDonald's. When so many people report the same problems, it's high time management took these comments seriously and finally implemented real improvements. As things stand, I much prefer not to eat out or drive a few extra kilometers rather than return to this establishment. Now that Burger King has set up shop next door, you can be sure I have no reason to come back to your place.

29/07/2026: Terrible service at the drive-thru; over 30 minutes wait between order placement and service.

14/07/2026: A place to avoid. Despite the few customers, the restrooms were dirty, as was the restaurant itself. The order received was not what had been ordered. The owner seemed more concerned with the decor than with the quality of service and the cleanliness of the establishment.

14/07/2026: Finally, a clean McDonald's with fast, efficient, and friendly staff – a welcome change from the McDonald's in Figeac!

16/04/2026: I'm quite disappointed with this bakery. The products are relatively expensive for what I find a disappointing quality, and some don't really match the descriptions displayed in the window. The saleswomen are friendly, which is nice, but they chat amongst themselves a lot about personal matters, which can give an impression of a lack of professionalism. Finally, some of the products didn't seem very fresh when I visited. Overall, an experience below my expectations.

08/04/2026: I just left the bakery; there was a wide variety of choices and the service was perfect. Thank you to the young woman for her kindness and customer service.

20/07/2026: The Raft of the Medusa: 40 minutes to order two McFlurries, friendly cashier, mistake on the bill then on the order, plus an extra charge for bad faith; luckily a supervisor intervened. In conclusion, avoid at all costs.

19/07/2026: Second visit. The first time, a 25-minute wait to be served, cold fries, I excused it by saying it was busy... today, 17 minutes and cold fries again. This is fast food. This is the last time I'll be at this McDonald's.

16/07/2026: It's become a habit to have to check that nothing is missing from the order at this McDonald's, but here, they forgot a meat in a Big Tasty 2 meats, we can't open all the sandwiches.

15/05/2026: I've ordered several times and each time half the menu is missing, like a Happy Meal without the nuggets or sauces... etc.

22/07/2026: Normally, a 280™ Original meal costs around €13.15 at the McDonald's I usually go to. Here, it's priced at €15.20, a difference of over €2 for the exact same meal. I haven't compared all the prices on the menu, but if the rest is like this, it's baffling. I understand that prices can vary from one restaurant to another, but such a difference for a fast-food chain is hard to justify. Congratulations to the manager if the goal is to break profit margin records rather than build customer loyalty. At that price, you end up wondering if you're paying for a simple meal or the restaurant's rent. It's a shame, because this kind of pricing policy just makes you want to go to another McDonald's... where the same meal is sold at a much more reasonable price.

11/07/2026: The first order arrived quickly, but the fries were still cold. The second order for dessert was a disaster. It seemed to be prepared quickly but never brought to the table. The cappuccino was cold, and the ice cream was half melted. Overall, not a very good McDonald's experience 😕

08/07/2026: I don't think this McDonald's deserves any stars. We arrived late at night to eat. We had to ask the staff three times because something was always missing. The restaurant was so dirty we almost left. The trays brought by the staff weren't cleaned. Ketchup, grease... Staff arrived to clean the dining area, but they were in their everyday uniforms and looked disgusting! They used dirty buckets and mops to clean the tables. A health inspector is supposed to come, and I'm going to report it because cleaning tables with a toilet mop makes me seriously doubtful, given how blatant the hygiene standards are. In any case, avoid this place and never go back! 👎

26/02/2026: The cafeteria is very poorly run; the service is slow, and there isn't much choice—it's either grilled food or the daily special. The choice is only made when you get to the top of the stairs, when you have to choose your line immediately. Perhaps this sign should be moved to the bottom. Furthermore, there's a lack of budget. The soup is watered down so much you can't even taste it. Once, it was my turn, and I asked the cafeteria worker to put less on the plates, and I ended up with a ridiculously small amount. The desserts are always the same. There's also a shortage of water pitchers.

07/07/2026: I ordered takeout, but there were no tissues and no sauces, even though I paid for them. Honestly, that's not cool. I called to complain, and the manager told me there was nothing they could do.

07/07/2026: Went to the drive on Tuesday 7th July. Had to wait 2 minutes to get my order taken (nobody else in front of me but there was nobody from the staff to see me). I ordered a coke zero. Had to wait 13 min (2 cars in front of me). The coke had a strange disgusting taste of chemical strawberry sweet. Never again.

07/07/2026: Honestly, almost a 25-minute wait for two measly meals? Did they go pick potatoes? Such a long wait on a Tuesday night at 11 PM is really disappointing for a 24-hour fast food place. (Well, it was still good though.)

05/07/2026: I ordered a wrap, fries, and a Coke meal with my points. (So, a €0 meal.) The waitress (accidents happen, after all) spilled half my drink on me. She brought me napkins to clean it up (a disaster on my light blue sweatpants...) and offered me a McFlurry as compensation, which I accepted. So I ordered a chocolate M&M's and asked her to refill my drink while she was at it. She brought me back half my glass filled with just water, so it was undrinkable, and a McFlurry with M&Ms and caramel sauce (well, the McFlurry wasn't as bad). And as if that wasn't enough, my wrap was stuck to the packaging, so I lost a good chunk of my tortilla trying to peel it off. I don't know if it was intentional, I hope not, but still, spilling the Coke and then bringing it back with only a third of the Coke left, just filled with water, and a McFlurry with the wrong sauce... That's a lot... The toilets are limited to two, one of which is tiny (the size of the door opening, basically). There was no toilet paper or towel warmer, just a paper towel that seemed to be blowing air, and the tap water had practically no pressure. Parking spaces are limited, few in number, and poorly designed (like a triangular space? Unless you're on a motorcycle or in a small car, nobody can park there, and it's on a slight curve, too). Hence the 1-star rating. *Update the following day* I'm currently sick. The food wasn't all that great, because it takes a lot to make me sick... no thanks for the stomach ache for at least the rest of the day!

17/03/2026: Ordered a terrible kebab tonight, it tasted like turkey... the panini was for kids, the bread wasn't cooked and the cheese wasn't evenly distributed... For now, I'll stick with Delice Doner.

09/03/2026: I came with friends for the first time, and this kebab was touted as the best in Alençon. I admit I had some doubts about their claims, but once I tasted the kebab, I understood. The meat was of exceptionally high quality for a kebab, the condiments were fresh, and the bread had the perfect balance between crispy and soft. The fries were homemade, which was a definite plus. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the taste. I think it must have been the oil. It's a hit or miss, unfortunately, you know? The negative point was the sauce. I ordered a white sauce, also homemade, but there was an overpowering aftertaste of mayonnaise. I was annoyed at the time, but it's not a big deal. The service was impeccable, with a big smile from the chef. The prices were standard, and the setting was simple and clean. I'll gladly return next time I'm in Alençon.
