03/07/2025: A terrace that's a victim of its own success and its location in the heart of the tourist city. Always full (a testament to its quality), you don't have to wait long for a table to become available. The drinks menu is varied, and the appetizer platter is just right in terms of quantity but superior in terms of quality. A great place to stop for a break during your city tour.

28/04/2026: I arrived at 9 a.m. today, and the saleswoman was very unpleasant. She barely said hello or goodbye. Not very helpful. We will not be returning.

02/05/2026: Contrary to some reviews, I enjoyed chatting with the two people at the bar, one of whom was a really nice, hardcore metalhead. Good beer, good music. What more could you ask for?

01/05/2026: A complete rip-off. I placed an order through Uber Eats for two tacos. In reality, one single taco contained no meat at all, and the double one only contained scraps of meat. On the phone, the manager seemed unable to locate the order. A total joke. This place should be avoided.

13/04/2026: Very disappointed, it's not what it used to be, and it would be good to change your white scooter which echoes throughout the city when you're listening from 2 kilometers away.

30/04/2026: Quick and welcoming, but poor hygiene, the tables are ALL dirty even though the McDonald's is empty, and the toilets are broken.

30/04/2026: The restaurant is filthy; hygiene is clearly not a priority. You arrive and not a single table is clean. Customers have to ask for help cleaning their tables, and there are several people behind the counter, but the manager doesn't send anyone to clean.

16/05/2026: On May 16, 2026, only two self-service kiosks were working, the rest were out of order. There was no table service despite numerous staff members wandering around. The ice cream machine was out of order, and the sandwiches were cold. This was the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Your competitors, Burger King, are far superior.

04/06/2026: It's Thursday, June 4th at 7:11 PM. I went to McDonald's with a friend. A young man at the drive-thru was anything but pleasant; he was completely unhelpful. Furthermore, he refused to accept our loyalty card, so not only did we lose points, but he also made no effort to speak to us. You need to review your team!

12/12/2025: Positives: The staff were polite and respectful throughout my stay. Location: The neighbourhood is challenging. The area has heavy cyclist traffic with limited regard for pedestrians, and the general atmosphere feels unsafe, particularly after dark. Room Quality: The rooms are extremely small. There is insufficient floor space to open a suitcase, leaving the bed as the only practical option. The walls are very thin. I could clearly hear conversations and showers from neighbouring rooms starting at 6am. Additionally, every time water was used in adjacent rooms or upstairs, the plumbing generated loud pressure noises throughout the night. Bathroom: The bathroom is cramped and uncomfortable for anyone over 6ft tall. There is no counter space or shelving for toiletries, not even basic items beyond a toothbrush and toothpaste. Other Issues: • Wardrobe space is minimal and impractical • The television has poor sound quality and several non-functioning channels • No air conditioning. Even in winter, the heating made the room uncomfortably warm • Opening the window (which faces an interior courtyard) resulted in cigarette smoke entering the room • The mattress is quite firm • Bed linen doesn’t stay properly fitted to the mattress • Cleanliness is adequate but not exceptional • The hotel still uses physical keys that must be left at reception when leaving the property Value: The price point does not reflect the quality of the accommodation. The hotel appears to rely on guests needing a single night’s stay near Gare de l’Est with no intention of returning. Conclusion: I checked out early and booked alternative accommodation directly opposite Gare de l’Est. The price difference was worth avoiding the continued discomfort. I do not recommend Est Hotel. There are better options available in the area.

07/06/2026: I just bought a birthday cake. It was frozen (the saleswoman forgot to mention that) and tasted stale (no sugar, bitter). €36 for such a bad product! After calling for an explanation, we were told it was the saleswoman's fault for not mentioning that it needed to be defrosted. No apology or compensation offered. A complete rip-off! This might be due to a change of ownership. Avoid at all costs!

31/05/2026: My husband just left the bakery, and the flan was disgusting, the bread horrible, and on top of that, they wanted him to pay for the previous customer's baguette. Avoid this bakery at all costs; it's disgusting.

19/04/2026: I wanted to leave a review, given the rather low rating for this restaurant. We stopped by for a takeaway pizza, and the woman was very friendly and willing to prepare it even though it was still early. The pizza was very good, with just the right amount of toppings, and ready in 15 minutes—no complaints at all. We'll definitely be back!

16/04/2026: Avoid this place! The restaurant is filthy inside. We couldn't find the ingredients in our salad. Shameful! Too expensive for one piece of tomato and two pieces of chicken. The service was so-so.

17/05/2026: While passing through Valletta, I stopped to order takeout and was frankly very disappointed. I ordered a meal deal and they didn't include dessert! I also ordered a 280g rösti, but it didn't have the rösti! And the box of 20 nuggets had soggy nuggets that weren't very pleasant! And yet, when I went, there was nobody there, so it can't be blamed on a rush because there wasn't one at all.

23/03/2026: The products are of very good quality. The service could be improved. The wait times are long and the staff seem a bit inexperienced. I highly recommend this store.
