01/09/2026: After seeing a flyer, we were drawn to this restaurant. The reviews made us hesitate, but we decided to give it a try for dinner. Luckily, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Laure, who has run the establishment for many years. We enjoyed a delicious fondue accompanied by a traditional Jura white wine and finished with a homemade dessert! Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful evening! 👍👍👍 And let the naysayers and grumps stay home, especially if they can't afford a bottle of water!!! Jean-Marie and Marie-Pierre

28/08/2026: Exorbitant prices compared to the quality and quantity of products. Refusal to provide drinking water (which is illegal). Furthermore, the welcome is far from warm.

29/04/2026: English people (who work there) are asking friends who are 30 years old for their ID cards – absolutely ridiculous! Avoid this place! And the happy hour... you wait in line for 20 minutes when there are only 10 people, only to be one minute late, so you don't get the offer! 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Great customer service, keep it up! 👍👍👍👍👍

24/07/2026: The boss was awful, didn't even say hello, just "get out." Great experience, we loved it!

16/05/2026: First time in this bar, we went there to play a game of pool and darts, just a typical student outing… We had barely arrived (I'm not exaggerating, we had only stepped inside) when a woman (the owner) literally yelled at us, "You're minors! You're minors! There are minors in this group!" We were a bit shocked and incredulous, but we thought the woman was joking (it was so surreal), so we went up to the bar, and that's when we noticed the woman's strange and very aggressive behavior. "Did someone just laugh?" "Who was making fun of me?" We offered her our ID cards as proof of age, but it was no use (the worst part is that no one reacted to her aggressive behavior; she was literally shouting throughout the bar, and her colleague seemed to think it was normal). Frankly, we left the bar completely bewildered by the situation, and I'm not surprised by the recent comments suggesting she was on drugs because her eyes were wide and she was making numerous nervous gestures. Response to the comment: We understand the restrictions regarding minors, but this does not justify the aggressive reception, especially since we offered to show our ID cards as proof of age. I could say that it's also defamatory to refuse entry to people based on their appearance rather than their actual identity (since we were all adults). Furthermore, we simply agree with the previous comments which also describe the manager's completely erratic behavior (including some comments that explicitly mention physical aggression), which can really lead to confusion regarding certain consumption patterns. Before saying that our judgment was excessive, it's primarily the opinion of many "customers" who had a similar and unpleasant experience.

07/09/2026: Quick stop here for lunch while wandering toward the Sacre Coeur. Very friendly service. Sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day. Food was great - you can never go wrong with a croque monsieur.

06/09/2026: I had lunch here, and unfortunately the food was really not good. I felt sick afterwards, so I wouldn’t recommend this place.

17/08/2026: I work with a travel company, booked the bar for 50 people the night before, we were all ready to go and imthe reservation was canceled for a bigger group without any notice, NOT PROFESSIONAL for sure

13/08/2026: No female bathroom, kicked us out when we pissed in the urinal. Literally shouldn’t be allowed to open without toilets. Terrible bar would not go ever again.

06/08/2026: How to save money!!! We came for a drink after the market and asked the waiter where we could sit, mentioning that there were nine of us. He said no problem, seated us, and then no one else was there. We were the only occupied table in the bar. The rest were empty. Everyone else was being served at the counter, but the waiter was just whistling and waiting. After hearing the owner say he wasn't going to serve them, and after waiting for 10 minutes without a waiter coming, we left, thanking him. It's a shame in a listed village not to serve tourists. The grumpy owner should retire if he can't handle anything.

28/05/2026: At 10:30 am we asked if lunch was possible for 12 people... the owner took 30 seconds to think... and then he agreed. Luckily for us, the welcome was friendly, the food simple but excellent, the meat... incredibly tender (Sandrine Rousseau wouldn't have liked it), and the dessert... I don't know how to describe it... simply divine. Our group wasn't from the area, but we highly recommend it to others who are visiting.

03/09/2026: As with any McDonald's, there are supporters and detractors. I use it occasionally and enjoy it once a year. Typical McDonald's...

15/05/2026: A proper coffee house, Lavazza made well. Water brought with the espresso by a very good waitress. The camomile tea was good too.

09/09/2026: Absolutely avoid! The worst kebab I've ever eaten! And one of the employees was incredibly aggressive!

02/09/2026: Be careful, they're scammers, even if it's not always the case. The screen said €5.90, but I paid €9.90. Right after I paid, they changed the price on the screen. Even though I asked if it really cost €5.90 and he said yes, he told me he'd said it was €9.90. They're big liars. It was my third time here, but it's the first time this has happened to me. Such a shame.

22/06/2026: Extremely unpleasant bartenders who rip off customers. There was a bottle of Jägermeister on display above the bar, so we ordered five Jägerbombs. They said OK, and then started serving us some cheap liqueur instead. When we realized this, we canceled our order and got a friendly "well, get lost then"... They're engaging in false advertising by showing a bottle of Jägermeister but don't tell you they're serving garbage instead. Politeness and honesty should be standard practice in this profession. Change jobs 😉

22/06/2026: Arriving at the bar, we saw a bottle of Jägermeister. So we ordered five glasses of Jägermeister and Red Bull. I saw the waitress serve us a cheap brand of alcohol with a low-quality energy drink. When we pointed it out, she said, "That's just how it is!" So we refused the drinks. P.S. That response was outrageous... Avoid this place.

11/06/2026: The gentleman was quite verbally aggressive, a very bad experience, I do not recommend at all.

23/09/2026: Disaster! I ordered 4 set menus plus 4 extras, went to the till, €53, I paid €100, they gave me €37 in change, the bill didn't add up, €10 was missing. I picked up my order and then the extras were missing. When I went back, I was practically being accused of lying, and the guy checked his kitchen video to see if they'd been put in the right place. He even asked the waitress if she'd weighed the order correctly – apparently a new procedure. And I just waited while it got cold, and on top of that, they didn't even add the points for the order. They're completely incompetent...

14/09/2026: Why do I sometimes go back there? I'd like to understand why; it's really bad for my health and my wallet.

02/09/2026: A huge congratulations, and above all, a huge thank you to Laura! ✨ She truly was the sunshine of our day at Plage de l’Opéra. Exceptionally bubbly, smiling, thoughtful, and attentive, she took excellent care of us from beginning to end, always with contagious kindness and energy. If this last day of our vacation was so beautiful and memorable, it's largely thanks to her. Laura has that rare talent of making you feel immediately welcome and privileged, all while remaining natural and warm. She far exceeded all our expectations! Absolutely impeccable service: 10/10 is almost not enough! Plage de l’Opéra is incredibly lucky to have Laura on its team. 10/06/2026: Small coffee shop in a beautiful location. The menu is small but delicious. The staff are friendly. Highly recommended.

11/05/2026: A warm welcome and good service. The setting is superb, calm, relaxing, almost meditative. The dishes are simple but good; it's more of a snack bar than a restaurant.
